“Jay” Carlos nudged his long haired friend with his elbow

“Hmmm” Jay hummed in acknowledgment but not even glancing to see what his friend wanted from him.

“Look over to your right” Carlos told him, still elbowing him.

“Why?” Jay asked in an annoyed tone due to Carlos’ bugging

“Your crush is there.” Mal smirked not looking up as well

“I don’t have a crush” Jay grumbled

Mal scoffed looking up as Jay did. “Then what do you call you infatuation with Cinderella’s daughter?”

“I tease her. Flirt with her its nothing.” Jay stated with a shrug of his shoulders 

“You enjoy it” Evie pointed out

“And not for menacing reasons” Mal added

Jay sighed “Can we drop this?”

“NO” Mal, Evie, and Carlos all said at the same time loudly.

“Fine, um. Yes, ok. I like her or at least I think I do. We never got these kinds of feelings back on the Isle. But I do, I really do believe that I love her.” Jay explained how he felt, or at least how he thinks he feels.

Evie smiled “You should tell her.”

“And nows your chance.” Carlos butted in

“What?” Jay quickly turned to look around, taking a quick glance to where his friends said she was.

“She’s right over there.” Evie pointed subtly towards where the daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming’s (Now King) daughter stood talking with her best friend The daughter of Ariel and Prince (Again Now King) Eric and her brother Chad. Well till her brother Chad stormed off with what looked like a pissed-off expression.

“Go get the girl.” Mal nodded towards the girl but kept eye contact with Jay.

Jay shook his head slightly panicked ”What? No. I’m not ready to do that.”

“Yes, you are.” Carlos encouraged

“Because we say you are” Mal added

“So you’re gonna go and tell her how you feel.” Evie smiled excitedly for her friend, Jay of all people to have someone to love as they all have.

“An see if she feels the same way.” Carlos rubbed Jay’s shoulder in support before continuing. “An if she doesn’t then at least you tired.”

“At least you’ll know to.” Mal spoke softly, not wanting to ruin any hope he might have.

“But I’m pretty sure she ikes you back.” Evie excitedly

“Really?” Jay asked with slight excitement in his eyes

“YES!” the 3 of them screamed but not loudly enough to get the two princesses’ attention.

“Now go!” Mal shooed him

“Ok, ok. Fine.” Jay relented and got up and walked over towards his crush.

“Hey, Y/n.” Jay greeted once he was close enough for her to hear without having to yell.

“Hello, Jay.” Y/n smiled at him. Upon seeing Jay’s arrival Y/n’s best friend gave a knowing smile before leaving the princess and the young ex-thief alone.

“Nervous actually.” Jay admitted

Y/n raised an eyebrow “You nervous?” What ever for?”

“Haha princess” he teased

“What’s wrong Jay? Seriously.” Y/n asked with a less playful attitude

Jay took a deep breath “I have something to ask you.”

“Oh really”

The thought of telling Y/n about his feelings is very nerve-racking. Maybe he could stall, flirting could work. “You look mighty beautiful today”

“Thank you” Y/n blushed but also felt a little confused. She thought he would’ve meant he was gonna tell her something that was worthy of his so-called nerves.

Jay smirked feeling more comfortable. Then he decided to lean in next to her ear. “Your dress is stunning- but I do think it would look better on my bedro-”

Y/n leaned back enough to look at his face, lightly slapping his chest. “You finish that and I swear Jay-”

“You’ll do what princess? I’d love to hear how you would make me stop talking.” Jay wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

“Jay!” she squealed

“Am I making you blush princess?” Jay teased

“Yes” she nodded immediately

Jay nodded confidently “Good. That was the plan.”

“Well, if we’re done here I guess I’ll be going now.” Y/n said starting to turn away to leave.

“No” Jay rushed out, stopping her from leaving. “That’s not why I came over here.”

“Oh?” she questioned, Y/n was hoping there would be more.

“I come over here to get your opinion on something.” he stated vaguely

Y/n turned to fully face the son of Jafar singling for him to continue. “Ok. Go ahead and ask what you wanna ask Jay.”

“How.. How do you feel about me?” Jay asked with a wobbly voice.

“Like- friend wise or…” Y/n questioned, shifting on her feet.

“Or more?” he added but it still came out as a question.

“Oh…”

“If you don’t it’s fine.”

“No! Jay, it wasn’t that kind of ‘oh’” Y/n cut in quickly

“Oh?” that answer perked Jay up

“We should probably get off the ‘ohs’” the princess joked

“Yeah” he laughed

“So you’re asking me if I like like you correct?” Y/n asked for final clarity. An teasing him for his earlier flirting.

“Y-yeah” Jay stuttered

“Well, Jay of the Isle.” Y/n smiled playfully, lightening the anxious atmosphere. “Yes. I do like like you.”

Jay’s eyes widened and his jaw dropped. He couldn’t believe that she just said she liked him back to his face. “Really?”

Y/n blushed even harder than she already was, with a big smile on her face. A hint of embarrassment as well at what she was about to admit. “Jay I’ve had a crush on you for a while now.”

“Seriously?” Jay asked, again. Still in shock from her confession.

“Am I gonna have to spell it out for you?” she laughed but it was full of obvious nerves

Jay recovered from his initial shock before continuing. “NO, your not. But can I show you my response?”

“Sure.” Y/n agreed no problem. That’s when Jay started leaning in. “Wait, Jay what are you-” she started to quickly as Jay wrapped his right arm around her waist. Tugging her closer. Lifting his left arm up to cup her cheek, pulling her in and kissing her.

“That show you how I feel?” Jay asked once he broke the kiss. Resting his forehead against hers.

“Defifently.” Y/n nodded in agreement

“Good.” Jay smiled leaning back in to continue the kiss.

Summary: At Tommy’s Halloween party a certain couple talks about their secret relationship. Will they decide to tell everyone or will insecurities get in the way?

Authors Note: So basically I just wanted to be able to post a Halloween Imagine on Halloween. So I wrote this which I personally thought would be short but just the dialog ended up being on paper 9 pages (ten on google docs), then adding all the details and etc etc it filled up. This ended up longer than I thought it would be but I’ll never complain about that haha. I wanted to be able to post something on this holiday and I’m proud of this. I chose Stranger Things for the Halloween Imagine cause they actually go through the holiday in the show so perfect. Thank You and Happy Halloween

“Come on Y/n/n. Cheer up.” Steve spoke from upfront in the driver’s seat after having been glancing back at his sister for the hundredth time. In the last 8-minute car ride.

“It’s a party, you love parties.” Nancy added giving Y/n a quick smile and glance from the passenger’s seat. Y/n appreciated their worry but it’s not like she could tell them why she wasn’t herself.

“It just wasn’t a good day ok? I’ll cheer up once we get there. Promise.” Y/n told them from the backseat. She just couldn’t wait till they got to Tommy’s Halloween Party, then she could get out of the car and go find the person she’s been missing all day.

Once they arrived at the party Steve, Nancy, and Y/n separated. She left her brother to have some time alone with Nancy. All the while Y/n went in search of a certain person. The party was already practically full so it was a little harder to find anyone. 

Luckily enough for Y/n the person she was in the process of looking for had already spotted her and was heading over towards her.

When Billy reached Y/n he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her back into his chest. Y/n let out a squeal of surprise. Billy leaned his head down a bit and started off kissing along her neck and shoulders. Before he decided to get a bigger reaction out of her and bite down on her neck. “WHAT THE HELL BILLY!”

“Just wanted to surprise my girl.” Billy mumbled into her hair as he kissed the top of her head, as he chuckled a bit at the reaction he got.

“By biting my neck?” Y/n asked turning her head to look at him with an amused look.

“Oh yeah, I’m totally into cannibalism.” Billy nodded, speaking with a totally serious face and tone. Y/n broke out into a smile and laughter, Billy ended up breaking and joined in.

“You’re so weird, and cute at the same time.” Y/n shook her head at Billy’s antics as she turned her whole body to face him.

“Thank you” Billy smirked proudly.

Y/n shook her head and chuckled “That was really only half a compliment.”

Billy’s smirk turned into a smile and he hummed before answering. “Considering you love both of those qualities about me, the whole thing is a compliment, Sweetheart.” The couple laughed softly at his statement, knowing it was completely true. After the two both calmed down the laughter Billy decided to ask the question he was pretty sure he already knew the answer to but it still was bothering him. “Your brother come tonight?”

Y/n looked up at her boyfriend, already knowing where this is coming from on his part. She nodded ‘yes’ while answering. “Yes. He drove me.”

Billy hummed, nodding to show he heard. Billy ran his tongue along his teeth, hanging his head before speaking. “I wish you would have let me drive you.”

“Billy. . .” Y/n sighed

“I know, I know.” He nodded already knowing where this would go. Where it goes every time.

“You didn’t want him to find out either.” Y/n pointed out to him, poking him in the chest.

“I know, it just sucks.” Billy admitted

“I agree.” Y/n agreed leaning her head against his chest with a sigh. “Maybe we should say screw it.” With that statement, Billy burst out in laughter as if that was the funniest thing he had heard all night. Y/n pulled out of his warm embrace to look at him. “I’m being serious Billy.” Y/n smacked him hard across the chest.

“Ouch” he chuckled, rubbing his chest that was turning red in the spot that she had hit. But it wasn’t hard enough to bruise. Both of them knew that. Billy forced his attention back on Y/n. “You’d be a lot more intimidating if you weren’t dressed like that.”  Billy tilted his head sucking in a breath looking Y/n up and down, checking her out. Billy reached out to take her hips but Y/n moved a few steps back out of his reach.

Y/n smirked up at him and raised a brow. “Oh, so you like my costume?”

Billy nodded a little quickly, but he definitely likes it. “It’s fucking sexy.”

“Hmmm, so is yours.” Y/n hummed sizing up her boyfriend, who of course chose a costume that showed off his chest. Which Y/n love’s but right now she was trying to have a serious conversation about the topic at hand. “But I was being serious, Hargrove.”

“Oh so we’re back to last names, Harrington?” Billy smirked

Y/n sighed in defeat giving Billy her best puppy dog look. “Billy be serious for a few minutes, please.”

Billy gave a slight nod before surveying the house. He grabbed her hand and lead her to a more private area to talk about this. “Ok, ok. Tell your brother were together?”

“Yes” Y/n nodded

“Babe, we both know for a fact he’s gonna think I’ve just been using you to piss him off. Now that’s never been why, and I’ve tryed to make that clear in our relationship to you the best I can. The thought of your brother figuring out or telling him, in the beginning, was a bonus. To piss him off like that. Him having to deal with his sister dating his enemy. Priceless.” Billy stated as they entered an empty guest room. He sighed running a hand through his hair in frustration before continuing on with his explanation. “But now its different. Now I don’t want it to piss him off. Not on purpose at least. I’m serious about this. About us.”

Y/n smiled at him, her eyes filled with adoration. “I know, Billy. I’m serious about this too.”

“I just don’t want to lose you. Especially over something like that.” He admitted with a shake of his head. Billy did not want to lose her.

“You won’t lose me, Billy. I promise.” Y/n spoke gently but still with a firm tone so he would know she meant it, with all her heart. She rushed over to him cupping the sides of his face, stroking his fingers gently across his cheeks.

“Don’t get me wrong, Y/n. I would like nothing more than to tell your brother- tell everyone. I want to show you off, that your mine, to all the world. But I don’t want to ruin this.” Billy pointed between them towards the end, for emphasis. He scoffed at himself and the situation as he took a step back and sat down on the bed.

“No one will take what we have, Billy. I promise. Not my brother, not Tommy, Carol, Nancy, your father. No one.” Y/n stated as she took a step back as well, so she stood between his legs. Y/n’s hands were leaving Billy. “So what’d you say?” Y/n asked moving her left hand to cup the back of his neck and right hand down to intertwine their hands together.

“We can tell everyone. I’ll fight for us if anything happens.” Billy nodded, agreeing to let their relationship be known to the rest of Hawkins. They have both been wanting to since the begging but the two also knew it’d be better if they waited. Well, no more waiting.

“Me too.” Y/n agreed biting her lip, trying to contain her excitement.

“My fathers getting nowhere near what we have though.” Billy stated with hard eyes and voice. He was never gonna let his abusive, asshole father anywhere near his girl, or their relationship.

Y/n nodded in agreement, absolutely understanding where he was coming from. “I completely understand that.”

“Wanna go tell everyone now?” Billy asked wiggling his eyebrows while moving his unoccupied hand to hold her hip.

“Huh?” Y/n tilted her head, mouth open and eye wide in shock.

“Well, everyone from school is here tonight- or at least most of them.” He pointed out. But Y/n was still in a little shock. Normally having this conversation was like pulling teeth. An with how this one started off she thought it was gonna go that same way, but it didn’t. Y/n let out a series of small laughs which made him ask. “What?”

Y/n shook her head. “Nothing just. You went from not really wanting to, to wanting to tonight.”

Billy smirked pulling her closer with a tug, making her fall into him. “If we’re gonna do this we need to do this with a bang.”

“Wait, Billy.” Y/n pulled away to look at him as much as his grip would let her.

“Yeah?”

“You still want to drive me?” she asked amused but also hoping he still did want to drive her.

Billy nodded “‘course. Why?”

“Well, once we announce our relationship I don’t think Steve’s gonna wanna take me home. Or drive me anywhere for a while.” Y/n bit her lip giving him a mischievous smile.

“I’d drive you everywhere and anywhere if you’d let me.” Billy mirrored her smile before pulling her in for a kiss. They deserve to enjoy the last few minutes of their secret before the inevitable happens.

“Draco!” Goyle yelled at his friend, trying to get his attention.

“What?” Draco asked snapping his attention back towards his friends.

“We’ve been trying to get your attention for a while.” Crabble explained to an annoyed Malfoy.

Goyle nodded in agreement to said explanation. “You were staring again.” He gave Draco a knowing but also teasing look.

Draco narrowed his eyes at the two other slytherins before shaking his head in disagreement. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

“Yes, you do.” Crabble laughed

Goyle smiled “She’s beautiful. We can all see it. Hell, anyone with eyes can see it.”

“So why don’t you go over and ask her out instead of just admiring?” Crabble added to Goyle’s statement.

“I can not.” Draco sighed

“If it’s because she’s a Hufflepuff just like her brother I swear Malfoy-” Goyle grumbled, before getting cut off.

Draco shook his head ‘no’. “It’s not because of that.”

“If it’s because of your parents, Draco-” Crabble started

“Not them either. I could care less about either of those things when it comes to her.” Draco spoke while taking another glance towards the younger Diggory sibling.

“Then whats keeping you from her? From getting the girl.” Goyle asked, both boys now confused at what was holding their friend back.

“Well for one, Cedric. Her brother is extremely protective of her.” Draco growled but at the same time, he understood the sibling thing.

“He’s her brother. He’s going to be protective of her.” Crabble stated.

“What’s the other reasons?” Goyle asked spurious to see if the Draco Malfoy could come up with anything else.

“Why would she want to be with me? With the way, I’ve treated people, and being Slytherin.” Draco asked although it came out more like a statement.

“Seriously?” Crabble asked in shock really, of his friends stupidly.

“Those are your reasons?” Goyle asked, but then scoffed shaking his head in disbelief. “Malfoy, you watch her enough to know her pretty well.”

Crabble nodded in agreement with Goyle. “For someone who hasn’t said more than a few words to the girl.”

“My point is, you know how she reacts to things. To people. Do you really think that she would judge you on rumors and how bad you use to be? Let alone the fact that your Slytherin? You know she would never judge you for that either.” Goyle stated, staring the Malfoy boy straight in the eyes.

Draco sighed “Others will judge her because of me.”

“If you both fall in love with eachother do you really think she’d care about that?” Crabble asked, already knowing the answer.

“She won’t care and you know it! And that’s what scares you.” Goyle spoke in a stern voice, poking Draco in the chest.

“Are you two done?” Draco shoved Goyle’s hand away and grumbled under his breath at the two idiots he considers friends. Even though he knows they’re correct.

“Oh! I’m so sorry!” Y/n exclaimed as she bent down to pick up her books and gather her other belongings that had spilled.

“It’s ok, Y/n.” Draco waved it off before bending down to help her collect her things.

“Are you coming to class? I didn’t think you had potions on Wednesdays?” Y/n asked glancing up at the boy across from her, recognizing just by his voice alone it was Draco.

“I-I didn’t, but they moved me to Wednesdays for reasons I was not told of.” Draco stuttered a bit answering her question.

Y/n added smiling at the Slytherin boy “Ah, well I’m glad your in it, now.”

“Really?” Draco asked curiously.

“Yeah. Hey, say would you like to sit together?” Y/n added trying to hide her blush.

Draco smiled before expecting her offer. “Uh-uh sure. Yeah, I’d like that.”

With that the two-headed off to class together. Maybe this could be the in Draco needed.

It was a couple of weeks later when Draco, Goyle, and Crabble were walking down the halls when a certain Hufflepuff yelled out.

“Malfoy!” Cedric yelled down the slightly busy hallway.

“Bollocks.” Crabble cursed

“Bye mate.” Goyle stated as he and Crabble left the hallway as fast as they could, just like everyone else.

“Hello, Diggory.” Draco sighed as he turned to face the older wizard.

“What are you planning with my sister?” Cedric spoke, standing as intimidating as possible.

“What are you talking about?” Draco asked with an annoyed tone. Clearly not in the mood to be questioned about his intentions.

Cedric let out a sigh before answering. “I’ve heard about you Draco, now I’m not one to judge but I’ll protect my sister. No matter what. Even if it’s from someone that she really cares about.”

“You can not just keep us apart!” Draco took a deep breath to calm himself so his outburst doesn’t happen again. “I know I haven’t been the best person, and I know the rumors about me. But I promise you Cedric I have only the purest intentions for Y/n.”

“You better, Malfoy.” Cedric sighed hoping that his sister wouldn’t have to experience heartbreak. An hoping Draco meant what he said.

“Hey, I heard Cedric talked to you. Is everything ok?” Y/n asked as she approached Draco outside the castle grounds.

“Everythings fine, Love.” Draco waved his hand at her concerns.

“Are you sure?” She asked again.

Draco nodded “yeah. He was just worried.”

“About what?” Y/n tilted her head

“Me, and you. Together.” he smiled brushing some of her Y/h/c hair behind her ear.

Y/n shook her head “I’m gonna-”

“Don’t. He has a right to be.” He shook his head slightly, in understanding.

“No, he doesn’t. You’re nothing like what people say Draco.” Y/n smiled at him knowingly.

“He doesn’t know that. I don’t mind Y/n. As long as I have you i do not care what others think or say.” Draco explained before continuing on with grabbing his bag like he was before Y/n came down from the castle. An they headed off on their date, leaving the conversation at that. For now.
