I Always Hoped That Any Mortal Engines Film Adaptation Would Be Done By Studio Ghibli, What With The

I always hoped that any Mortal Engines film adaptation would be done by Studio Ghibli, what with the airships, and the post-apocalyptic world built on the ruins of an advance civilisation.  It’s basically Laputa with the city a little closer to the ground ;)

So, inspired by watching the film last week, here (belatedly) is my attempt at a Ghibli-style Shrike & young Hester

as a huge huge fan I was very worried

good news: it f——- ROCKS

it is not like the smartest deepest most critical-darling cinematic feature

however it is

1) fun

2) awesome

3) enjoyable

4) shrike is my dad

5) anna fang is a bi icon
