One of the things I loved most about the good place finale is that none of the character’s defining traits were “compromised” for the sake of growth... like often characters who become “good” just become these bland unrecognizable and unattainably perfect saints but in the good place they all stayed themselves, from pillboi to kamilah to eleanor’s friends, they just became more at peace and more thoughtful and thus more caring with each other but still real and believable... it just makes it feel like we all could achieve that type of growth, ya know?
