To answer @bigender-cowboy question, it doesn't work lol. It shot twice and it shot very well those 2 times but I couldn't get it to work besides that. It is also terrifying to load since the slide doesn't hold onto the string very well and sometimes it'll slip and just go on its own. When trying to fire it the bolts go about halfway and then stop, I believe this is because the bow is above the bolts and the string is pulling up so it doesn't stay in the notch very long. All of these issues are flaws in the design I was basing this off of and not necessarily my fault. If I were to do this again I know how I'd change it to make it work but for now it's still a very cool piece of woodworking that I need to figure out how to hang on my wall
