Lance's way of Coming Out

Ok, so everyone is in on the headcanon where Lance is bisexual, but it seems he’s came out before/during his Garrison years in the fanfictions I’ve been reading. But what if. He never did come out cuz like, he always thought he was straight and was just comfortable with calling another guy hot?

But then boom!

Hot space daddy and Keith got him like “Hola amigos, hold your Quiznaks. Are you sure? Cuz I’m pretty sure you’d tap that.”

And cue his sexuality crisis + his need to blast “I’m not Gay” for hours before concluding for 100% : “Yep, I’m bi. Totally bi. This bi train has been on standbi for too long. Goodbi straight world!”

And hides for who-knows how long before the rest of the team goes find him because 1. Keith hasn’t gotten a migraine for hours, 2. There isn’t anyone messing with Pidge’s stuff and 3. Did the castle get muted or something?

Where did they find Lance? In a goddamn closet. They’re like : “What are you doing in there Lance?”

This boy, Lance beeping McClain/Sanchez, just stands up and walks out of there like :

“I’m coming out, bi.” And leaves them.

Day 1: Introductions

Please welcome… My paladinsona!!!

Name: Rosabell

Age: 14 (human years)

Birth date: Twentieth rotation of the second Mahine on the third Quintant of the Spicolian movement (Wednesday February 20th)

Height: 5'5

Gender: “Flowers don’t have genders, silly!” But they just rolls with the pronoun “her” because that’s what everyone assumes, they doesn’t really care unless someone uses it as an insult

Specie: Floseran

Occupation: Red Paladin of Voltron, Red Lion Pilot

Bayard: Multifunctional whip

Personality: Likes peace and quiet. Like their Lion, they’re temperamental — unnecessary loud noises tend to rile them up the most. Actually unnecessary anything bothers them. (“Can’t they just, I don’t know, talk it out?! They just start shooting us on sight!” “They’re the bad guys! Of course they’re going to shoot us!” “SHUT IT, YANG ← @y-annah ’s paladinsona”)

Other:

When angered, thorns sprout from their skin (which is very often because a certain paladin cannot be quiet), their suit’s been modified so the thorns to destroy the inner spandex layer

Believe it or not, the flowers on the crown of their head are a part of her (“So… you’re a living garden?” “Shut up.”)

Doesn’t like wearing their helmet, it bothers the flowers

Got mistaken as an human quite a few times

Doesn’t like their fire power (“Why not it’s so cool!” “I’m a plant.” “Right. My bad.”)

Likes to make tea with the flowers they grow on themself

Has an odd habit of making puns when they’re annoyed

Their flower head is also multifunctional like her Bayard, the flowers can be used as food, medicine or poison — depending on Rosabell’s mood — so be careful!

Bleeds green blood because science — chlorophyll.

That’s right! We’re taking a whole week to celebrate you and your Paladinsonas!

What’s a paladinsona? Take one part You and one part Voltron Paladin, mix ‘em together and throw them in the oven at 300 for 20 minutes and bam! You’ve got your paladinsona, human, alien, anything! As long as it represents you, and your role on the Voltron team, then it counts!

For one week, we’ll be celebrating the warmth and fun of a community that embraces OCs and self-inserts with daily art/writing prompts and an end of the week event that everyone can contribute to!

                                                    Prompts!

Day 1. (19th): Introductions. Show us your paladinsona! Who are they? What are they? What role do they fill on the Voltron team!

Day 2. (20th): Bayard. “The bayard is the traditional weapon of the paladins of Voltron. It takes a distinct shape for each paladin.” So, what does your paladinsona’s bayard look like? How do they wield it?

Day 3. (21st): Team Bonding. How does your paladinsona interact with other paladins? How well do they get along with others on a team environment? Feel free to include other paladinsonas!

Day 4. (22nd): Colour Squad. Are there any other paladinsonas of the same colour that you think yours would get along with? Show us some good #squad moments with some matching colour buddies.

Day 5. (23rd): Battlefield. We all know paladins fight to protect the universe. How does your paladinsona take to being in the heat of battle? Have they ever been injured?

Day 6. (24th): Downtime. Everyone needs a break sometimes. What sort of recreational activities does your paladinsona engage in when they need some ‘me’ time?

Day 7. (25th): Free Day. This is a day where you can show us whatever you’d like about your paladinsona. Have fun, go wild!

Note that these are just suggestions and you can do whatever you like to celebrate!

              End of the Week Paladinsona Group Photo!

Any time during the week, if you’re so inclined, you can feel free to post a full body picture of your paladinsona with a transparent bg and @ectochoir in it. At the end of the week, I’ll be taking all the images I receive and grouping them together into some fun group shots to post on Sept. 26th, the last day of Paladinsona Week. Colour groups, maybe even making some teams, but there will most definitely be a big group collab piece with everyone who posts one! (Note that sharing your ‘sona’s height is a great help for me in putting it together!)

Day 3: Team Bonding

“Oh come on Rosy, my flower girl, having a portable personal garden is pretty sick.”

“Give me my clothes or I will give you a personal taste of my portable garden’s tea. It’s got a killer taste.”

Well, Rosabell gets along more or less fine with the others, but Ya-yang ( @y-annah ’s Paladinsona ). The Blue Paladin just loves getting on their nerves. Well maybe they doesn’t actually mean to, but Ya-yang is really really loud. So they are the reason why their thorns sprout other than in battle.

The one thing they won’t admit is that they like working with Ya-yang, when they’re not being obnoxious.

“But you’re sure you don’t want to talk about it? I’m a good listener.”

“Maybe after another cup of tea?”

“Sure thing, Anloki.”

On their home planet, Rosabell was known for their unique calming tea. They make it often for their worrywart leader, Anloki ( @bearoflimes ’s Paladinsona), and only sometimes will he talk to them about his worries. If not, they like to keep their leader company. The one thing they loves the most about Anloki is that he respects their need for silence, so sometimes they just sit back-to-back for hours without a word. Just enjoying each other’s presence.
