Pyramid steve is the best character and will not leave my brain

I like to think his millipede grabs stuff for him like a sentient hand and that Pyramid steve has alot of pockets so they can just chill in them.

"Billy Was Right, Dear The Stars Do Look Pretty"

"Billy was right, dear… The stars do look pretty…"

Colored digital comic. Panel one: Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls, in an orange prison jumpsuit, is holding a baby Bill Cipher into the air under his arms. Both of their eyes are sparkling with stars as they look at each other and baby Bill's giggling. Big Bill says, "‪Awww, look at you‬! You sweet thing! You darling little tri-angel! You're the most special baby ever, you know that? Yes you are! you deserve every good thing in the world, and don't you ever forget it! ‪Do you know ‬what you need? Somebody to show you unconditional love and support! Yeah..." panel two: adult Bill lifts up a metal trash can's lid and chucks the confused baby into the nearly full trash can. He says, "‪Welp,‬ good luck out there! ‪remember not‬ to start crying until after they've hauled the garbage outta theraprism but before you're dumped in the trash compactor, okay kid? See ya on the outside!"

So I wanted an excuse to imagine the modern characters meeting baby Bill and to do impossible sci-fi things to Bill's brain in Theraprism. And throw in an amnesia plot just because.

Since escaping Theraprism didn't work, Bill's decided to cheat. Unfortunately the only official way a patient leaves Theraprism is via reincarnation, which means losing his memories. But he's found a way to trick them into releasing him, AND guarantee he'll get his memories back.

Colored digital drawing: Bill Cipher from mid-"chest" up, looking grumpy and propping his "cheek" against his fist, next to a long list of bullet-pointed thoughts: "‪involuntarily committed because these losers‬ don't appreciate my natural mental illness. they won't willingly let me leave until I'm "sane". they think I'm "insane" because they assume I'm some kind of wuss who's "traumatized" by all the awesome things I've done in the past. if they have no evidence I'm traumatized, they have no grounds to keep holding me. if I can't remember the awesome things I've done, I won't do anything they think makes me look traumatized." The bullet point is followed by a picture of Bill holding up a finger with his pupil turned into an exclamation point and saying "IDEA!"

All he has to do is REMOVE his so-called "traumatic" memories (which TOTALLY didn't traumatize him, he SWEARS), get cleared to leave, and then reabsorb his memories later.

And he does this by... physically separating his various traumatic experiences into separate people. With magic.

A drawing of Bill Cipher splitting into two people like an amoeba, one larger triangle with a top hat ad one smaller triangle with a bow tie, shaped like a wonky sideways hourglass. Their sides, eyeballs, adjoining arms, and adjoining legs haven't totally separated yet. A caption wrapped around the picture says, "sure, why not. Bill's already weird enough"

Each removed facet of Bill's past only remembers their own portion of his memories, with only hazy memories of anything before their assigned era.

In effect this means Bill's memory clones work as if some time traveler had plucked a bunch of Bills from different points in his life out of the timeline: a baby Bill with baby memories, a child Bill with child memories, etc. And one modern Bill who doesn't remember much of anything anymore.

Digital drawing. A timeline with an arrow flowing from a tired, angry Theraprism Bill muttering, "Stick to the plan, Bill. Just a little longer," to an innocently baffled Theraprism Bill saying, "Why... am I in an alien psych ward. (It's probably the amnesia, right?) the arrow between them is labeled "removed memories" and branches off into a bunch of sub-arrows that each point to a different version of Bill: "baby years (medical trauma)" with an innocent-looking baby Bill with huge blue shoes; "childhood years (bullying)" with a child Bill in a propeller beanie, blue bow tie, and pink shoes with untied laces; "Euclidean massacre" with a harrowed-looking nearly adult Bill wearing a blue bow tie and covered in silver staticky blood, some of which he might be crying; and a final sub-arrow labeled "and so on".

It's totally working, though! This is the most mentally healthy Bill's EVER BEEN. He's. He's SO mentally healthy, guys. Menetally healthy. Mealthy. he's f ine.

Please believe him.

Digital comic. Somebody off-screen says "I must say, you've been remarkably well-behaved since our last session. How have you been feeling?" Theraprism Bill Cipher, sitting in a blue armchair with a blank face and sitting on his hands as he kicks his feet back and forth, says, "Oh, greeeat! Feeling fantastic! No complaints here!" The shadowy specter of Bill's thoughts hovering behind him and staring at its hands in horror says "Something TERRIBLE happened to me, I can FEEL it, but I DON'T REMEMBER WHAT!!!" After a pause, the real Bill says, "Anyway, how are YOU?"

He's gonna convince the therapists there's nothing wrong with him in NO time.

(The irony is that, lacking the baggage of a trillion years of medical trauma, fear of captivity, and distrust of authority, he might actually go "Whoa, I think something's wrong with me. Don't discharge me, I need help." Another flawless Bill plan backfires!)

Meanwhile, he's smuggled all his memory clones out of Theraprism and they're just running around somewhere. It's fine! He can find them when he's free! Bill can't think of any reason why a bunch of lost children who look exactly like Bill Cipher would run into any trouble! Especially since he can't remember doing anything that would make a lot of people hate him or anything like that!

Colored digital comic. Panel one: the "camera" is angled down toward baby Bill (who's making sad cooing noises and on the verge of tears) holding hands with child Bill (whose fists are trembling with fear, and who has one shoe untied and the other knotted terribly.) Child Bill is worriedly looking up toward the viewer and says "HI! Um. I'm Billy, and this is... also Billy, aaand we're lost on an alien planet. Can you help us find our mom?" Panel two: The "camera's" angled up from behind the Bills' "shoulders" to look up at Dipper Pines and Mabel Pines, who are staring down at them with wide eyes.

they'll be fine don't worry about it

A close-up on Dipper and Mabel's faces from the last image. Mabel's looking at child Bill's hat with giant shiny eyes and saying "Little baby propeller hat..." and Dipper's giving her a disapproving grimace.
A quick line doodle of baby Bill Cipher sitting on a counter and singing to himself as he plays with a couple of Ford Pines's fingers. Ford's standing stiffly and scowling while this goes on.

I might actually touch this up and make it look semi-decent at some point. But mostly I just wanted to get it out of my system while the TBOB hype was high.

Anyway, I'm still milking that preteen line for all its worth.

Pain Is Hilarious!
Pain Is Hilarious!
Pain Is Hilarious!

“Pain is hilarious!”

C’mon guys he had to learn that his eye regenerates somehow!

So fun fact! You know that thing people, perhaps parents tell you? That if you smile it tricks your brain into being happy? Well don’t do that in traumatic moments! Because if you do, your brain mixes wires on how to process shit and when you’re under mental turmoil you might start laughing maniacally! I may or may not know from experience!!! 😃
