“So your back” Peter stated coming down the spiral staircase.

“It’s not your place Peter. I’m allowed to be here.” Y/n looked at Peter smiling.

“Knock it off.” Derek told Peter

Peter huffed “why is she back?”

Derek just shrugged and smiled “Because I want her here.”

“Why do you care? It’s not your place.” Y/n asked raising an eyebrow in question.

Peter got fed up with the two, not wanting to be questioned or answer any so he continued on his way and left the loft. Which only resulted in Derek smirking at Y/n.

“Oh stop” Y/n shook her head looking back to Derek’s book on her lap

“I told you. I think he likes you.” Derek smiled moving to sit down next to her.

Y/n scoffed flipping to the next page “he hates me.”

Derek shook his head smiling. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders. “No, he likes you. I have only seen him act like he acts around you with one other girl. Look as much as I don’t like the idea of you and him. He does like you.”

“Your my father you should know better than to go into my head!” Y/n yelled walking away from her father, out of his office. She still couldn’t believe he did that.

“Don’t you think you're being a little over dramatic about this?” Charles asked following his daughter through the mansion.

“No!” she raised her hands, not believing fully that he really just asked that.

“Y/n -” he started

“Just leave me alone!” Y/n let out a frustrated sigh. Before heading up the stairs to her room. Charles could see Warren follow her from where he was watching at the bottom of the stairs. He could tell Warren heard some of the conversation by the look he gave Y/n.

“What’s wrong with Y/n?” Erik asked approaching his forehead after hearing the yelling.

Charles sighed “I thought she was hiding something so I went into her thoughts to find out what, and she just freaked out.”

Erik leaned his head back before stating “Charles, I’m hoping you know what you did was wrong.”

“I tried asking and she wouldn’t tell me what was going on.” he tried to defend his actions.

“Did you think maybe she didn’t feel comfortable telling you what was on her mind?” Erik proposed the idea that he imagined didn’t come across Charles’s mind.

“Well after finding out from going in her mind what she was keeping I can definitely say that your right.” Charles responded, with a disgusted look on his face as he finished talking.

“You need to apologize to your daughter.” Erik stated sternly

“Yeah, probably.” Charles mumbled

Erik shook his head “No, definitely.” he sighed. “But wait a couple of hours. Let her calm down.” He added looking at him pointedly.

“It wasn’t my best idea.” Charles admitted

“No disagreeing here.” Erik said patting his friend’s shoulder before leaving him.

“What do you want now?” Y/n groaned closing her locker

“Why so hostile?” Jackson asked, leaning against the lockers next to her.

“Have you met your self?” she looked at the jock with a confused tilt of her head.

“You know most girls would kill to have me talking to them.” Jackson just rolled his eyes, looking at her expecting.

“Well, I’m not most girls.” Y/n smiled before leaving him by her locker. Watching her walk down the hallway, Jackson couldn’t decide whether or not he hated her or really likes her.

“You know she hates you right” Danny stated coming up next to his friend.

Jackson scoffed “How can she hate me?”

Dany laughed, there are few times/next to none where his friend liked a girl this much. “Dude, you know who her cousin is right?”

“No” Jackson turned to look at his friend for the answer

“Her cousin is Stiles” Danny stated

Jackson turned to face his friend fully this time. “As in Stilinski? Stiles Stilinski?”

“Yeah. and you don’t treat him nicely.”

“Well he’s-” he starts but even without seeing the look on Danny’s face he knew he doesn’t have a good reason why he picks on Stilinski.

“Doesn’t matter, he’s her family and you treat him like crap. So unless you change how you treat him she’s still gonna hate you.” he pated Jacksons back before heading off to class.

Now Jackson has a dilemma. Should he try being nice to Stiles to get the girl?

“Ok, I have to ask about the elephant in the room.” Elijah states as he set’s down his utensils and napkin

“And what would that be brother?” Klaus asks doing the same

“Why does it seem Dear Y/n that you would rather be anywhere but here? I do remember we left off on a good note.” Elijah asked turning to look at the girl who had become like a sister to him before his brother daggered him.

“Oh I’m sorry uh you’ve missed so much-” Klaus laughed, answering before Y/n had the chance.

“I’m pissed off at him.” Y/n cut in speaking sternly. Glaring at Klaus.

Elijah gave an confused look “Why, must that be my Dear?”

“Because-” she strated but Klaus chimed in

“Minor offense on my part” Klaus spoke trying not to laugh

She raised her eyebrows in shock “Minor?”

Klaus smiled “yes”

“You consider killing my descendants family a minor offense.” she growled pissed off and hurt. At hearing this Elijah looked over towards his brother shocked. Klaus last time Elijah had seen loved Y/n very very much. To much to do such a thing. He knew how much Y/n cared about the family she use to have and all her descendants. 

“Yes-” Klaus continued to laugh not understanding why she was still so upset about it.

“No. Killing my great-granddaughter, her kids and their kids in NOT a minor offense on your part.” she practically growled

“I don’t see the problem.” Klaus scoffed shaking his head

“Niklaus, surely you can understand why shes mad.” Elijah sighed, looking over to his brother.

“He doesn’t Elijah. He did it about a week ago and he still thinks its funny.” Y/n said with a tight smile

“Have you told him how what he did affects you?” Elijah turned to ask her

“Why should I? He thinks what he did is funny.” Y/n sighed, hoping her voice didn’t crack to much. Then she got up to leave. But before she did she said “I’m sorry Lijah. I can’t do this. I am so glad the Salvatore boys undaggered you. I’ve missed you being around. But, he doesn’t get it. He doesn’t get why it upsets me. An he doesn’t want to try, he thinks I’m being dramatic.”

“Niklaus, do you really not see how what you did was wrong? How hurt she is?” Elijah asked after Y/n left the room. “I know that no matter how much time passes you love that woman. So why would you hurt her like that?” Elijah asked Klaus before getting up to leave his brother to his own thoughts.

Later that night Klaus knocked on the door before opening it and entering their shared room.

“What” Y/n asked looking over to see who entered before rolling her eyes and looking away

“I came to talk” Klaus spoke coming to sit next to her on the bed

“Why” she muttered annoyed

“Am I only gonna get one-worded answers?” Klaus joked trying to lighten the mood

“Depends” Y/n states looking over to him again

“On what” he began

“On what you want to talk about” she looked down to her lap

“Well, I would like to talk about what I did. And how you feel.” Klaus muttered looking down to

“What about it?” she questions still not looking at him

“I shouldn’t have done it.”

“Elijah talk some sense into you?” Y/n scoffed

“Yes, but I knew it was wrong. I was just pissed at you for siding with Damon. I’ll never admit it to anyone but I was wrong to be so jealous and do what I did.” Klaus explained

“You can’t even say it.” her voice cracking

Klaus sighed, looking at her “I killed your bloodline. I killed your only living relatives.”

“All because you were jealous. You know you never have anything to be jealous of.” Y/n looked him in the eyes

“I know. I was hoping after I realized what I did you wouldn’t be this upset but I figured you would be.” he cast his eyes down

Y/n sighed “I’m upset with you. But I’m more upset at myself.

“Why?” Klaus asked concerned, moving impossibly closer

“Because what you did hurt me. . .But I still love you.” she hung her head as some tears escaped her eyes.

“Love, I am so sorry I did that to you.” he pulled her into him in a tight hold

“I can’t forget it. I don’t want to forgive you for it but I want to move on.” Y/n stuttered grabbing on to his shirt

“I/m gonna spend as long as it takes- centuries even to get you to forgive me. To make it up to you. I promise.” Klaus promised rocking her in his arms.

While Elijah watched the two through the cracked door.

The minute she said that Jess instantly felt bad.

“No. I need to go home.” she scoffed and left him standing in front of ‘Lukes’.

“Y/n wait-.” Jess tried again but she was already gone.

“What’d you do?” Luke asked as he saw Jess enter the diner

“Aw, come on Jess. Maybe we can help.” Lorelai added into the conversation taking a sip of her coffee

Lucien’s smirk fell instantly “oh….crap.”
