I’m not a fan of this format of it cause it’s not clear whether the it’s 6 divided by the entirety of 2(1+2) or if the 6 is only divided by the 2, and then multiplied by (1+2)

I used to get CDs all the time when I was younger, cause it was better than listening to the radio with ads when I was an impatient child HAHA and Bluetooth and streaming services weren’t popular at that point.

I have a lot of CDs from that time still, but I haven’t bought a new one in years. A lot of cars don’t even have CD players anymore like they used to.

And as someone who owns vinyls, vinyls are hella inconvenient most of the times, but I couldn’t imagine CDs taking their place. Vinyls just have a different aesthetic, and are still more interesting overall than CDs. I mean in a decade or so CDs will prob have the same appeal.

But as for right now I still love CDs and they’re sentimental to me, but I don’t see myself buying one within the next 10 years unfortunately

Okay random but can I get people’s ideas about CD’s?

I absolutely love them and both my mom’s and my grandma’s car still have built-in CD players which are great for road trips, but people don’t really use them anymore.

They’re great for things like road trips, or when you’re stuck out in the middle of nowhere where there’s no reception. They’re also great if you’ve got a dead phone or device.

A lot of people my age don’t use them and I know that soon enough not many people in general will. And in my opinion, they’re easier to use than vinyl.

My mom and I used to make weekend road trips to my grandparents’ house. Although my mom only really had classic rock CDs from her favorite bands, we still had a thing where she’d pick an album to listen to and then when it would finish I got to pick one. It’s one of my favorite pastimes.

One thing that makes it harder to listen to CDs is the fact that you can’t really find CD players anymore, especially ones that connect to cars. And if you find a used one online, you might not know how well it works until you try it for the first time. Newer ones can also be expensive.

It’s a lot easier to listen to music (again in my opinion) with CDs instead of having to pay for music services like Apple Music and Spotify. And you won’t get pesky ads interrupting you. I think the only con I can come up with is that sometimes I want to listen to my personal playlists and I can’t do that. Although, aren’t there ways to create a CD with a list of songs that aren’t all from the same album? I should probably do more research on that.

I think I might add to this at some point. But I’d like to get other people’s opinions?

I was in my English literature class today and our teacher was showing a slideshow about different Greek writers and poets and there was a slide about Sappho and I looked across at my Token Straight™️ friend and mouthed the words “shes gay” and the girl behind her started PISSING herself with laughter
