Can we talk about the TOTAL TRUST that Sesshomaru showed towards Kagura at this moment? 👇

Jaken had clearly told Sesshomaru that Kagura had kidnapped Rin but he never blamed her, never held it against her, never even feared that she could do it again. Don't underestimate this fact, for Sesshomaru Rin's safety came before anything else but, in Kagura's case, he put his trust in this woman, with whom he had only met a couple of times, instead of being alerted with a natural protective instinct towards Rin.

It's true that Sesshomaru knew that Kagura only followed Naraku's orders because she was forced to but, considering how much he cares about Rin, you would expect a reaction from Sesshomaru of at least concern but instead NOTHING OF NOTHING!

The SIGNIFICANT thing is that we are shown, by Rumiko Takahashi herself in this scene, that Rin is still afraid of Kagura and also here Jaken yells at Kagura to go away and that Sesshomaru is not interested in listening to what she has to say and what Sesshomaru does?!?!? He GETS CLOSER to her!!!!!! 👀👀👀 Maybe it's also because Rin saw that Sesshomaru trusts Kagura that we are shown that, after this episode, she was no longer afraid of her. This happened LONG BEFORE Kagura's death and these are details forgotten by many people. 🥰🥰🥰

I know, I KNOW! Inuyasha even stood firmly on his feet and fought him with Sesshomaru's poison running through his body, Sesshomaru himself admitted that it wasn't wise to insist and left, but apparently they can't see that! You'll be told that Inuyasha every time could defeat Sesshomaru because of his friends' help but if it were a one on one he would be done for bc against a pure-blooded demon is a matter of fact that a pathetic half-demon can't do nothing. That is, these people totally bought Sesshomaru's racist shit and are 100% fine with that, even though Sesshomaru first had to come to terms with the fact that that wasn't so true lol.

As I said, that's so depressing.

I swear to God never in my life I felt the need to gatekeep my fav characters, actually I've always hated people acting as if they owned a certain piece of media and no one in the world apart from them were entitled to talk about it but being in Inuyasha fandom I truly drastically changed my mind 😮‍💨😤🤬

And what is worst is that I don't like AT ALL to be this kind of person, but when everyone around you (referred principally to the Italian fanbase on fb) seems not to get the simplest things 🤯 and have this passive-aggressive behaviour your biggest wish just is to kick some ass.

And not only about the whole Kagome-Inuyasha-Kikyo thing, it's EVERYTHING 😭

Inuyasha wasn't worthy of Tetsusaiga/ Inuyasha quite literally is nothing without Tetsusaiga/ if not for Sesshomaru, Inuyasha would never have been able to get Tetsusaiga in the first place/ the thing with Inuyasha is that as the main character he's meant to lead the show but let's face the facts he would never stand a chance against Sesshomaru.

So depressing. Really.

500+ manga chapters. 190+ anime episodes. And still all you can put together is that "A beat-up clunker will never be a Ferrari".

The real problem is that people really seem to have difficulty grasping the nuances in a given character. If that character doesn't act in every circumstance in the best possible way then he/she is already marked in their mind as "weak", "immature" or "evil". Even Kagome gets her shit because she "doesn't make the minimum effort to get some respect from Inuyasha". Ridiculous! She's just trying to be considerate with someone deeply hurt. Inuyasha practically is a person in depressive condition often on the verge of suicide, for God's sake!

That being so... it's GUARANTEED that Kikyo will be depicted as the essence of evil itself no less. Indeed Kikyo hurt Inuyasha in many ways, both unintentionally AND intentionally, but that doesn't make her a witch. At the very least she has some extenuation, and if not that, she can still have your empathy bc her situation too is really awful.

Those people truly think that "good character" means "good person" which in turn means "perfect person", they can't tell apart these three things 🤯 and what is worst is that such statements come from grown-ass men and women, not from kids! Actually the most interesting points I've read about Inuyasha are made by under-twenties, I swear.
