Saw a real shit "hard to swallow pill" take for artists the other day on the X app. Person claimed that any sort of fanart is completely illegal and anyone who makes fan art to help grow any sort of following or do it for fun is a bad artist.

Funny enough they've made fanart and seemingly traced stuff as well 🙃🙃 so like...
