I will not stray far from the group I go down with, chances are one of my friends will find me tagging along like a lost puppy. Who will you be with?

I’ll likely be mingling in the same group as @purrfecktlysinful. Do you do free art/writing? If you ask nicely I don’t mind doing a quick messy doodle- I’ll try to remember to bring a sketchbook and pencils!  What is your gender?

Female- so she/her. How old are you? 25, for now.  How tall are you? somewhere between 5′5″ and 5′4″. Can I talk to you?

You can try? I get super nervous talking to new people usually. I will be wearing colored bands on my wrists- if it’s green I’m good to go. Yellow band means I’m getting to be nervous. If I’m wearing the red band it means please leave me alone as I need to decompress/calm down. It’s also really hard for me to pick out voices in an noisy area so you may need to get my attention first. Can I hug and/or snuggle you?

Please ask first. I am touch sensitive- please please PLEASE do not touch me out of the blue without warning! I may not show it outwardly but unexpected touches can be very unnerving to me. It’s nothing personal- it can just get overwhelming fast. That said hugs and snuggles are at least appealing in theory- just ask first.   Are you nice?

I try very hard to be friendly and nonjudgmental- I like to think I’m nice. Just also timid.

Are you cliquey?

No? I don’t understand cliques. If I see you, how should I get your attention?

I’m not sure? I’m afraid that I don’t really know how to do this in general- but I’d say make sure I can see you and if I don’t seem to hear you wave and approach. Eventually I’ll work out it’s me you’re calling/waving at. (and if you’re nervous remember- the wild Colby is more or just as afraid of you as you are of her.)  Are you cosplaying/fursuiting?

No, I’ll be wearing regular street clothing. I will most likely be wearing a denim vest with pins and a couple pusheens on the front- and depending on the weather I might be wearing an Annoying Dog hat! Can I buy you drinks/food/ex.? Please don’t. Can I take your picture?

Walking around the event, most likely.  You will probably be able to pick me out of a crowd by my blue and purple hair.   I also should be wearing at least my ‘sona’s tail.  I CAN make their skull and such, but I am running out of time to do so. ^_^;;  Who will you be with?

I’m not really ‘with’ anyone.  I will be spending this weekend talking to as many of my friends as possible.  Meeting everyone in one place and being able to connect is going to be amazing. Do you do free art/writing? I will be carrying around a sketchbook for people to sign/doodle in and I encourage you to do the same.  Sketchbook exchanges, no matter your skill level, will be a great token to bring home. I am nonbinary and prefer they/them pronouns.  I don’t mind if you slip up, the effort is appreciated. How old are you? Level 30 but I act like a NooB. How tall are you? 5′4 Can I talk to you?

Yes, please feel free to talk to me UNLESS you see a panicked expression on my usually ‘-_-’ or ‘ : ) ‘ face.  If I am heading somewhere and looked scared, I likely am trying to distance myself from the crowd to cool down.  But other than that, I am okay with meeting you. Can I hug and/or snuggle you?

Please ask before hugging. ^_^  And snuggling is for Writer’s Harem/close buds only.   Are you nice?

I am very polite and like to talk about Undertale.  I definitely am not a mean person.

I will at least have my sona’s tail complete.  The head is less likely so because I don’t have the know-how for certain aspects of the piece in such a short time-span.  So I will be semi-cosplaying. Can I buy you drinks/food/ex.? Please don’t buy me stuff. ^_^;;   Can I take your picture?

TEN THINGS AN AUTISTIC PERSON WANTS YOU TO KNOW

1) I am autistic. There is nowhere that I end and autism begins.

2) Ordinary sights, sounds or touches may be difficult or painful for me. Please be understanding if I ask you to turn the volume down, turn the light off, or not to touch me without warning.

3) If I didn’t catch what you said, it may not be because I’m not listening. I sometimes have trouble processing spoken language, especially when there is background noise.

4) I like routines because I know what to expect. It’s best to not spring surprises on me.

5) Don’t ask me, “Everybody else can do X, so why can’t you?” I am not like “everybody else.” I may not even be like other autistic people.

6) I may have difficulty asking for what I need due to difficulties getting the words out or even just due to anxiety. I don’t mind if you ask me if I need something; just don’t do it every five minutes.

7) I learn better when I can learn MY way. Most people do, even those who aren’t autistic.

8) Just because I’m not making eye contact doesn’t mean I’m not paying attention.

9) Just because I’m autistic doesn’t mean I don’t want to have friends. However, I’m an introvert, and I need time alone to recharge.

10) Ask me about my special interest, but be prepared for a monologue.
