Hello tumblr! Hope you have room for one more OC to love. 

We’re ChoiBok and Ismaire Jeong, and this is our beloved Narrator - they’re pretty much representative for the Cosmic Garden Art blog~ ^_^ We plan on using them to create an interactive experience for fans who choose to interact with our fictional world(s). 

In the future, you’ll see more of them as the host for Snips & Tales (a side gig for our passion project, Sweet Nightmares). It’s a collection of in-betweens, outtakes, flashbacks, and other short stories related to the Wild Magic Universe, but that don’t directly fit into the storyline.

Vel's primary monster form that I post the most is their Wyrm form! I use wyrm loosely because I do understand that wyrms are typically long boys but I love the word specifically for him cause it really matches his vibe, and wyrm just feels more archaic and old-beast than the word dragon or drake

Their color palette depends on my personal preference realistically, but in-character his skin can color shift undertones from purple to jade, and chromatophores in their skin mean their patterns can change too, manually.

His base tone is always black with a splash of red though, because I find the red in the face to be threatening and the red of the throat to be handsome, in the way that many creatures will have colors that are specifically for communicating or attracting a partner.

Although I'm still not sure about their mouth color... Hmm, usually it's dark too, but this bright color was fun to experiment with.

They are large and predatory, and super-social with other dragons (since imo dragons are highly intelligent emotionally and interpersonally both in natural, animalistic communication and in spoken language and exchange of ideas)

Creature sound wise, he bellows, thrums, chitters (more rumbling low end and avian sounds at the high end) plus The thrum is so much spookier and intimidating to me than an outright roar? you feel it before you hear it type deal, deep in your chest like thunder.

They are just a huge freaky boy, warped inside and out by dark magic due to their own spell that split their heart in two in order to cope with a great grief and step away from the feelings that were drowning him. Always a dragon, but made more beastly and wild and primordial than his kin; oozing with a noxious aura that makes rooms dark to be in with him.
