I had my campaign to become my class Secretary today! I hope I get it!!!

Question to my fellow people who identify as Xenogender! How would you explain it to someone who has never heard of it? I’ve already tried to explain it as Synesthesia or a metaphor, but I’m not sure the two people I’ve told about it have gotten it. Any advice is appreciated!
