You have Taranza, right. You could make him:

- Professionally stoic, emotionally mature and keeping his feelings down low. But always there. Bubbling. Like a tiny glass shard in his heart. You could even add a little evil on that too.

- A well mannered, if a bit shy loyal young gentleman always dedicated to doing the best for his Queen and country, embarassed at the prospect of pursuing any feelings.

- An absolute romantic disaster of a mess that flusters wildly at the slightest gesture of affection from her.

But then you have *Sectonia* and like. There’s just so many options.

- You can make her focused on her ambitions of running the kingdom with a stern, imposing disposition, but secretly missing the old times where she could just enjoy personal frivolity with the only friend she’s ever had.

- You can make her cold and completely uninterested in anyone but herself, seeing her old best friend as nothing but a tool.

- You could make her a sassy gigaconfident Queen that knows she’s the shit and flirts the hell out of Taranza for shits and giggles, but absolutely would make out with him if he returned the gesture.

- You could also go for a middleground between these where she carries herself like a confident young Queen that takes no nonesense, but still considers Taranza her closest friend and would probably do anything for him if needed, much like he does for her every day. Probably likes him too.

- Hell, you can keep her in her spider form and let her have this adorable, fluffy blushy building romance where her biggest struggle is her lack of confidence.

And like. Etc. Etc. But then

You like. take all of those options and then realize

You can mix and match them all

ANd then you drench that shit in the built-in royalty aesthetic/setting with all the prepackaged drama that comes with the trope and Its KINO

Like Yea ofc you can do this with a lot of characters but gdi these two are so UNIQUE love that shit.
