Nah, Dark is not the good guy. But he doesn't need to be.

I think people have interest in him because of his story, his past. Not to mention the fact that he's kinda fusion of a big dumb softie(tm) and a literal magic badass. Dark doesn't need to be a good guy only because there is another douchebag in the story, he just stands as more understandable in terms of the plot. Why do people enjoy a good written "villain"? 'Cause they're fun. They have some "why" behind it. Why does Warfstache has so much fans, if he literally a killer, like, in canon (so, he's even worse than Dark)? Because we know his story. And it's a story, after all. And a good story doesn't have to be about good and bad.

I don’t get people who assume Dark is good like… there can be more then one… villian or morally grey person like just cause Dark is justified and Actor is the big asshole doesn’t mean Dark wouldn’t use use or snap our neck like… Dark is not good, he just hates the same guy as us.  Like if you… hated some dude named todd. and there was another asshole named fred that also hated todd, fred would still be… an asshole that doesn’t clear the asshole trait.  Why we still thinking Dark is soft and uwu and ‘our friend’ like he ain’t. You can go try to be friends with the literal broken people that’s duct taped together with darkness i’ll go not get taken to the Shadow Realm

Imagine: What if aHWM doesn't have 31 endings?

Yeah, I know it can't be right, but just think about it. Mark said he doesn't want people to know the right amount of endings, he wants us to search, to discuss. Just imagine: someone goes through all the endings, finds all 31 and goes to, I dunno, Tumblr. They check the other posts and see something they haven't found. But this other person have all 31 too. It can't be, right? And then it happens again. And again.
