Summary: Billy’s family doesn’t really do holiday’s. Not like most families at least. So why not join in and see how his girlfriends family celebrates them. He was invited after all.

Authors Note: Don’t ask me why pretty much all my holiday imagines end up being “Billy Hargrove” imagines. Because I don’t know why it ends up that way. I think it’s because the character just ends up working perfectly for my idea of the story.

P.S - Easter is a religious holiday so if that’s a warning them there you go. Warned, but I only really mention that they go to church not any views or etc…

“I’m so glad you came.” Y/n smiled at Billy as she opened the front door to let him in.

“I wanted to see how you do Easter. I’m sure it’s a hell of a lot different than how it’s been done in my family.” BIlly shrugged putting his hands in his pockets as he entered her home.

“Well, my little sister isn’t up yet. So no eggs have been hunted, and no basket’s touched.” Y/n told him excitedly, closing the door behind him, pulling him into the living room. “Mom made you a basket too.”

Billy looked at her in shock. “She didn't have to do that.”

“She wanted to.” Y/n smiled reassuring him that it was okay, Y/n reached out for his hand and squeezed. And it did.

“So how’s Easter so far?” Y/n asked, nudging him with her arm as they sat next to each other on the couch.

“I’m shockingly enjoying it.” Billy smiled at her. He was enjoying it, more than he thought he would. Watching Y/n help her little sister hunt for egg’s and they even did egg’s filled with treats for the dog’s. Her mom was even nice enough to put together a basket for him like Y/n said. Filled with different chocolates and some other stuff.

“I’m glad.” Y/n nodded with a smile also on her face.

“Billy, hunny. We’re going to church in an hour for Easter service. You can stay here if you want. Catch up on some sleep I’m sure.” Y/n’s mom offered not wanting to force the young man to join them.

“Actually…” Billy stopped Y/n from getting up from the couch and her mom from leaving he says with hopeful eyes. He actually wanted to go, he hadn’t been since his mom was around. Hence the necklace. “I’d like to join you all. If that’s ok.”

Y/n turned to look at him, trying not to show her shock. “Of course it is baby.”

“Great. We leave soon.” Y/m/n sent a smile the boys way before going to finish getting ready and help her younger child and their cousins as well.

“Are you ok?” Y/n asked once they headed up to her room for some privacy.

“Yeah. Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” Billy nodded, not sure why it seemed to be a big deal.

Y/n shook her head side to side not wanting him to think she didn’t want him to come. “Just checking. I mean, have you ever been to church before?”

Billy thought for a moment but he trusted Y/n. So maybe he should share a little more of himself with her. She knew more than most people anyway.

“Back with my mom. When I was younger. I remember what I learned there. It’s always stuck with me.” Billy told her thinking back on his childhood, the few good memories he has.

“Does that have to do with the pendant?” Y/n asked curious since he was in a sharing mood. Moving across the room to stand in front of him as he currently sits on her bed.

“Yeah. It was my mom’s, she gave it to me. It always reminds me of her, and that one day I might see her again… Thank you. For inviting me to celebrate Easter with you and your family.” Billy explained, resting his hands on her hips as she played with the pendant around his neck.

“Billy, you’re part of my family. I’m glad you enjoyed it.” Y/n smiled happily running her hands over his shoulders.

“I’ll always enjoy every day of any life as long as you're in it.” He stated pulling her to fall on top of him laying back on her bed, and the two started to passionately make out. After all, they had some time before church.

“Are they going to be okay?” Sam asked out loud to the people around them as they all turned to look where Sam was looking. And there by the lake were the two teen’s most affected by Tony’s death.

“I sure hope so.” Steve sighed sadly as they watched Y/n and Peter from afar.

“At least they can lean on each other.” Bucky pointed out. He felt really bad for Y/n. She was always kind to him and while he was gone due to the snap Y/n had.

“He lost his mentor and she lot her father. Granted for the first 8 years of her life Tony was pretty absent. But once he became Iron Man he was there for her as much as he could be. Even canceling things to spend time with her.” Pepper told them with a watery smile as she watched the girl that became like a daughter to her.

“Peter lost his parents young. Then was moved into the custody of May and his uncle. But not long after his uncle passed. Tony was more than a mentor to him.” Happy added with a tight sad smile.

Sam shook his head, running a hand down his face. “These kids have been through enough.”

“Agreed.” Bucky nodded and it shocked Sam and Bucky that they agreed on something. Shocked the other’s as well, but not as much as normal considering the topic and they all knew Y/n was pretty close to Bucky. And they could all agree with Sam.

Over by the water down at the edge of the lake. Y/n and Peter stood together looking out towards the water. It was peaceful.

“I’m sorry, Peter.” Y/n said to him as she leant her head on his shoulder. Y/n knew her dad meant more to Peter than just a friend or mentor. So she knew it had to be hard for him.

“I’m sorry too, Y/n. He was your father.” Peter spoke, wrapping his arm around her shoulders to comfort her.

“He acted like one to you as well.” She squeezed his hand and nuzzled her head into his neck. “At least you knew the best version of him.” 

Peter grimaces a little. “I guess it sucks that he wasn’t always so close to you huh?”

Y/n nodded with a sad smile on her lips. “Yeah, it did. But he more than made up for it.”

Peter smiled at that. Knowing how good the father and daughter relationship had gotten over the years.

“I believe he loved you more than anything. You and Morgan.” Peter pointed out while placing a kiss on her temple.

“Me too. And I think you can include yourself in that as well. He saw you as a son.” Y/n sighs contently. They both turned their heads to look at each other with small smiles.

“What are you doing?” Y/n asked as she walks into their shared room seeing him packing his duffle.

“Y/n-” John turned around not knowing what to say.

“You're leaving.” Y/n states when he doesn’t say anything, eyes not leaving his packed duffle.

“I’m sorry. But I have to go. I don’t belong here.” He tells her with tears welling up in his eyes.

“You're going to join Magento and his brotherhood, aren’t you?” Y/n looked at him with tears rolling down her cheeks.

“Yes.” John nodded.

“I’ll miss you.” Y/n’s voice broke as more tears rolled down her cheeks.

John rushed over to her and cupped her cheeks brushing her tears away with his thumbs. “I’ll miss you too. More than anything. But-”

“You can’t stay. I get it.” Y/n nodded as they embraced each other into a tight hug.

“We’ll see eachother again.” John promised as they parted from their hug.

“I hope so.” Y/n gave him a sad but hopeful smile.

“We will. I love you.” John placed one last kiss for now on her forehead before he grabbed his bag and left. Hoping when everything was over they’d see each other again. He’d protect her, even if they are on opposite sides.

“Oh look, it's hot head.” A boy said coming up near where Y/n was admiring the nature at the mansion.

“Can you keep your temper under control or should the school be evacuated?” One of the girls in this group said. It was the same group that had been bullying her for a while.

“You gonna blow your top?” A different boy laughed.

“You should just leave.” The first boy added.

“Do us all a favor and blow yourself up.” Another girl scoffed glaring at Y/n.

After the bullies left when Y/n flashed her eyes red to scare them off, when she turned she saw Peter.

“H-How long have you been standing there?” Y/n stuttered.

“Long enough.” Peter said with a sad expression, he walked closer to her shaking his head. “Don’t listen to them.”

Y/n shrugged, looking down to her feet. “Hard not to. They do it every day.”

“Have you told anyone?” Peter asked, grabbing her hands in his.

“It’ll just make it worse.” Y/n shakes her head.

Peter sighed, he decided then and there he was going to do something about it.

“I think powers are extraordinary.” He told her putting his forehead against hers.

“I make explosions Peter. That’s not extraordinary that’s dangerous.” Y/n said with a defeated tone and expression.

“Y/n-”

“I’m a ticking time bomb.” Y/n cuts him off.

“Your a gorgeous, in control, ticking time bomb.” Peter smiled, getting her to laugh with his humor. “You're important to me and I believe you have one of the most important mutations of all.”

Y/n smiled looking up into his eyes. “You always make me feel good enough.”

Peter smiled back at her pulling her into a hug. “That's the goal.”

“Come one Loki. Join us.” Thor smiled, trying to get him to join them later. Get his brother to socialize.

“I’d rather not.” Loki rolled his eyes.

“What if I told you Y/n would be there?” Thor smirked knowing his brother has a crush on the Y/h/c-ed girl Avenger.

“Will she truly be there or are you just trying to get me to go?” Loki questioned his brother with a raised brow in suspension.

“She’ll be there.” Thor smirked at his brother openly, having caught Loki in his want to be around the young lady Y/n.

Thor left Loki there in the kitchen to think about whether or not he’d join them all tonight.

Later that night when the whole team got together for game night Loki did in fact show up. He stayed in the kitchen till Y/n eventually showed up. When he saw her enter the kitchen and open the fridge, likely to get a drink. That’s when Loki moved to follow her.

“Hey Loki.” Y/n greeted him once she turned back around and noticed him.

“Y/n.” Loki greeted back with his signature smile.

“You came.” Y/n smiled tilting her head happy to see the green wearing Norse God join them for once.

“Only because you were gonna be here.” Loki smirked, closing in on her, backing her into a corner of the kitchen.

“Oh really?” She raised her brows in amusement hiding her shock at him openly flirting with her. It’s not like Y/n didn’t like him back, she does but he’s never done anything till now.

“You're the only one on this stupid planet that doesn’t annoy me. You're also the only one in this room that doesn’t annoy me as well.” Loki tilted his head down to be even closer to her into the corner of the kitchen. They were close enough to feel each other's breath on the other’s face.

“I’m honored.” Y/n smirked before stealing a kiss leaving a shocked, dumbfounded Loki in her wake.
