Yes absolutely. I really haven’t listened to any of the leaks because like,,, it just gives me the ick idk. It feels like I’m going against their wishes or something idk

with all of the excitement regarding a paper kingdom track (witch) being leaked in full i want us to remember that this album was scrapped for a reason.

the early 2010's were a very dark time for all of the members but as far as im aware namely mikey and gerard. as gerard is typically the one writing the music its important to keep in mind that the reason this album was scrapped was because the concept was weighing on gerards already... turbulent mental health. on top of the eating disorder and relapse the paper kingdom was a concept album about parents grieving their late children. some of them were fathers at that point.

it's perfectly okay to be interested in the paper kingdom as it is an interesting topic and concept for an album (and to want mcr5 as long as you don't get rude about it), but keep in mind why this album was scrapped

personally the leaks were cool to me for like a day. I won’t listen to them though, because if MCR5 even happens, I find it disrespectful to listen to a leak. If it’s confirmed it was purposeful like a band member leaking it to mess with us, whatever. I know some have been around for a bit but I still want to speak on it. Anyway if they were actually planning an album, would you try to invade it?

i think it's fine to attribute some desire to biology, like wanting to have kids. like yeah I'm sure a lot of it is the living creature need to proliferate. it doesn't bug me. same as acknowledging that love is dopamine or whatever. a cynic saying love is just chemicals in our brains isn't a gotcha. like ok we as humans were so driven and fascinated by our capacity to love that we found the exact juice that produces that feeling and gave it a name. that's awesome, actually, i dig that, i love that. with my chemicals.
