A couple of quick Heisenbitch sketches that I made today because I just suddenly started to miss them. 

Season 2 of this show in particular is somehow very nostalgic to me  — maybe because it has a good balance of them being dysfunctional together but at the same time kind of starting to figure each other out? Like… their dynamic gets established really well but all the completely awful stuff has yet to happen (at least before Jane dies). And even the heavier scenes I do really enjoy and think are some of the best in the show. 

Anyway, I may or may not clean these up a bit later.

The way all Jesse wanted was to have people want him around and not think he’s worthless and then as the story progresses he is wanted by everyone but only as a resource with an expiration date and his worth is incalculable but only monetarily and he’s more dehumanized and abused than he’s ever been… something ab how the values associated w toxic masculinity are fundamentally counterproductive to the pursuit of genuine human connection
