Am I Forever Helpless?

I feel traumatized by my parent's fighting. I saw my cousins fighting and had a breakdown in our hotel room. Its frightening how scarred I am by what has happened in the last year. It's all just been building, to the point where my emotions, thoughts, and metal state of mind boil over the edge.

People say that self harm is dangerous. Well I call it an escape! I DID hurt myself when they first started fighting, thinking it was my fault, and I figured the physical pain was easier to deal with then the emotional. And I was right.

Until mom announced the divorce and I realized it was all for nothing. Now I'm just angry. But again - the emotions are getting hard to handle. I don't want to fall into the same cyclone of burning to feel freed. Then again, it seems like I'm passed that point. You'd believe it if you saw my breakdown earlier.

I'm afraid I scared my cousins, my aunt, and grandmother. What will they think of me, I wonder? I'm afraid of ending up in a white padded room. Of course I'd also be angry afterwards, and just curse my parents as much - if not more - than I am now.

My life is becoming a vicious cycle, and I need an escape. Bit if I ask for help, will it be worse? Because I don't want people trying to pry me open and mess with my head. That scares me more to be honest.

I feel like I'm in a cage, and everyone is starring at me, pointing. And laughing. It's worse than high school, because there is no escape in the form of graduation. Just misery.

I can actually see this happening. And not just to them, but between any of my friends and I. A lot of them are morons.
