what i want to say is that music is a thing of joy for most people. to love an artist or their work, to root for them, is mostly because the music makes us feel happy and supported and seen. sometimes it just makes passing the time easier. feeling saddened or hurt now is valid and real. a connection like this feels and is personal. you’re a human being with a heart. we all are. take care of yourself and look after yourself in any way you can. processing something like this can take minutes to hours to days. look after your heart and your well-being. take it slow if you need to. be gentle with yourself and be gentle to those you know, if they may need it too. let that gentleness and care echo.

Uploaded on New Wave Music’s official youtube channel two single days after the departure of Beomseok, [#GYUJIN] Introduction Act 1 - Love Scene is a 01:58 music video featuring the (up until that point unknown) trainee Woo Gyujin.

Altought not explicitly linking itself to LOOPiN and being promoted only in the company’s social media, Minwoo and Seungsoo’s names listed on the song’s production and arranging respectively – side by side with Gyujin’s own writing credits –, as well as New Wave’s last ambiguos lines in the departure statment, was enough to connect the dots: Gyujin is definely joining LOOPiN, and he’s joining soon.

Response from the fanbase has been extremely split between pure indignation and relutant acceptance regarding the upcoming addition, and iNSYNC stan Twitter is currently on fire with complains about the music video’s awful timing, Gyujin hate hashtags, neutral Gyujin hashtags trying to compensate for the hate, and a email template from fanbases all around the world demanding New Wave explains with details the group’s future plans and postpone any lineup additions.

After only two hours of being up, the comments on the MV have been deactivated.

MAKE IT OUR WAY is the first world tuor of fictional south korean group IDOLMAKER. Divied between two parts – the first being a set of Asia-Pacific shows starting from April 2023, the second concerts in Europe, North America and South America announced for the third quarter of the year –, it was oficially announced on February by FURTA Media.

Of course that, in full IDMK fashion, the fan voting aspect of the group will be incorporated on the making of the tour setlist: MAXIs will have the opportunity to pick 6 out the 16 members to have original solo stages throughout the concerts, with the votes coming from Asia-Pacific fans weighing 60% more on the final decision. A second round of voting to determinate the solo stages when the tour picked up again later on the year was promised to fans as well.

As I mentioned before on my talk blog, LOOPiN's Draft 1 (January 2021 - August 2022) has been partially concluded by me at around 70K words spread across Google Docs and various devices Note apps. An estimated 40% of the whole LOOPiN story, what corresponds to what I like to call as their 'season 1', has been planned/written very first-drafty during this time.

Now that I'm embarking on writing Draft 2, I'll pretty much retire these pieces as they've been these past two years. Some plot bits have changed, characters lost and gained meaning, the characterization of the loop dudes has evolved, and so on, so forth.

So! Where I'm going with this! I would love to share some bits and pieces of the work I have trought an ask game, because I'm quite proud of it! So, you guys can send in any word and I'll attach a small excerpt that relates to it from the drafts!
