Pink “Eleusinian Initiate” pinback badge. The Mysteries of Eleusis were religious ceremonies dedicated to Demeter, goddess of fertility, and her daughter of Persephone. They’re known as the Mysteries because no one really knows what the initiation ceremonies consisted of, even contemporary writers were reluctant to write about them.
Frankly since there’s the occasional mention of eating “ambrosia” I reckon they all got drugged and drunk and ran around in the dark until they passed out XD
