Look me up - Rowena Imagine
Summary: When the King of Hell calls to ask a favour you are happy to oblige, I mean who wouldn’t need a favour from the King of hell.
Requested by Anon
You stood with your arms crossed outside some kind of old building. ‘Anytime now, it is me doing you a favour’ You grumbled just before the door opened. Two men in suits stood inside. ‘Who are you?’ One of them snapped. ‘Crowley’s expecting me’ You sighed rolling your eyes. At the same same both their eyes turned black telling you they were demons, not that you didn’t already know. They both tensed and went into attack mode as you
You muttered a few words waving your hand and they both froze in their spots. ‘Next time you want to show how almighty you are, don’t do it with powerful witch’ You scoffed pulling the door closed behind you. The halls were long as you navigated through them. The stained glass windows casting random colours over the tiled floors. More demon’s stood in front of two large doors and they straightened when you came into view. ‘The King has been expecting you’ The short lady reached across and opened the door for you. You nodded your thanks at her before stepping inside.
You almost laughed when you realised it was a throne room. It was mostly lit by candles on tall black candle holders. Only the evening light came in the high semicircle windows. Random cabinets and shelves lined the walls and were covered in random crap that wasn’t even worth noting. Another man in a suit stood with a long paper reading out names and dates.
You stopped behind him and the he stopped as Crowley’s eyes left him landing on you. He sat up straighter in his raised throne. He crossed his legs and a sly smile crept across his face. ‘Well hello there Y/n’ He waved off the other demon and he clicked the scroll disappearing. ‘Out’ He barked and the few demons here scrambled away. ‘It’s good to see you again’ Crowley stood coming down the steps. ‘You studied biblical magic? Yes?’ You nodded crossing your arms as he stopped in front of you.
He smiled. ‘Well I’ve had a little problem, someone has been sneaking in and out of hell, I need you to help seal up a few old passages’ You sighed. ‘You could try asking nicely. He rolled his eyes. ‘My Mother had tried but it does not seem to be working’ You raised your eyebrows your lips stretching up into a smirk. ‘You have a Mother?’ You let out a laugh. ‘And she’s a witch?’ He gave you a stoic look before nodding. ‘Wow, the King of Hell has a Mommy’ You laughed.
You readjusted your leather jacket over your mid thigh black dress. Crossing your ankles your combat boots scraping along the floor. ‘And nothing she does works?’ You asked and he nodded. The door behind you opened and you both turned your heads to the door. ‘Fergus’ A sweet accented voice lilted through the room. A woman in an older strolled into the room.
A long red dress flattered her slender body. Her dark red hair was pulled back into an elegant updo leaving only her bangs and a few loose strands to frame her face. She wore dark eyeshadow that helped those green eyes pop and bright red lipstick.
Her eyes landed on you and she smiled. You couldn’t help but smile back. ‘Well son? Aren’t you going to introduce me to the lovely lady?’ You couldn’t exactly place her accent. ‘Mother, this is Y/n’ He gestured to you. ‘Y/n, this is my Mother’ The Woman stopped in front of you. ‘Rowena, Dear’ She held you her hand. She had small delicate hands and you reached out wrapping your own around them. ‘Y/n, can I ask where your accent is from? I can’t place it? Somewhere European?’ You smiled shyly at her. ‘Scottish’ She confirmed her eyes trailing your face.
You both dropped your hands as Crowley cleared his throat. You turned. ‘Yes Fergus?’ You smirked. You watched his face turn into a scowl. Rowena gave a small laugh behind you. ‘You may be a witch but you should still watch your tone with me’ He snapped. ‘Fergus’ Rowena stepped in beside you. ‘You shouldn’t talk to a lady like that, where are yer manners’ You coughed to hide the chuckle that escaped your lips. ‘Y/n is here to help you close up those little holes. My demons will show you down’ He strode by you and his Mother. You leaned over to the woman beside you. ‘I take it he doesn’t like Fergus’ You laughed and heard Rowena laugh.
You strolled through the dark hall. Hell was not as bad as you thought it would be. You pushed your bag further onto your shoulder as you watched the other witch walk in front of you. It was hot though. You both rounded a corner and you seen the hallway ended in a wall. On it was an old symbol. Your eyes ran over it picking out all the imperfections. ‘I’m not sure what’s wrong’ Rowena looked over her shoulder at you when she came to a stop. ‘There is some slight imperfections, spells like this require absolute accuracy’ You strolled up to the symbol and ran your finger over the junction of the line and the circle below.
The line of dry blood disappeared beneath your fingers. You reached into your bag and pulled out a small silver knife. You ran it along your palm. ‘May I ask where you learned this Dear?’ You allowed the blood to run down to your fingertips. ‘I studied it under a very old Witch a couple of centuries ago’ You told her reaching up and beginning to draw an old hell ruin underneath the other symbol. ‘Centuries?’ She sounded intrigued as you stepped back. ‘Yep,centuries. It should work now’ You glanced at her to find her watching you with a smile.
She began chanting and the symbols began glowing. By the end you had to cover your eyes from the intense red light. you heard the bricks in the wall grinding together and then the light disappeared. Rowens stood her arms outstretched and her shoulders heaving up and down. You had never seen a better sight in your life.
She turned to you and a large smile on her face. ‘Don’t ye just love te feelin’ after a spell’ The bliss on her face almost made you swoon and you wondered if that’s what you looked like when you had finished a spell. You didn’t care, all you cared about was seeing that face again and again, on her. ‘How many more do we have to do?’ You asked breathily. ‘You give me the directions I can do half of them’ You cleared your throat trying to get rid of the dryness. ‘Oh Dear, I’m not letting you out of my sight in this place’ She almost skipped forwards and looped her arm through yours. ‘We don’t wan’ a pretty little thing like you getting lost in Hell’ She turned you and dragged you back down the hallway.
Another 5 spells later you stood in front of the last blood dripping from your fingers as you raised your arms. You opened your mouth and began to mutter the long ancient words. Your eyes closed and rolled back. It was over as quickly as it had began and you let out a long breath. ‘Ye just look delicious when yer doin’ that’ You opened your eyes and turned to see her standing with her hands on her hips. You felt the blush rising on your cheeks and you cleared your throat.
You looked down at your hands and ran your fingers over your cut palm the flesh knitting itself up again and cleaning itself. ‘Let’s get ou’ of here ‘nd ye tell me a little more about Y/n’ You smiled up at her liking the way your name sounded in her accent. ‘I’d like that’ You smiled.
Both of you sat in a small cafe, her sipping on a tea and you sipping on a coffee. Rowena let out a laugh as you told her another story from your antics in Europe. ‘So ye were wild in yer youth’ You shrugged. ‘It got me a lot of hunters on my tail though, so I moved and gave it up. ‘Had ye down as a troublemaker’ She smirked and you chuckled blushing.
It took you both by surprise when her phone rang. She rolled her eyes after looking at the Id. ‘Fergus’ She drawled when she picked up. You took another sip of your beverage as she listened to her son on the other end. Then suddenly she hung up. ‘I’m after I have te cut this short Dear, but you know where te find me’ She stood and sighed. You stood along with her. ‘I will be sure to see you again Rowena’ You caught her arm when you were outside.
You turned her to look at you meeting her eyes. She smiled softly and her hand came up to rest on your cheek. ‘Ye better’ You smiled in return. ‘And if being the King of Hell’s Mother ever looses it’s appeal, look me up’ You leaned in and pressed your lips to her perfectly blushed cheek.
A month later there was a knock at your door. You groaned not expecting anybody today, and when you never expected someone it was usually bad news. You strode to the door smoothing down the top you wore and opened it. You froze at the sight in front of you. Standing there in all her glory was Rowena.
She had half her hair pinned back and the rest cascading down her back. She wore a tight light blue dress that made you trail your eyes down her figure before looking back up at her eyes. She had a long dark cloak fastened around her neck and she leaned against the door. ‘Ye told me te look ye up’ The full smile on her face made one grow on your own.
She stepped over the threshold and stopped beside you. ‘Let me guess, you had nowhere else to go?’ You chuckled closing the door behind you leaning against it. ‘I could be in a 5 star hotel Dear’ She unfastened her cloak and dropped it over the back of your chair. ‘I’m here because I didn’t want te be anywhere else’ You chuckled and looked at the woman you had seen almost every week in the last month. ‘Well I’m glad you are’ You strolled over to her.
You placed your hand on her cheek and pressed your lips to the other. ‘Tea?’ You asked as you pulled away. ‘Ye know me all too well, I shall make it’ She leaned down and pecked your lips leaving you a little shocked as she turned and swaggered towards your kitchen. You gulped and allowed the smile to stretch across your face before following her.
I hope this is what you wanted Anon and I’ve done it justice.
