Y/N's P. O. V

Our stylist was the loudest man I've ever met. He came in wearing an elegant suit and scolding everyone in the room.

'Jin!  Stop!  You're pissing everyone off!' Milly whined.

'I don't care. I want everything to be perfect!  I can't tolerate anything mediocre for the next few hours' he said,  dismissing one of his own assistants and standing behind Milly's chair.

I sat watching the drama.

'You.' he said,  pointing at me. 'You're the maid of honor?'

'That's me' I said,  sighing.

'What are doing sitting there?  Get your make up done!' he snapped at me.

Milly mouthed a 'sorry' at me before Jin's assistants got their hands on me. After my make up was done,  I sat  feeling jittery again. I just wanted to talk to Taehyung. I changed to my dress before Jin came in and told me off again. I stood in front of the mirror,  running my hands over my dress before walking over to the window.

'I haven't spoken to him since yesterday,  Milly' I said,  glancing out of the window.

'It's OK,  he'll know why' Milly said.

I nodded, my eyes searching for Taehyung in the crowd. I caught a glimpse of Namjoon as he passed by.

'Ooh!  Joonie looks so hot in that suit!' I said,  making Milly rush to the window. 'Sorry,  he's gone'

'Uh!  I don't know why I'm so nervous!' Milly said. 'I was fine until I put this dress on!'

'Calm down!' I said,  standing next to her and holding her hand. 'You look beautiful,  Milly. The most beautiful bride I've ever seen'

Milly blushed and gave me a smile.

'And you're the most beautiful maid of honor ever! I love you,  Y/N. Thanks for being there for me,  always' he said,  hugging me, with tears in her eyes.

'I should be the one thanking you.' I said,  my own eyes moist.

The door flew open noisily,  as Jin stormed in.

'Oh no!!! My make up! I'll kill you both if you ruin that work of art!' Jin said,  pulling us apart and studying our faces.

'Calm down, Jin' Milly said shaking her head.

'I can't calm down till the day is over!' Jin said,  rushing out of the room again.

As Milly walked down the aisle,  Namjoon teared up. He wiped the tear at the corner of his eyes and held out his hand to Milly. I was so happy for them both, I bit my lip to stop myself from crying.

Taehyung gave me a soft smile from the other side as Milly and Namjoon made their vows. It was truly the most beautiful scene ever. Even Jin shed a few tears of joy.

Once the ceremony was done,  I desperately wanted to find Taehyung,  but we didn't even get to see each other.

Taehyung's P. O. V

Every time I tried to catch hold of her,  she was taken away by someone else. Somehow I wasn't able to shake this feeling that she was avoiding me.

But why would she?

I took a sip of water, sighing. Did I rush things?  Did I read in between the lines and ruin everything?

I didn't know. She was the most beautiful part of my life and I couldn't think of being without her. I watched as she chatted with some guests. Ignoring the lump forming in my throat, I made my way to the dressing room to get my guitar.

Y/N's P. O. V

I tried a few times to find him and finally gave up as the evening party began. I won't get him for that entire night since he was going to be singing. Sighing I pulled out a chair and sat,  my eyes fixed on him as he dedicated sing after song to the couple who danced.

I spent some time with my mom and Jungkook's mom as they admired Taehyung and his music.  He really did make it fun for everyone. So many couples on the dance floor,  having the time of their lives.

Taehyung cleared his throat suddenly and everyone moved back to their  seats.

'It's been a long day and I know everyones tired,  but I have one last song.' he said,  smiling. 'This one is for my best friend and  my roommate. She's the light of my life,  no other words to describe her. I love you,  Y/N. This is for or you.'

I sat petrified on my seat as all eyes fell on me. I held on to my Mother's hand as Taehyung began humming.

It's that song!, I realized. The one he kept humming,  but wouldn't sing. I sat frozen as he sang, the words pouring out of his mouth making me cry.

My mother held me close as tears rolled down my cheeks. His own face was wet with tears. His voice cracked towards the end of the song.

My mother gave me a gentle push, as I got up from my seat and made my way towards him,  my legs wobbling. He just stood up and I ran up to him,  throwing my arms around his neck. He hugged me tightly,  and we cried, not being able to hold back anymore.

'I love you,  Taehyung.' I said and he kissed my cheek,  murmuring, 'I love you too,  baby'

A few people cheered us,  Milly and being one of them. She and Namjoon came running to us, tears of joy shining in their eyes.

Once Milly and Namjoon left,  slowly the guests returned to their rooms.  Taehyung walked towards me slowly, a smile on his face.

'Uh,  so...i was going to get some coffee. Would you like to join me?'

He blushed,  making me laugh.

'I would love to,  Taehyung'

Taehyung x reader

Author's POV :

The first time Bambi came over to stay at Y/N and Jungkook's new apartment, Jungkook was beyond excited. He had a play pen ready with all kinds of toys ready for her. He had also found this pet park where he had planned to take her.

'OK, Mommy, we're going out for a walk' He called out to Y/N as he and Bambi made their way out.

'I need you both home for lunch!' Y/N said smiling at the two.

Jungkook and Bambi made this their regular thing - a walk in their favorite pet park. On one such day, they were on their usual walk when Bambi stopped all of a sudden.

'What's it Bambi?' Jungkook asked, crouching down to her level and scratching behind her ears.

Bambi began walking, pulling at her leash. She led Jungkook to one of the benches, where a man sat, singing. He had a little black and tan Pomeranian in his lap, watching him as he sang.

Bambi settled down in front to the bench, gazing at the man who sang with his eyes closed. Jungkook smiled in fascination as he watched the two dogs enjoy the music.

'How's that Tannie??'

The little dog yapped at the man, making him laugh. And then his eyes fell on Jungkook and Bambi.

'Oh, hi' he said, standing up.

'That was pretty awesome' Jungkook said. 'I didn't know dogs were into music'

The man laughed.

'Oh they are' he said. 'You just need to know what kind'

'I'm Jungkook and this is Bambi'

'We're Taehyung and Yeontan'

Jungkook wasn't the first person Taehyung befriended in the big city. But he was definitely one who left a mark in him.

Taehyung admired the way he loved his life. Nothing was an obstacle for Jungkook. Nothing could literally stop him for doing what he wanted.

They rarely discussed about personal life, but when they did, Taehyung couldn't help but feel warm about the way Jungkook spoke about his Y/N. They were perfect for each other. Exactly opposite, but just right.

Taehyung remembered the last time met Jungkook vividly. He knew something was wrong when he met him after months. He looked pale and the shine in his eyes were nearly non-existant.

'Jungkook, it's been a long time' he said, shaking hands with him.

Jungkook smiled and said 'Yeah, things have been a bit crazy'

Taehyung was heartbroken to learn of Jungkook's diagnosis. He knew he had just proposed to Y/N. This was all so wrong.

'There are so many good hospitals offering treatments for this, Jungkook' Taehyung said, shaking his head. 'It's nothing really'

'Yeah, I suppose' Jungkook said with a shrug.

He sighed before turning to face Taehyung.

'I'm not afraid.' he said. 'For myself. But Y/N-'

He fell silent for a while.

'She is this pampered baby' he said laughing fondly at her thought. 'She is already falling apart'

He look in a labored breath.

'It'll all be fine' Taehyung said, patting Jungkook on his shoulder. 'You're gonna be fine'

Jungkook nodded.

Taehyung would never forget that look in his eyes when Jungkook hugged him and walked away. It was the last time he saw Jungkook's smiling face.

Kim Taehyung x Reader 💕

Taehyung was still asleep when I slipped out of bed. I pulled on my clothes before getting into the bathroom and locking the door behind me.

I dialled Milly's number and waited for the to pick up.

'Hey sweetheart' I heard her say. 'Good morning'

'Milly,  I need to talk. Now.' I said,  my whole body shivering from last night's  experiences.

'Sure. Meet me down at the restaurant.' Milly said to my relief.

Trying to calm my nerves,  I sat breathing in and out. I walked back into the room slowly,  my eyes falling on Taehyung. Slowly placing a kiss on his cheek, I wrote him a note saying I was going to meet Milly.

Milly gave me a nice big hug as I went running to her.

'Are you OK?  Y/N, you're shivering' Milly said,  making me sit and ordering me a cup of coffee.

'Milly, my hands won't stop shaking' I said,  looking at my hands. 'It won't just stop'

'What happened? Everything looked OK last night' Milly said,  taking my hands in hers and trying to warm them.

'We... We-' I was going crazy. I knew the anxiety creeping in. 'I'm so scared.'

'Can you please tell me what happened?' Milly asked,  giving me a worried look.

I looked at her with tear filled eyes and told her everything.

'I love him,  Milly. I do.' I said in between tears. 'He means the world to me'

Milly gave me a confused look before smiling. Her eyes went down to my hand, touching my ring finger.

'You took it off' she said.

I nodded,  biting my lip. I had finally taken off Jungkook's ring before coming. I finally knew what I wanted. I wanted to cherish his beautiful memories. I wanted to live the way he had taught me to. I wanted to love Taehyung with all my heart. I wanted him in my life more than anything.

But I was scared. There was nothing I could do to make it go away. Each time I try to embrace the fact that I love Taehyung,  the pain from Jungkook's loss grips at my heart, making me take a step back.

'Don't fight it,  Y/N' Milly said. 'Please.'

'I'm so scared' I whispered. 'I love him so much.'

'Sweetheart,  I'm so happy you finally understand. But don't push him away'

Milly said,  squeezing my hand. 'He loves you. Isn't it all that matters?'

I nodded.

'But' I said,  shaking my head. 'He. He's -'

I was hyperventilating.

'I'm OK. You should go.' I said,  wiping my tears. 'I'm fine'

'No. I'm not going anywhere.' Milly said.

'Milly you're getting married!' I said,  wanting to slap myself for dragging her down here. 'I'm sorry!'

'Oh God,  Y/N!  I've known you since forever!  Why do you have to bring these formalities in between us?!' she scolded. 'If you need me, I'm here. That's that. Namjoon can understand.'

I nodded and hugged her.

'Taehyung is an amazing person Y/N. And to be honest,  I ship you guys from day one!' Milly said with a grin. 'I'm so happy this is happening now!'

I smiled at her.

'I wish I wasn't this afraid,  Milly. I just - it's like I'm already waiting for something bad to happen' I said sadly.

'You don't have to!' Milly said. 'Everything will be fine. I want you to go back right now and be there when he wakes up'

I did just that.

I watched him sleep for a while before he woke up,  reaching out for me.

'What are you doing there?' he asked, seeing me on the couch.

I just shrugged and made my way towards him. He smiled as I sat beside him.

'Good morning' he said,  placing his head on my lap.

'Good morning' I said,  running my fingers through his hair.

He hummed contently,  snuggling comfortably.

'I love it when you do that' he said looking up at me.

'Taehyung' I whispered.

He sat up,  eyes droopy from sleep but still attentive.

'Are you OK?' he asked.

I nodded. But before I could talk,  heard my phone buzz.

'Mom?' I said into my phone. 'Oh you're here!'

Taehyung's eyes didn't leave my face as I  spoke to my mother. He frowned,  worry etched on his beautiful face.

We didn't get to talk that day. Or the next day.

Kim Taehyung x Reader

I opened my eyes to his voice again. Bambi and Yeontan were cuddled up with me and my hand reached out for Taehyung,  but he wasn't there. Missing his warmth,  I got off the bed slowly. Pushing my feet into my fluffy slippers,  I made my way out of my bedroom and followed his voice.

I smelled eggs first. And then something else - sausages? And coffee. Smiling I walked faster. But his voice fell asleep he heard me come.

I whined as I entered the kitchen and I heard him chuckle.

'Why won't you ever sing that out loud?' I asked,  standing beside him.

He patted the kitchen counter,  helping me sit on it.

'Tell me why?' I asked again,  rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

'I will sing it to you,  I promise' he said,  kissing my cheek and handing me a cup of coffee.

'But I wanna hear it now!' I said with a pout.

'Don't do that' he said shaking his head. 'I'm not falling for it'

I exhaled loudly,  sipping my coffee.

'Thanks for last night. I hope I didn't hog the blanket' I said.

'Oh you did' Taehyung said with a grin and handed me a plate of food.

'I'm sowwy' I said with a month full of bread and eggs.

Taehyung just looked at me,  his eyes showing something I haven't seen, ever.

We were interrupted by the doorbell,  and I saw the disappointment in his eyes as I quickly slipped away to open the door.

After what felt like ages Milly finally got the wedding gown of her dreams and after placing the order,  we went out for coffee.

'So you're telling me that Taehyung said that he loves you and he sorta kissed you' Milly said,  sipping her coffee.

'Not necessarily in that order' I said, nodding.

'And you two haven't talked about it since'

'Nope'

I sighed.

'Y/N, what is in your mind?  How do you feel about it?' Milly asked.

'I,  Milly' I was so confused I couldn't talk.

'So you like him?' Milly questioned me.

'I love Taehyung!' I said to Milly's shock. 'That man is the reason why I'm still sane, Milly.'

Milly nodded with a smile.

'But I'm not sure if I'm ready for that kind of commitment again. Jungkook,  when he left,  took a part of me with him... I won't survive another-'

'You can't say that,  Y/N' Milly said shaking her head. 'Taehyung is a different chapter all together. You can't keep running back to Jungkook every time something comes up'

I knew she was right.

'What if I feel that way because I desperately crave affection?  Like,  I want Jungkook,  but Taehyung is just always there,  so?'

'Oh God,  sweetheart,  your mind has been Satan's workshop hasn't it?' Milly said,  putting  hand on her chest dramatically.

I rolled my eyes at her.

'You're worried if this is a rebound kinda situation' Milly stated. 'But I highly doubt it'

I wasn't convinced.

'Milly I love him too much. He's literally family. I can't ever hurt him. I won't last a day knowing that I've hurt him' I said. 'I need to be sure'

'Oh sweetie,  don't stress about it. Just give it a bit of time, I'm sure things will fall in place' Milly squeezed my hand with a smile.

I nodded and cleared my throat as the boys approached us.

'OK,  so that's done!' Namjoon said,  sitting beside Milly as Taehyung joined me.

'Yay!' I said with a little clap.

'So all our clothes are set! Now we have only all the other stuff left!' Milly laughed sarcastically.

'We'll get it done!  Relax!' Namjoon said,  waving her away.

'What about the music guy?  Did you call him yet?  No?  Thought so.'  Milly glared at Namjoon.

Taehyung stared at the two in shock.

'I was gonna do it now!' Namjoon whined,  grabbing his phone quickly.

'You guys are kidding me right?!' Taehyung asked all of a sudden. 'You're calling someone else?'

The entire table fell silent. Taehyung looked at me with his hurt puppy eyes. My eyes darted to Namjoon who burst out laughing.

'Sorry,  I can't ' he said. 'He's too sweet'

'I hate you all' Taehyung grumbled,  grabbing my cup and taking a sip.

'Why would we call someone else,  TaeTae??' Milly asked with a chuckle.

'Good,  'coz I've been practicing something special' Taehyung said with a grin.

'Really?' I asked,  narrowing my eyes.

He grinned and winked at me.

'OK,  now I'm really curious' Milly said with a fake frown.

'You'll see' Taehyung said.

'Oh,  and another thing' Milly said. 'About the hotel room'

'What about it?' I asked.

'Uh,  they're a bit short of rooms,  so we had to put you two in one room.' Milly said,  giving me an apologetic look. 'I hope you guys understand,  I mean you're roommates after all'

Namjoon wanted the wedding at his hometown,  and since Milly didn't have her family in Korea,  she agreed. She family was flying in from New York that weekend and have the shortage of rooms.

I blushed as I stared at her. I was already trying to escape the awkwardness of having slept on the same bed once and what followed this morning. And it's gonna happen again.

'Um,  don't worry about it' I said shaking my head. 'We'll manage'

'It's not a problem' Taehyung added and I saw that his ears had turned a bright shade of pink.

'I love you both' Milly said giving us a happy smile.
