“So Deaton do you know why there like this?” Scott asked his father figure as he examined my eyes.

“I might have a couple theories” he said, not in a very convincingly though

“Shouldn’t they have turned fully red” Stiles asked

“Yes, they should have” Deaton replied, shining a light in my eyes

“Well then why didn’t they?” Stiles asked in an exaggerated tone

“Stiles” Scott said forcefully towards Stiles with the look that said ‘shut up’.

“What?! I’m just asking what we’re all thinking.” Stiles pointed out, and practically yelled.

“Stiles, Scott just means it’s not helping.” I said to Stiles with a small smile on my lips

“I don’t know why. They are both colors it doesn’t make sense.” Deaton explained.

“How can I be a true alpha anyway? Aren’t they rae? The world already has Scott as one it doesn’t need me. Plus my wolf eyes are blue and we all know what that means. I can’t be a true Alpha.” I stuttered out nervously.

“I will look into it. I’ll also look into my theories, but till them I’m afraid we’ve got nothing.” he said before walking away

“Thanks Deaton.” Me and and scott said at the same time. Before he left the room. Stiles left to go after Deaton not wanting to leave with no information. Leaving me and Scott alone in the room.

“What are we going to do Scott? I-I can’t be a true alpha. I can’t.”

I am scared. I don’t want the responsibility of being a true alpha. I can’t be one I’ve killed two innocencents. It’s not possible.

“Baby we will figure this out ok? Even if you are a true alpha, that's an amazing thing. It also means that your eyes being blue isn’t a bad thing.” Scott spoke in a reassuring tone trying to ease me nerves.

“Scott I don’t want to be a true alpha.And my eyes Scott, I’m ok with them being blue because of how they became that way. I am glad that I could put my mom and little sister out of there pain. I wear my blue eyes with pride. I don’t want to lose them.” tears slipped out my eyes.

“Maybe that’s why they are both colors.”

“My eyes being blue is the only thing I have of either of them I can’t lose that.” I told him looking him in the eyes. He cupped my face wiping the tears away.

“You won’t. They will always be with you. In here.” he put his hand over my heart looking me straight in the eyes “Come on let's go home get some rest. You can stay over.” he helped me down from the exam table as we left the vets.

Being Derek Hales Mate (Headcanon)

When Derek found out about you he completely ignored you

The last thing I remember was I was searching for my keys in my bag. Then I felt someone come up behind me. But before I could turn around, suddenly there was a cloth over my mouth. My vision started getting black spots then the next thing I know is I’m completely blacked out. I know I fell into someone's arms. An they have to be supernatural because whoever it was matched my strength. Then I woke up tied to a chair.

“Why am I here? Let me guess my brother pissed you off?” I asked in a groggy tone.

“Why's that your go to?” he asked chuckling

“Because its the main reason that I get kidnapped . . . frequency.” I sighed

“So I’m not doing anything original?” he asked

“Nope” I stated

“Damon, well, yes your brother pissed me off.”

I knew it.

“Which one? And what they do this time?” wondering why I was being held captive this time also so I know which brother to blame.

“Damon. He thinks he can threaten me and there won’t be consequences.” he said before turning his back to me to throw his cupcake wrapper away.

“He threatens everybody. Your not the first, your not gonna be the last. Trust me.” I spoke with an irritated tone

“I strangely do.” he said smiling that captivating smile at me from over his shoulder as he walked back over.

“So like aren’t you a sociopath? You don’t feel anything right, like if I were to flip my switch?” I asked curiously

“Kinda like that. Except for some reason after I merged I feel, things.” he looked frustrated by that fact

“Like what things?”

“Well, normally I’m not burdened by things like guilt or love. But now I feel guilty for what I did to Jo, Live, and Luke. And I don’t know why I’m even telling you about this.” he scoffed but has a shy smile on his face.

“Maybe because you don’t have anyone to talk to or that will listen to you. An I am a willing participant.” I stated with a smirk tilting my head to the side wondering if that answered his question.

“Why are you listening to me? Aren’t we suppose to be enemies?” he asked looking puzzled

“I like hearing both sides of what happened and making my choice for myself. I know what it’s like to feel alone. To not have anyone on your side.” I explained. I have learned that there are always two sides. And I’ve learned that you shouldn’t trust only one half of the story.

“Your interesting” he said with a smirk creeping up on his face

“Thank you” I smirked proudly taking it as a compliment

We talked for hours.After a while it felt like we had been friends for ages.

“I think I’m falling for you” he blurted out

“When you kidnap someone I’m pretty sure your not suppose to fall in love with them.” I softly chuckled looking up shyly.

“Well, then I’m doing it wrong.But I wouldn’t have it any other way.” he said in a serious tone looking me in the eyes “its the only feeling that I’ve been sure about.”

“I think its safe to say my brothers not coming for me” I laughed, considering Kai said I slept for hours and now I have been held captive for 31 hours

“Yeah” he said pursing his lips into a pout

“How about we get outta here, get dinner.” I suggested raising an eyebrow

“I’m up for it. Let's go sweetheart” he said untying me. He leaned down to kiss me and I responded immediately “oh and by the way, this is a date”

I could only smile.Maybe this could be the start of a beautiful relationship.

“Derek I have to go” I giggled trying to escape his vice grip.

“No, stay” he pleaded

“I have to go to work. I need to got to work if I don’t I won’t be able to pay my rent.” I sat up searching around the room for my clothes

“Stay. You should just move in here. No rent to pay I own the building. Stay with me 24/7.” he said looking over at me.

“Ha ha very funny. Where's my shirt?” I spoke with sarcasm thinking he was joking

“I’m serious. Move in with me” he grabbed at my bicep turning me to look at him. He looked serious

“Seriously? You want to be around me all the time?” I asked in disbelief

“I love you, of course.” he answered looking at me like I was crazy thinking otherwise

“You sure? Around me 24/7.I don’t want to annoy you” I looked at him nervously hoping he was telling the truth

“You are never annoying to me”

“Ya sure?” I asked quirking an eyebrow

“Yes, I’m sure”

“I should pay you rent for staying here-” I stumbled out

“No. That’s the point. You move in less working, no paying rent.” he chuckled

“I should at least help with bills” I told him not wanting to be a freeloader

“If I say yes will you stop trying to pay rent?” he asked smiling

I nodded.I couldn’t in good conscience not pay anything.I could see this meant something to Derek.

“Ok then you can help with bills.” he laughed, with a big goofy smile on his face

“Ok” I replied

“Ok? Your gonna move in, ok?” he asked with a hint of excitement in his voice

“Yeah Derek I’ll move in. But are you sure? This isn’t just a spur of the moment thing right?” I wanted to know before I moved in that he wasn't going to regret this in a week.

“It’s not. I swear. It’s something I’ve been thinking about for a while now. And this was just a good time to ask.” he moved closer to me sitting up

“I love you too” he said back cupping the side of my face which I leaned into

“So can we go get your stuff now? And by the way, some of your stuff is already here.” he pulled you back down on top of him

“How-” I looked at him puzzled and shocked

“I’ve been sneaking things over here to make you feel at home for a while and not we just need to get the rest of it” he looked around and I did the same. That's when I noticed that a lot of my stuff from my apartment were around the loft. He pulled me in for a kiss.

“Ok, one last thing.” I said pulling away from him

“Hmm” he raised his eyebrows ready to answer another question

“Ah, brother are you here to yell, fight or are you here to help?” Klaus asked grabbing an empty glass to fill up for his brother, as Kol entered the compound.

“Neither Nik. Just here to talk.” Kol answered taking the glass from him

“Ah and where’s your little friend” Klaus questioned looking behind Kol to see if he saw her, but she was nowhere in sight.

“Friend?” Lucien asked not understanding where Klaus got the idea that there would be a ‘friend’.

“Yes. Kol for many centuries has had the same girlfriend. They are very well known to be always with each other. They are also very alike.” Klaus stated to his sire before sitting back in a chair

“Yes, sometimes close to being the same person.” Elijah said entering the room, pouring himself a glass of bourbon.

“So there’s 2 of him.” Lycien asked no one in particular

“Pretty much” Marcel answered him leaning his elbows on the back of one of the chairs

“How do you put up with that?” Lucien looked at Klaus confused because he thought one Kol was annoying enough

“Years of practice and patience” he answered smirking as he took a sip

“So where is the other one” Lucien looked around hoping for a clue

“Not far” Kol replied

“Where one goes the other follows” Klaus smiled

“Speak of the devil she shall appear” Marcel said as he noticed y/n entering the doorway

“Very funny. Darling, what took you so long?” Kol glared at Marcel for the comment about his girl

“Someone saw me feeling and well couldn’t have that” y/n smirk’s wiping some drops of blood from her mouth

“Always got to make an entrance” Kol smiled grabbing her waist as she came closer

“Oh and they are very affectionate” Elijah pointed out

“I see that” Lucien stated looking at the two vampires that have goofy smiles on their faces looking each other in the eyes

“Have they been talking about us like we aren’t even here?” y/n asked Kol looking back up at him from looking down from blushing. Knowing him for more than half her life and he can still make her blush like when they first met.

“Yes, it seems so.” Kol smiled down at her knowing where this was going

“How rude” y/n said to the group of men. With a shocked expression.

“What are you two doing back?” Elijah asked remembering that Kol planned the trip to take a couple months.

“Yes wasn’t your little trip suppose to be, oh I don’t know longer?” Klaus gestured between the two of them. He was hoping that he could get rid of there lastest problem before the duo got back.

“Now, now that’s not very nice” y/n tutted wiggling a finger at Nik, walking over and taking his drink and drinking the rest of it.

“I’m sorry love, my apologies” Klaus smiled at her. Klaus only ever apologized to y/n. Most people thought he liked her more than he liked his siblings. 

“Come on Darling, let’s go out for a bite,” Kol suggested lifting his eyebrows and biting his lip

“I’m up for that” y/n skipped back over to Kol, after shoving the glass back into Niklaus’ hands

“No feeding on the witches! I need to get on their good side!” Klaus yelled after them as they headed to the door. Not needing any more trouble and that's exactly what those two are trouble. 

“No promises” Kol an y/n yelled back at the sametime. Leaving the compound, and leaving Klaus and the others to worry about what the two are going to do. . .
