Theory: there was meant to be an equal amount of dark sides to the normal sides. Theres only two now because one defected.

Someone had wanted Sleep to be called Remy. Now, everyone knows Sleep as Remy Sanders!

Nobody has hated on one another because they ship something else, not from what I have ever seen. Heck, people had still gotten compliments from people who didn’t ship those 2 together.

This fandom is like no other. Everyone is slightly more concerned about making everything gayer instead of making shipping wars or giving hate.

You really can’t hate this loving and understanding fandom!

here’s the tea

not only is this entire fandom sweet and caring, but they’ve also got a ton of creative liberties. like really. think about it.

you could headcanon the sides up to high heaven. “virgil’s genderfluid” “romans a dark side” “the sides are different heights/sizes/colors”

and not once have i seen someone say “no! that’s not accurate! thomas hasn’t made it canon >:(“ because honestly? who is to say they ARENT? the sides in a whole are so mysterious and uncharacteristic that this fandom could get away with anything and it still be accurate.

like come on now! you can’t even tell me it’s not. the sides shape shift to not even each other, who have the same faces, but thomas’ friends, matching height, voice, and look to a T.

and that has seriously got to be one of the main reason i freaking love this fandom.

Idea: the Sides as My Little Pony characters.

I may or may not be watching My Little Pony and a thought struck me. The Sides could be the different MLP characters. Now, bear with me for a moment.

Logan would be Twilight Sparkle. Twilight is nerdy, smart, and socially awkward. She loves learning new things and reading, but she’s not always up to date with social norms and slang. However, she’s a loyal friend and wants to help however she can.

Virgil would be Fluttershy. Fluttershy is shy, quiet, and anxious. But, she’s also kind, caring, and can be assertive and loud when it comes to her friends and their wellbeing.

Patton would be Pinky Pie. Pinky is bubbly, excitable, and always wanting to have fun. She almost always is happy and always wants her friends to be happy. And she’s especially protective over Fluttershy. However, she also has her moments of sadness and anger and needs reassurance too.

Now for Roman, I can’t decide if he’s more of a Rainbowdash or a Rarity. Rainbowdash is athletic, brave, and protective of her friends. Rarity is fashionable, stylish, and generous. She loves all things pretty and is willing to do or give up anything for her friends.

Of course, we can’t forget about our snek boi Deceit. Deceit would be none other than Discord. Discord isn’t exactly a Pony, but he is a character on the show. He loves chaos and causing trouble. If that doesn’t spell out Deceit, I don’t know what does.

As for the others MLP characters, I haven’t decided who could be them.
