Okay, sidon is a real cute patoot but why does no one talk about these guys? (And gal) fronk has a bubble butt, Bazz is a cute patoot, And gaddison is so lovely (and the only zora with a pastel scales) Where is the love?

@zeldahijinks mr. wubbles will sometimes drop by for tea in soleila’s dimension with tonks the dragon (a plush made after naydra, their local deity) for total world domination

so, yeah I saw @zeldahijinks and @stitchesofsoulsart art chain for their rito hybrids (revali X zora/hylian) (which yes i agree, revali, what a hoe) but i notice a distinct non existant amount of kass chindlings. So I give you Arela, The awkward offspring of kass and a zora. I love her so much, she needs a little tweeking but here’s some concept art.

She’s a singer like her daddy, and jesus christ look at those dual talons. 

also, where her forefins normally would be she has more like then fleshlike feathers, closely similar to a deep sea fish, its transluscent and lows in the dark.

So this cutie patoot is kovas. 

Kovas is a hylian/Zora hybrid, son to sidon and link, and technically older sibling to soleila. 

in @askthecuisson-ler ‘s and i’s rp link is able to conceive and give birth to kavos and soleila by means of the zora mask. for more specifics on that please see soleila’s character sheet. soleila and kovas are different in which when a hylian egg is inseminated by zora seed, the effects are quite different (soleila is the opposite where it was zoraan egg and zoraan seed) 

kovas has a lot of traits unique to hylian hybrids in which they have freckled like scales over their body and for him as a descendant of alpha species, has blade like scales on his forearms. he does have gills and is able to breathe underwater, however he has fish asthma, and i say that in the sense in which he can have issues breathing underwater in majorly cold temperatures or if he over exerts himself, on dry land he’s just fine.

He has facial markings akin to his sister soleila (and again a shout out to rutela) his hair tends to lose its pigmentation the closer it gets to the ends, so the shorter he cuts it, the more light pink it is, otherwise he has red hair as red as daddy’s scales. (and a happy trail, brow waggle)

i mentioned briefly that kovas is not able to claim the throne even though he is sidon’s first born son, the reason for this is because he is more hylian and less zoraan. in our au, rulers must partake of a royal jelly much like a virgin queen bee, however for hylians the effects are minimal, it generates a longer lifespan, but does not react like it does for zora’s. when zora’s partake they get large in size, (see zora king, rutela, and dorephan)  and effects their reproductive systems as well as long life. sometimes its also able to provide them with unique abilities (hence mipha’s grace for example). so his lot in life would most likely be zora regent or lord, though even though he doesn’t possess lightning ability or healing grace, much like his sister and other father link, he does possess the want and need for adventure, and food.
