Made this last night because I finished reading Charles Burns' "Black Hole". I couldn't think of any of my OCs this would be good with at the time so I was like "guess we're doing Odd Squad fanart now". It did the job of healing my soul for the night (heal the disturb, disturb the sane, yadda yadda quote).

DAN VS. CHRIS FANART!!!

I've been slowly watching Dan Vs. for the past two years, and I'm only two episodes away from finishing ("Family Vacation" and "Summer Camp" is what's left). I've been leaving the season finales for last ("Chris" technically aired second-to-last in Season 2, but it was intended to act as the S2 finale), so I got around to "Chris" last month and it did not disappoint me. Loved it so much, I whipped out MS Paint to make a doodle I thought would take 30 minutes to an hour, and actually ended up being much longer. It's not a masterpiece or nothing, but I think it's pretty darn good considering I don't make much in MS Paint. I did cheat a little since I have the version with layers (except with the lightning bolt; I had to remake it after I'd saved a PNG of the image, which nukes all of the layers, so bye bye doodle hiding in layer 3).

I also added this GIF for thematic purposes, but now I've just been watchin' Dan get whacked in the face for 5 minutes as I type the rest of this and I kinda feel bad. Oh well, I bet it gets worse on the cruise ship.

i've thought about doing voice claims for characters before, but the problem is I never hear people. the closest i've done so far is think "heh, it would be funny if Johnnie sounded like dub Koichi", so, that's how I came up with this. (you can actually see part of the clip in the video above since i edited it in a "very normal way" and also didn't make the animation cells the right size.

Imagine uploading all of your Artfight content during the month of July instead of systematically waiting until August to the allure of much spectacle (i simply forgor).

This is EvaDragon's OC Queen Eva, who's a shapeshifter, so I shifted her into a more Silkwing-esque form. I debated making her form closer to how Silkwings are in the books, but since in the end, I just snagged their butterfly wings and antennae. I read through her Toyhouse bio to gather more information on this piece, and it turns out she likes the cold, so that's why I put her in the arctic tundra. TBH, I kinda hate the texture I used on the snow and how it doesn't really add depth to the ground, but in exchange I got those super cool clouds in the back.

And here's a video of the time-lapse. I'll slowly be getting the rest of my ArtFight stuff on here (there's only 2-ish more guys) and then... idk Saturn-drop?

i think it's very interesting how the 80% of The Electric Company (2009) is a latent memory in my brain. Like, no joke, I rewatched an episode for Jack McBrayer reasons, and seeing all of the word segments in between was like waking up a set of sleeper agents---but they're all still a little sleepy so they're a bit fuzzy on all the instructions.

And then there's the entirety of Prankster Planet, which I also saw a video of just now and it's like??? Take me back??

This song feels like a part of that 20% I don't remember, which is frankly a shame since Manny and Danny are absolutely busting it up on this song.

Also this song feels like a retrieval cue for a different song, but I do not know what it is. best I've got is "Answers" by Goldfinger (which I'm adding below for fun), but my brain is not satisfied with that answer, so if you see this, please send any similar sounding songs my way!
