I just thought of something I’d never really realized before…in the Chinese zodiac legend the boar/pig is the very last to make it to the banquet/finish the race (depending on what story you’re going by). Then of course the Cat didn’t get there at all. Out of all the Juunishi Kagura is the closest to Kyo.

Considering the twins harsh ubringing, it was no doubt that they would take up their Great Uncle Stanford’s offer at a travelling circus to showcase their “talents”, becoming a side-show act. As their popularity grew, they branched off into a separate business by themselves. The Tent of Telepathy, or, specifically, The Mystery Twins, found its business drawn to the small town of Gravity Falls, a town steeped in its own mysteries. 

However, their lighthearted travels with their Grunkle were soon interrupted as they were confronted by the genuine supernatural. Relying on powers that had once deemed them outcasts, their show took a darker turn after they were forced to… put one of the creatures down.
