PTSD Rody Soul headcanons⬇️

So well, let's go over the criteria

Traumatic event

He had his silly lovely childhood and suddenly turned out his father was a betrayer. From now on, he had to deal with all of his problems on his own: take care of his siblings, protect them and himself from kidnappers or else, education, and shit. However, he (and Roro&Lala?) got beaten up. And also to mention, his mother, who he was probably attached to, died when he was about Lala's age, I guess, which traumatized him as well.

Avoiding — I guess all of us remember the cave scene and the moment when Rody finally opened up. "I don't need your pity" — he never felt this pity towards him. Scince his dad was gone, nobody ever really let him lean on them, nobody was here for him, and he got used to it, which is why he just couldn't accept Deku's support back then. He felt like if it was wrong.

Triggers / Flashbacks — when he and Deku stayed in the abandoned house/farm(?), he had a dream reminding him back on those days when he was young, and his dad was still by his style, making him feel safe. Those memories could also be recalled by the way Izuku cared for him no matter what. / To be honest, I doubt he told Roro and Lala about his quirk because it would make things complicated, as he hid his emotions and probably made sure his siblings won't ever feel bad about their life. And if I'm right, Izuku is the first and the only person who gets to know what Rody's quirk is. And we all know he's a fcking liar hiding his emotions, but also because he doesn't want people to see him.sad, upset, or else, so they won't try to talk to him about shit (as if anyone cared /j)

Negativity — thanks to Pino, we can see how mad Rody felt over Stenlyk's comment, just at the beginning of the film, and when he asked to check on the siblings as well. It's clear that his life is not nice and sweet and all, and yet, it's a peace of cake to make him feel annoyed. For example, when he blamed Izuku in the whole police-and-villian-chase after them
