I agree that Harringrove would be more believable in canon bc Billy and Steve had more interactions, but I just can’t get behind it cos Billy was so volatile, and though the show strived to humanize him at the end and have him do one final noble act, it’s obvious in s4 that his behavior had a lasting negative impact.
