luke castellan never really went "evil", he's not even a "villain". he's just standing up for himself, for his friends and family, and doing what he believes is right which just so happens to be on a different side than percy because if annabeth or grover actually had been revealed to have stolen the master bolt by the end of the book or show or whatever, more people would be siding with them. luke is a victim of the narrative because in TLT, we never get to see his side of things until the big reveal and even then he's only recounting the events. and that's AFTER we become attached to the trio. LUKE IS NOT A VILLAIN.

The most disappointing thing that happens in the pjo tv show to me is how they ruined Annabeth and Luke’s relationship, like it’s so unrealistic for Annabeth to turn on Luke that quickly, throughout the books Annabeth believes that Luke can still change, until she learns about (spoilers) Silena it’s a huge part of her character that plays into her fatal flaw being hubris and admiration for Luke
