Here's a little view of the desert wastes that Ica calls home. Not the most homely, and every so often they have to worry about mutated creatures intruding from across the horizon... but, come heck or high water, he wouldn't trade it for anything.

Suddenly, a little bug appears!

These bugs are another old piece of mine, just a thing that popped into my head that I wanted to practice anatomy on. They're not part of Cole's world yet, though if they do become part of it they'll probably pets more than anything.

They don't have any defined colors, so mostly I just pick whichever ones from my color set I haven't used recently and go nuts with them.

They're also seen around this dragon a lot! ...Dunno if he likes them, or if they annoy him. Maybe a bit of both.

Taking a break, eh Terrance? Just make sure not to lean too far back...

And now to swap gears a bit, from OCs to fandoms. Pokemon is the one I'm perhaps the most active in, and Victini is one of my favorites. Even played Pokemon Black a bit earlier than the intended receive date of my birthday to make sure I got its event.

This picture I drew to celebrate Victini Day, a silly little thing I discovered on Twitter with Japanese users dedicating a day of the year to one or more Pokemon. So of course I drew a piece featuring them in their Liberty Garden basement home.

I also repurposed it for the Pokemedia subreddit, having it use my character Red the Victini—adapted from the one I used in my aforementioned Pokemon Black file. In the future I might put some in-character things onto this Tumblr, to provide a little taste of social media from the Pokemon world.

(And other times I might just do it from the perspective of my trainer self from my personal canon, and not the shared one of the subreddit.)

Next up, here's Terrance, a kaiju! Despite his large size, he works at the city's premier construction company, and practices martial arts in his spare time. Once, he dropkicked a building just to see if he could!

…He asked if it was prepped for demolition first, of course. He's not that sadistic.

Terrance again started out as a nameless OC, this time from a little project I did in 2018 where I tried making one drawing a week. The original Tweet says "Beware the fearsome Kaiju!" but eventually Terrance grew to be anything but fierce. That picture on the right is a redraw with his current design.

(It was originally going to be a Typhlosion, but I ended up changing the design around as I drew it.)

I see Terrance as being good with kids, gentle with small things in general, though with a chance to get annoyed if you get on his bad side. In addition to kicking down buildings, he also gets hired to do digouts for construction foundations. Even makes a little game out of it!

Though, he also sometimes takes company equipment out for his own personal use… Even if he does give it back, I'm sure the boss won't be happy.

My phone decided to become uncooperative a few days ago—hanging on startup, refusing to go through the lock screen, not opening apps... All in all, worrying.

My tech-savvier brotherhas been trying his best to fix it, but at this point he says it'd be best to just straight-up factory reset the thing. Which... is understandable, sure, but I feel so attached to how it currently is that I don't want to lose it all.
