Hey I just found out that apparently fascists and the like are using cottagecore to subtly recruit people, by disguising fascist rhetoric with cute cottagecore/trad femme aesthetics. These are staff nurses at St Thomas' hospital where Boris Johnson was treated for Coronavirus.
They are protesting about the lack of PPE and the government handling of the Coronavirus.
This has been barely covered in the media, who are too busy congratulating Boris on his sixth or seventh child.
