Yet, instead of embracing her new surroundings, she found solace in isolation, shutting herself off from human interaction. Days were consumed by avoiding colleagues and nights were spent crafting furniture and honing her dart-throwing skills at the local pub. But then, one night, something shifted.

Half of all Raptor deaths in North America are caused by secondary poisoning. Meaning poison put out for rodents can end up kill a Raptor when the bird consumes the rodent after it has eating said poison.

When I was young my mom miss treated books and how cut things out before returning them to the library. When she grew tired of that stolen part/page I'd squirrel it away when I was in my mid teens I borrowed some of those same books and taped glued etc the stolen bit back in were it belonged. I didn't know any of the names of the books but from the time I was a toddler until I was a teen we went to that library weekly so I had it memorised and knew what sections the book were from and what they looked like.

My reaction when I see "book aesthetic" and the ""aesthetic"" consists of folding the pages of books or cutting the pages to make, usually, hearts or flowers.

There's an special place in hell for people who hurt the books. And the place is on Earth and the devil is me 🔪.
