❥⁠Synopsis: Lantern Rite has come once again in Liyue Harbor but this year is arguably the most anticipated Lantern Rite of all.

❥⁠Author's Notes: Happy Lantern Rite everybody! I tried to fit everyone but like eeeh

Lantern Rite.

One of the—if not the most anticipated event in Liyue.

It was not an unusual sight to find most people in Liyue to be busy preparing for said festival. What's unusual however is the jittery step that most people seem to have.

"Did you hear? Their Grace will be personally attending this year's Lantern Rite!"

"Really?! Oh, Archons! Then everything must be absolutely perfect for Their Grace!"

Rumors about The Creator abuzz the city, somehow making the lively city livelier with the talk about the Creator. Everyone was excited that Their Grace would be personally attending this year—but none could match the excitement that Zhongli feels.

The usual mysterious and solemn consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor was giving pleased vibes and smiling much more than usual—not to say that he usually doesn't smile, but his smile was much more delighted than his usual polite one.

But indeed, how could he not be pleased when his Creator would be personally coming to Liyue? The other times that You had attended Lantern Rite was through the Traveler, only experiencing the beauty of his nation through possession. This time, You will experience it personally and he could show You his nation at it's most beautiful.

And although he had already made plans with Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper, he's sure that they would not fault him if he is to be sidetracked by accompanying Their Creator around Liyue Harbor as he asked the Traveler to get him some Nascent Bamboo Shoots.

Ningguang, Keqing and Ganyu are making it so that this year's Lantern Rite was the best so far. When presented with the idea of having the Iridescent Tour play at Lantern Rite, they had agreed immediately that it would be perfect.

Tales from the Traveler revealed that You quite enjoy music from the nations that You had visited with them and had participated in the festivals that involves music and the nations's traditional instruments.

They were sure that this was what was needed to ensure that Their Grace's first Lantern Rite after descending will be perfect.

After Dvorak had learned that Their Grace would be attending, he had made sure that everyone in the Iridescent Tour knew and that every musician has to have their piece played perfectly, even as he internally panic.

He was already nervous after hearing that the person—adepti that had saved his ancestor would be watching, but finding out that You would also be watching made his nerves raise to Celestia.

After all, it was an incredible honor for an ordinary person like himself to be at the same place as the Creator. Being able to entertain You and liking their music would not only be incredible but they would surely be notable and be noticed by the other nations.

The music they are playing must be absolutely perfect! As a Fontainian who wishes for You to also visit his nation, he must give a good first impression to Their Grace!

While the others are busy arranging things for the Lantern Rite, Yelan is busy protecting Liyue. She and the Traveler had already dealt with the Treasure Hoarder that was making a ruckus and has no doubt that similar incidents may occur while preparing for the Lantern Rite.

She had took it upon herself patrol around the harbor to catch wind of rumors of trouble. She will protect Liyue not only so the people can relax at the festival, but also so You could enjoy Lantern Rite without interruptions.

Similarly, Xiao is killing demons and monsters all around Liyue. He had been told by Rex Lapis that You would attend and so he must be more vigilant in his duties so that You can enjoy Lantern Rite.

He made it a point to know Your location at all times, shadowing You whenever You would leave the Harbor. He knows that monsters would most likely not made a move to harm You but one cannot be careful enough.

He made sure to keep distance but he couldn't help but be near enough that he could feel Your presence, Your aura a soothing balm to his soul that was tainted with karmic debt.

His soul wishes to be closer but his mind screams for him to not go near the Creator and inflict his tainted soul onto You, even as he knew that You wouldn't feel it.

Silently, he goes on to protect You, only leaving once You are safely in Liyue Harbor.

Yaoyao was excited. Not only did she meet with the Traveler and Paimon, but she also got to meet The Creator! She had never met them before and was happy that she finally could! She even got to finally be one of Your vessels like Xiangling and the others! This was definitely the best Lantern Rite ever!

Xinyan, Yun Jin and Hu Tao were busy preparing for playing for the Iridescent Tour. They hope that You would like their performance!

Hu Tao was pleased that she was able to invite the Traveler to dinner and had also extended the invitation to Their Grace. They promised they will mention it to You as soon as they could.

She giggled and hummed to herself. The dinner at the Kiosk would definitely be fun!

Xiangling was fretting about the dinner. Guoba had already volunteered to stay at Wanmin Restaurant so she could enjoy the dinner but she was pretty sure he was a bit sad that he couldn't see You. She promised that she would convince You to visit him. She's sure that You would like to taste Guoba's cooking!

Xingqui and Chongyun weren't overly concerned about said dinner, though that was mostly because they don't know who else will be attending. Xiangling had kept it a secret to them but they're sure it's going to be fun nonetheless.

Yanfei was busy doing her own thing but made sure that she would spend the day with her Granny. She made sure that she could at least greet You and spend some time with You before returning to her job.

Baizhu and Qiqi were also busy but had made sure that they would be able to watch the performance. Qiqi was insistent to meet You at some point and Baizhu all too happily agreed as he rarely gets to meet with Their Grace due to his duties.

Really, he wonders when his constellation would grace the sky. He had heard various tales of Your vessels as You possess them, longing to be one of them.

Venti had already caught wind of the music festival that was happening in Lantern Rite, having been the one to guide the musicain in Liyue in the first place in exchange of alcohol offerings in his statue—it was his statue after all so there's no harm in taking the offerings right?—and was definitely giddy to catch wind that You would be attending.

He wonders, will Morax be mad of he barged in Liyue and stole Your attention? It's not like one can fault him if he comes to Liyue as a free bard now.

Oh, he can't wait to meet with You and annoy Morax!

Beidou and Kazuha had also caught rumors of You attending. Beidou was already going to travel in Liyue anyways and had offered Kazuha to go with her. He refused however, and was content with watching the lanterns at the Alcor.

Although Kazuha do wishes to to greet You, he thought that You would probably have enough people bothering You and doesn't wish to be another. And although Beidou was already going because of Ningguang, she took it upon herself to greet You when she encountered You.

And as this was going on, the Traveler and Paimon was by Your side as they usually were, seeing the sights, greeting friends and enjoying the atmosphere.

They suspect that Zhongli's request of them getting Nascent Bamboo Shoots was both a genuine request and an attempt to have Their Grace all to himself. Especially when they found You with him, Moon Carver and Mountain Shaper.

They definitely felt as if they were played but they digress, especially after Zhongli had lovingly given You his specialty. They were a bit smug that You accompanied them back to the Harbor instead of staying with the three adeptis.

Paimon regalded You with tales of what had happened after You separated, mentioning meeting Yaoyao and Dvorak as well as seeing Xiao, Shenhe and Cloud Retainer as well as Madame Ping. They had also mentioned the dinner that Hu Tao had invited the three of them in.

And as they watched the festival with You, they feel more than content with this year's Lantern Rite and hoped You had enjoyed it too.

One thing that was only left in Liyue was to attend Hu Tao's dinner. And oh, what a comedy that was.

But perhaps that was best regale at another time.

ok, imagine that, but reversed. (y/n) is a fictional character (from a movie, tv series, video game, you decide) and they’re all obsessed.

they’ve got figurines, posters, life-sized cutouts, EVERYTHING. they attend EVERY con where there might be a chance for ANY (y/n) merch. they will fight for it, do not test them. if a sequel movie or new episode or something comes out, you can bet they’re gonna be eating that up the second it comes out.

raph is so gushy about them. he’s made a life-sized plushy so he can hug them when he goes to bed. he watches his favorite clips of them over and over and over again.

leo’s got all the most valuable stuff. limited time action figures, special event prizes, you name it! he constantly brags about being the one that rightfully stole won those prizes. his brothers 100% try to steal them from him.

you know those really toxic fans that will dox you because you ship something they don’t like? that’s donnie, but there’s really no winning with him. if someone talks bad about (y/n), he’ll ruin their life. if someone likes (y/n), he’ll be that annoying guy that’s like “oh, you like (y/n)? HOW MANY SECONDS OF SCREEN TIME DO THEY HAVE?”

mikey writes fanfiction. you cannot tell me he doesn’t. he makes a self-insert and ships them with (y/n) and writes the most lovey-dovey fanfiction you’ve ever read.

and then they get isekaid and hell breaks loose.

like, they wake up to see they’re in their favorite movie/tv show/video game setting, and then (y/n) swoops in and is like “you guys don’t look like you’re from here, who are you?” and they’re all freaking out.

raph, donnie, and leo are all like “ok, we should probably keep the fact that we’re not from this world a secret so we don’t arouse suspicions,” but then mikey runs up to (y/n) and starts listing all the things he loves about them and it’s all stuff no one should know, especially these total strangers and (y/n)’s like “who tf are you guys??”

✩ ＬＩＴＴＬＥ ＲＯＢＢＩＮ ✩

As you fly around, you land in a small tree with newly emerging leaves, and because it’s such a small tree, the branch you land on is about three feet above ground level.

Resting on the branch, you are already fluffing in excitement about meeting your old friends since you just returned from miles away for the winter.

You were suddenly distracted from your feathery thoughts and something had caught your attention. You hear muffled sounds that could be mistaken for human, but again, what kind of person would lurk around this part of the area. Shouldn’t they be sitting on the public bench nearby?

You flew down into the green grass mix with slightly old leaves that had fallen last year, gaining ever so closer to the noises that the bush was making inches ahead.

Even though you knew your kindness might get the best of you, you didn’t care because you were worried that someone might be in pain.

Reaching the fluffy dark green bush, you peek out your half-top head with crimson feathers covering your whole top, blue eyes focusing on the ground ahead.

Seeing a human boy but with pointed ears, fair complexion with his nose carving into a slight hook. With a huge scar mark going across his hooked nose that was brighter than his skin tone, Huge bags under his closed eyes. You slightly looked down and you could see him clenching his right hand near his heart.

You couldn't hear exactly what he was saying now, but the only thing you could gather was something you couldn't even comprehend or understand. Because you don't speak human sadly.

Done repeating the same words over again he finally tightly clenched his jaw, which finally showed he had a gap between his teeth. You could see his thick black eyebrows were downward, like he was sad from something or someone. His eyes were also still very forcefully closed together like he didn't want to look around at his surroundings.

Then seeing huge tears slide down his narrow face, you heard loud deep pitched cries come out his mouth. You could hear gulping or hiccuping seeping out, like he was trying to grasp for air but couldn't. 

Stepping out of the bush, you wanted to comfort the pointy-ear human that didn't look too good. 

The boy’s back was pushed against a large brown tree, and you could see some dark stringy grass and grainy dirt around his path, a branch had fallen from a tree and your tiny pale cream colored bird feet stepped on it. You heard a loud snap as the branch snapped.

You looked up at the blond boy, he was staring straight at you, looking at you with dark ember eyes, tears leaking from his eyes. At first the pointy-ear human looked very tense, but then relaxed, realizing that you were not a threat.

"Oh. Ya scared me there…"

Hearing him sniffing his nose, the pointy-eared human lowers his right hand that was once over his heart down to the ground beneath him. His soft gaze was on you and was still trying to analyze what type of bird you were.

He stood up with his left hand holding the tree bark, so he wouldn't fall straight to his face, he slowly let go of the tree and carefully made his way to you. Feeling your bird chest beating rapidly you felt your instincts telling you to fly away, but instead you stood your ground.

As he was moving closer, you could tell he had a huge blonde hair string in the upper middle of his forehead, dangling across his curved nose. He had a black short sleeved shirt with some sort of creature in the middle. With trousers that match his yellow jacket around his waist line. But what stood out the most was how many scars he had all over his body.

The pointy-ear human stopped a few inches away from you, bent his knees down to your level, and lifted up his right hand to pet you, but you flinched instantly away.

The human boy stopped his right hand from touching you, seeing the look across his face. His thick black eyebrows were downward and his chestnut eyes were curved up in a hurtful expression.

He used his right hand to lift himself back up to the ground and slightly turned his body away from you. 

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"

A stammer was heard in his own words, he furrowed his eyebrows and closed his eyes tightly, as if he was upset at himself for making you afraid of him. Both arms covered his upper body, trying to comfort himself.

Realizing that he was sad again, you flapped your wings and flew right close to his face and chirped at him, trying to make him feel better or tell him that he didn't do anything wrong. You had to continually flap your red wings in the air to stay close to where his head was at.

He looked towards you with his eyes that quickly went huge or simply surprised that you went by him. Before he could have another reaction you quickly went on top of his ash blonde hair. Finally realized that you were on top of his hair, he was shocked once again.

Both of his arms were slowly raising up and carefully grab both of your sides and pull you softly away from his head. 

You felt he was holding you comfortably by your sides, you were only inches away from his face. Seeing that his lips were curved in a smile and his thick black eyebrows were upward relaxed in a way. You started happily chirping at him once again.

His thin lips let out a soft chuckle, after hearing you chirp once again.

"Ya know, you remind me of flapjack in a way…"

The human started looking sad once again, with this pained expression that you didn't want to see on his face once again. You flew out of his now weakened grasp and slowly started cuddling your cheek with his, to make him feel a bit better. 

He effortlessly smiled at you.

"Thanks for making me feel a lot better."

In response to his reply, you chirped gleefully that you had finally made him smile again.

𝐀𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐖𝐀 isn’t the type of person who says i love you easily, not at all, but he’s also not the type of person who’s nervous to say it, when he realised he had fallen for you, he told you with no hesitation.

It was a cold rainy night, you 2 were finally off patrol, but because of the sudden storm, you both thought it would be better to go into a small cafe down the street and stay there until the storm calmed down.

You both sat on the fluffy seats of the cafe, taking a deep breath of the calming smell of coffee and fresh bread, Aizawa was looking outside through the window, gazing as the droplets of rain fell on the street, until he decided to turn to you, you were happily munching on a fluffy cotton cake that you forced Aizawa to get you, something about the way you hummed in content with every bite of the cake made him feel warm inside i love you.

“Zawa?” you interrupted his thoughts, tilting your head before handing him a piece of the cake as an offer, he shaked his head before looking back at the window “y’know, you sometimes act like a child” he grinned as his eyes turned to face your own, the shock in your face was adorable “WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!” you pouted, a small chuckle leaving Aizawa’s mouth, looking at you with his soft yet tired navy black eyes

im a little nervous about this one because it has more... story? i guess? so i hope you guys still like it even though darling/reader sort of has a canon job 😅 anyway. its sfw this time.

💌 the newly famous rock band DOWNDRAFT had a bit of a reputation for being a little... crazy. there were good stories, bad stories, and generally unbelievable stories about every single person in the band. some people loved them, but the majority thought they were assholes.

💌 the band originally was made up of four members, including levi the frontman, finn the guitarist, shane the drummer, and the bassist. however, pretty much the minute they made it big, their bassist flaked and left the band– and they desperately needed a new one.

💌 thats where you entered their lives. at first, you were just another bassist in the lineup of auditions, most of whom the other three were becoming quickly and increasingly bored with.

💌 but you were skilled, and you had an attitude that no one else had. it was just a quality about you that none of them could name, but all three could agree on.

💌 it started when you stopped shane from interrupting you during the questions, looking him square in the eyes and saying 'i wasn't finished' before simply continuing on speaking. you may as well have shot him with cupid's arrow right then and there; he was almost instantly obsessed. he'd be thinking about that long after you left the audition. and levi and finn are absolutely enthralled by it; shane is a huge loudmouth and usually no one talks like that to him! they find it hilarious.

💌 their label tries to get them to have a bit more discussion, but their auditions don't last much longer after you leave. they are adamant that you join the band as their new bassist. they don't want to even consider anyone else; they want you.

💌 their manager is very delicate with you and lets you know personally that they can be a handful and they wouldn't blame you if you chose not to join up and sign with them. but of course, you take your chances~

💌 almost immediately, their favorite pass time ever will be annoying and teasing you, especially finn and levi who haven't quite had their 'moment' with you yet. but those moments come quickly, especially because they jam a few extra rehearsals and practices in to make sure you've got a hang of things. (and because shane never stops talking about you when you aren't around, his affection and obsession slowly rubbing off on them).

💌 weird nicknames, tiny harmless pranks, talking to you nonstop, being clingy and flirty, etc.

💌 shane is eternally jealous that you practice with finn so often and generally get to stand so close to him when practicing or recording. is he pouting? yes. does he occasionally start banging on the drums in the middle of finn talking or playing as a petty form of revenge? also yes.

💌 finn falls second, after hearing shane talk about you nonstop. it only takes about a week after you officially join the band. finn talks about as much as shane does, but he's wittier, more prone to sarcasm. and the first time he really makes you laugh, like a full watery eyed, clutching your stomach laugh? he's done for. head over heels into the pit of obsession. you leave the room after to get some water and he's sitting awestruck on the couch in the studio, and shane just claps his hand on his shoulder.

💌 for levi, the obsession with you creeps up slowly. he doesn't really realize it's happening, it just happens. but suddenly, just like finn and shane, he can't stop thinking about you. he wants to be at practice all the time, he thinks about you all the time, he finds himself scrolling your social media pages in the middle of the night when he can't sleep... because he's too busy thinking about you.

💌 they quickly start to become territorial of you, like you're a prized possession the three of them are allowed to share, but not anyone else. they're no strangers to 'sharing,' when it comes to partners, so they don't feel at odds with each other; if anything, their shared possessiveness is almost like an unspoken code.

💌 honestly the yandere behavior in general sort of creeps up on them before they even realize anything that they're doing is strange. but once they do, it's a mutual agreement that they don't care. you're too perfect to let go, and they want so much more of you than just your instrument skills.

💌 they regularly stalk and monitor your socials, and at least one of them is constantly texting you if you're not around them. you won't notice it (they make very sure of that) but they'll scare off pretty much anyone else that tries to pull you away from them or talk to you, even executives and other musicians. its the worst at parties and events; they hover around you all night, stealing all of your attention.

💌 they tend to have their hands on you often in situations like this, subtly staking their claim. a hand on your waist or an arm around your shoulder when someone's talking to you, maintaining eye contact with them.

💌 heaven help anyone in the scene who tries to give you shit, talk down to you, or creep on you. the second one of them sees it, or even hears about if afterwards? it's not the first fight any of them will have gotten into, and they doubt it will be the last. they make very, very sure that whoever was fucking with you knows how badly they fucked up. you belong to them.

💌 they already have generally aggressive personality types, so they get downright cruel when it comes to defending you, and its already unfair with the three of them! they'll fuck around and send someone to the hospital for sure, and who cares about an assault charge or two anyway?

💌 before they know it, they're coming up with dumb shit & more excuses to keep you with them more often. it's less effort than following you around all the time! wanna help shane dye his hair? come over and eat dinner? help shane write lyrics? watch a new tv show? participate in a nerf gun war that finn definitely started? please say yes

💌 their ideal is having you over so late that you have to crash on the couch. or one of their beds! really, they insist!

💌 they have their own affectionate little nicknames for you. levi likes to call you sweet thing or pretty baby (if that's your thing), finn usually goes for sweetheart or shortstack depending on his mood, and shane likes to come up with either the generally most ridiculous things he can think of, or the most obnoxious pet-names ever. sugar is a good stand by for him, though.

💌 soon enough, you have a reputation for being the only one the boys listen to in pretty much any capacity. you are their weak-spot, the only one who can get them to behave. and they do listen to you! they're in so deep so quickly, they'll listen to anything you say for even a chance at a little bit more affection from you.

💌 and all of this before you even go on your first tour. it only gets crazier from here, darling!

Ok so i just finished reading the yan bully and i just came up with a idea I wanna share. What if the darling (gn) gave him a ultimatum? Like "ive seen the way you get flustered around me ive seen the way you look at me when you think no one else is but you act like you hate my guts so im gonna give you a choice. Either you say you like me and we work on this or you say you haye me and i transfer schools so you dont have to havs the displeasure of being around me again." What would he do in response?

💌 then he's going to panic over his response. he can't say he likes you! he just... can't! it doesn't matter how true it is! but he can't tell you he hates you if you transferring schools is on the line. well... he could always figure out where you went and just follow you, but that would only work for so long.

Wow I am suprised that idea with smart impostor with power to control will of others. And now I want to add something for our dear reader becose often with impostor au where reader is labede as impostor dsont have power only that gold blood, like if we are truly a creator or thier reincarnation reader shodul have some powers maybe not all of them becose that wodul be boring but maybe unlocking them like traveler by gaing new element and each element adds some godly power anemo-time, geo-creation,electro-space hydro-live dendro-memoris/ilusion cryo-death pyro-energy like at the strat reader is still human but by gaing emeletar powers thier old god/creator powers are coming back and maybe memories of reader previose life as the creator of teyat and that why impostor wants to stop reader becose impostor wodunt care if some look a like lives in teyat only reader becose if reader gains back some of thier powers that will be game over for them

As for elements and godly power bounded with them that I chose well...

Anemo-time:becose of how venti as anemo archon is related to the god of time istaroth(sorry if I got the name worng)

Geo- creation: becose teyat mostly in mass is made of that element so creation

Electro-space: manily becose of how ei has her own kind of demesion where she is inside shogun puppet

Dendro-memories/ilusion: memories brcose of irmusol and ilusion becose of how many plant live can make person see halucification after eating or bearthing them

Hydro-live: well.....water is in evry leaving beging so live

Pyro-energy: to me fire is that primalr energy sorce becose humans first use fire to fule many of things form the light soccer too fire the forges.

Cryo-death: last element that traveler will unlock and cryo rperesting in that god powers as the end of reader jorunie to reagin thier godhood and as Winter is time where we asociaste often with the end of the year like the death is end of the journie trought live some times death can be painless the times where the snów falls down puting the world into rest but sometimes death can be suden like ice storm or painfull like hail

But there is one element.....One last element the fordiden element that no one and I say no one wodul on right mind resort to this but when the reader gets all of the 7 elements...... impostor will in desperation resort to this and that is

Abyss- destruction

Why abyss as destruction and not pyro well to me that wodul be cool wink to old gose saying "evil cannot creact and can only corupt and destroy" but the destruction canot be controled and that will be impostor downfall no punishment form the pepole that they fooled no form the reader....only form thier own green and fear thier live will end and only thing that will be left is thier body as vessel.....vessel that one goal is destruction.

This is a Part 2 of The Imposter Headcanon Post! You don't have to read it first to understand this!

Glad you liked the previous post, anon! And yes, I did make a oneshot based off of the previous post—it's currently a work in progress, but it'll be out soon.

I love this idea of Reader basically being like the Traveler, gaining powers by resonating with the Statues of Seven. It'll definitely be filled with drama and hardships, considering how smart the Imposter is in this AU :D

So...allow me to introduce some of MY Traveler!Reader Hedacanons!

When Reader unlocks a certain element, they can also rely on the Statue of Seven to immediately heal them. → Much like the Traveler in game, they can simply be next to the Statue of Seven and heal rather instantly.

Reader can also teleport there at any time they want, without giving notice to anyone at all. Oh, and using the element of the nation would give Reader extra stamina and an extra boost for their attacks.

For example, let's say Reader is using Anemo in Mondstadt. Boom! They get like—3 weeks worth of energy somehow and their anemo attacks can rival the anemo archon, if not the "creator" themself lol.

Now that I think about it, imagine Reader imitating Venti's Elemental Burst and then suddenly the black hole becomes 2000x stronger as the time goes by—

Speaking of time...let's move on to the next headcanon :D

Reader can manipulate the powers mentioned in Anon's message, but at a cost. → What is the cost, you might ask? They feel the fatigue depending on the duration of time they use this specific type of power.

For example, let's say Reader is trying to escape some puppet dudes the Imposter sent after them, right? They can use the power of anemo to stop time for a small duration until they made a good distance away from the hunters. The only problem is, (in this case) Reader ran 10 miles just to escape. They are going to be exhausted by the time they let time resume.

And yes, there is a limit to how long Reader can use these powers. And, for now, Reader can only hold it up for short periods until they know who they really are.

There will be a slight difference when it comes to the Abyss element, but I'll explain that later.

Reader's memories comes in forms of dreams and "magical text" only they can read. → Ahem. I quoted "magical text" because, let's be honest, it's in our language. Of course no one in Teyvat would know how to decipher it (Not even Haravatat Scholars & Students—we can hear them all crying in the background) except Reader of course!

These texts may seem like usual text messages, but if Reader thinks about it long enough, they actually hold many clues and puzzle pieces of who they are, and what they can do!

The dreams are a little different. Reader is legit replaying their old memories that they no longer remember, recovering parts of their forgotten past little by little at a time. They give clearer answers (sort of) instead of clues and hints.

Reader's Abyss element, when being "purified," creates light. → Yeah, you can clearly see where I got this idea from (coughs looks at Lumine & Aether coughs). The power of the light element is the reaction of when any form of purification is performed while Reader is using their abyss powers.

What kind the light element do? Depending on the situation, the light element will create the thing Reader needs the most. A distraction? Boom, there's a freaking giant everyone needs to worry about. Need shelter? A tent appears out of nowhere. You need a freaking hospital? Light avatars who somehow know medication will appear and be your caretakers!

Unfortunately, the light element is the weakest of all the other seven elements, only being able to perform once after the previous light apparition is destroy/gone. With the other elements, you are able to use it side by side after a short cooldown, but with light element? Not side by side + very long cooldown.

If Reader isn't careful, they might get slightly burnt from the light element, very much unlike pyro.

Once Reader discovers who they really are, they first charge out into a supernova. → Their full powers have been awakened, therefore...we must have a dramatic entrance of the true creator back!

Once Reader regains who they truly are, their powers immediately come surging back, because Reader finally knows how to harness not only the seven elements, but their true creator powers. Thus, a supernova happens, but it's not explosive.

No no...In fact, it will destroy the Imposter's connection to their "puppets" and free all of Teyvat from that absolute Tyrant. Reader is the walking beacon of light today, bois.

Once at this stage, the Imposter is standing no chance. The world literally recognizes the creator and will help them in their mission to kill them. Every single character on this planet will hunt down this imposter till the very end after everything they did to them.

Happy Ending? Well, it depends how writers feel with these headcanons/ideas.

Hello I like the concept of reader in impostor sagau au, but what if the impostor who wants to kill the reader has power to dominate the will of the pepoles but he manily did to archons like venti and nahida becoese impostor knows that those two wodul help the reader. And those are prisoners in thier own body and trys to take back control of thier body even for few secends just to help reader escape, and that true impostor on the public acts on the public like good god but on the private. Where there is no acolaytes only thier dominated puppets they will shows true colors of cruler person that wodul like to punish all of acolaytes for leting reader run away but they can punish only those characters who are under thier control.

Anon, true words cannot express how much I want to hug you right now. I legit could not have come up with this idea myself LOL. Honestly, ik my writing is terrible, but I might make a angst oneshot out of this idea! Tysm for the idea, Anon!

But I really do love this idea! The Imposter being smart this time, bois. Poor Venti and Nahida, they're being held against their will—quite literally. But still, this is a super cool concept! Imposter being able to take control over people's wills, mainly the archons, along with every other character that seems to hold a deep loyalty to them.

So! Allow me to introduce...Imposter Headcanons!

When Imposter takes control, it is done by mind entirely. → Now, you might be asking "isn't that obvious?" Let me explain why I point this out. Think of this as a light switch. When Imposter wants to, they can simply slip into their own consciousness once this "switch" is turned on, and they can decide who's minds they can possess/take control/spectate.

Often times, characters would not be able to notice the Imposter's presence within their mind, but people who are keen or have been dealing with spirits in some way (Examples: Shenhe, Chongyun, Yae Miko, Cyno, etc.) would be able to feel that presence. This causes the feeling of the "Creator's presence" being placed everywhere, causing everyone to believe that the Reader is, in fact, the "imposter," when it should be the other way around.

To the Imposter, choosing who to have a constant control over is basically like choosing which characters you want to have on the party, except with one catch: it goes up to at least several hundreds of people. Imposter can literally have like- a fourth of the world possessed if they wanted to at this rate—

Imposter's actions don't always influence their puppet's actions, as there is a certain command these puppets would follow. For example, the Imposter could be feeling hungry and want something to eat, thus they cannot spectate their puppet's actions. They leave this final command in their heads: "Search for the traitor. Don't stop until you bring them to me. ALIVE." and then leave to have their lunch or something.

The Imposter's Actions May Sometimes influence the character's they possess and their actions. → The best way to explain this is an example: Let's say the Imposter feels sleepy, and they decide to go to sleep after giving the final command to their current puppets to continuing searching for the traitor (for context, this "traitor" is someone who didn't believe in their "creator" aka imposter). They would do it, it's just...sometimes, the puppets may also feel fatigue. This causes their actions to be more sluggish, some of the puppets are less keen than they usually are.

Just think of Al-Haitham except his mind is being clouded by 2 weeks worth of no sleep to the point he has to have taken one cup too many of coffee to function.

The Imposter can speak through their puppets. → This is very helpful. From physical appearance, it just seems like they're the same, but their voice? Oh no, that's a entirely new story yet to be discovered.

The Imposter's voice is overlaid on the character's voice. Think of it like playing two songs at once at the same time. Except, Imposter's voice would come out stronger than the character's voice.

For example, imagine Reader bumping into Nahida, right? They're basically having a Goose Chase, since Reader is trying to get away from Nahida, thinking (correctly) that she'll kill them. And then she taunts, "Come out, imposter. You can't hide forever!" Nahida's voice is entirely overpowered by the Imposter's voice.

This is also beneficial for the Imposter's hunting army. Why? Because, if several hundreds of people begin storming a place, and people are panicking, the Imposter can have all of their puppets speak at once, saying something like "Don't fret, my people. It is I, your Creator." Which immediately calms down the citizens, before the Imposter commands to their army "Search for the Imposter!"

Yes, that means the commands the Imposter gives could be both a verbal order or a mental one.

Imposter Cannot search in people's memories. → While in control, the Imposter cannot look through their puppet's memories. This is probably the easiest loophole the Imposter gets, seeing that they seem to have a close eye on the Archons, having their presence on them sub-consciously at this point. They can simply order Nahida to read someone's mind, or just straight up take over her body to do it if she refuses.

The Imposter doesn't have to worry about their puppet's consciousness, because they're usually in a daze or in a sleepy state whenever the Imposter is in control. It gives them easy access to do whatever they want to their physical bodies.

However, once Nahida and/or Venti decide to break through it once to let the Reader escape? Oh no, Imposter will, first of all, punish those two severely, and, second of all, be worried if that were to happen ever again.

Imposter will legit throw them in a cage, probably both mentally and physically. They're taking absolute precautions to make sure it doesn't happen ever to those who seem more interested in escaping their grasp.

You can basically say goodbye to Nahida and Venti—Imposter will not let go of their control over them. They'll be in their heads day in and day out. No excuses, and no escapes.

Legit Imposter is a straight up tyrant. And tbh, Idk if Reader will be making out alive on this sagau au concept, lads.
