Since he has access to your electronics he is also able to control them to an extent

He blocks anyone in your contacts and messages that he deems a threat to your relationship

He also makes it so your game system only let’s you play HIS game

The only other game he lets you play is The Sims where any family you make is moded to look exactly like you and him

When you’re not gaming he visits your other favorite video game characters and repeatedly kills them over and over again

He seems to be the only sentient being in all the games you own

No matter what he always falls in love with the character you’re playing unless it’s himself

Other players don’t have that experience. He falls in love with someone else in the game

He doesn’t wanna fall in love with anyone else but you

The character he is supposed to fall in love with doesn’t even appear in your game either

Maybe you have a Special Edition or your game won’t update properly for some reason to get rid of the glitch

This is a mistake, it has to be. This surreal nightmare; a church decorated for a wedding, guests absent, yourself being walked down the aisle. It must be some kind of hallucination, never mind the icy touch from your groom on your arm- a grip of iron and cold as death.

And before the evening was over there’d be more than touching going on, if the priest didn’t speak up.

But the fat old man just cowered before the monster at your side, and through the fog of denial you heard the words of ceremony- empty of meaning, just a formality.

Please, you think, staring at him. He’s sweaty and pale and can’t meet your eyes. Please do something. Please stop him.

But he keeps talking.

He’s going to give you away to this monster, you realize, and he wasn’t even going to do his godsworn duty and help you.

Dracula didn’t let you go.

The priest didn’t ask for vows, or ‘I do’s’.

The silent threat would be enough to keep you at his side.
