It’s possible that he just likes tall people.' I think this chapter showed us his answer. Hanji is tall but also her/his gender is not specified. Levi and Hanji complete each other and Levi's hand on her/his heart proves it, it has deeper meaning that they only know about.

So, Catching Feelings for Sakura is an impossible one... If anyone who caught Sasuke's attention and feelings... that person is Naruto. And they both married to those girls when they were just 19.... Do you think Sasuke could have been able to develop this kind of deeper understanding with Sakura in just a year???? No Chance!!!

Also, Their entire marriage is just a mystery which no one can predict and was intentionally left ambiguous. Like where is the marriage photo??? How did their bond developed? Who proposed first??? Why did that Sakura got her baby delivered in Orochimaru Hideout rather than in Konoha Hospital???

See, Lot of questions with no answer to be found. And that's why I feel he married pinky because the sequel demands him to. Not only with Sasuke, it's the same with Naruto as well.

Like, for example....

This scene takes place in Chapter 615... So, Naruto knew that this trash tried to sacrifice her life for him before Pain and now Neji died by guilt-tripping him to take care of Hinata....

And yet, When Minato arrived on the battlefield in Chapter 631,

He asked Sakura, "Are you Naruto's Girlfriend?"...... To which Naruto says..... "Yeah"...... I mean.... What the Hell??? Why couldn't he say Hinata??

Please don’t mistake that Naruto loves Sakura here... He was just showing off before his dad. There are some shippers who take this as an absolute truth.

And again....

This is the final time Naruto will ever see his father. So, The probability of Naruto lying is just impossible... Whatever he was saying here was the absolute truth...

And, this goes way back to Land of the Waves Arc.....

Here, Haku talks about Precious Person..... "When a person has something important to protect, that's when they truly become strong"

Look how Naruto could connect everything that happened so far around him.... He connected Iruka acknowledged him in chapter 1... In turn, Naruto made Iruka 'A Precious Person'.... So, when protecting Iruka, for the first time he made 1000 Kage Bunshins.... A symbol of Naruto becoming strong....

This is where Naruto, the series went to another level.

Naruto is basically telling Zabuza that, "To him, You are a precious person... He really loved you... He loved you that much... That's why he died protecting you... Don't you feel anything??"....

Look how Naruto could connect the words Haku said to him back in the forest... He openly tells Zabuza that Haku loved him...

Isn't Haku's sacrifice very similar to How Sasuke gave up his life for Naruto??? So, Naruto might have realized Sasuke loves him too.... Hmmm...

If Naruto could understand the love of Haku had towards Zabuza at age 12, why couldn't Naruto realize the love of Hinata at age 16 where he became more understanding towards others to the point of reforming Nagato and Obito???? Is it because he really became an idiot to the point of not understanding other's feelings all of a sudden??? Or does it means he loves someone else who is not Hinata???

How could Naruto felt the pain of Sasuke and not Hinata?????

It doesn’t even take one panel to add Hinata’s name when Naruto was talking to Minato. 

So, I sincerely feel either Kishimoto became really dumb and forgot to mention Hinata here or it was deliberate. I prefer the later. Meaning, Naruto was deliberately written to not acknowledge Hinata's feelings until Chapter 699. With the way she was written so far, I never found any consistency nor the sincerity of the author... Her confession in Pain Arc was written just for the sake of writing it.

Similarly, Sasuke also brutally rejected Sakura's proposal saying, "I have no reason to love her"....till the very end... this happens in Chapter 693.

All these screams, Kishimoto wanted to say something and he said everything by Chapter 699. Everything that happened after that was just for money making tactics, a lead for Boruto and I believe he was not interested in it.

And that's why I feel Sasuke married Pinky because the show just match them up for Boruto. Same with Naruto too...

Because I really couldn't find any other justifiable reason, anon

And why the show decided to go with Sakura specifically??? Because she was more popular than Karin... No wonder, they have a kid that looks like Karin. 

Since Sasuke already married Sakura if there was a life-and-death situation between Sakura and Naruto, who do you think he would save? I know he would have chosen Naruto in the past but since he is married now, do you think he would be more conflicted? This question can be applied to Naruto as well if he had to choose between Hinata and Sasuke.

If Naruto and Sasuke were ready to sacrifice their kids for the sake of Konoha, then there’s no doubt that they won’t be treating their wives any special.... Mind you, their kids are the extension of themselves who shares their own blood. But still they could be able to sacrifice them for the greater good. How can they make exceptions for their wives alone??? 

But since this ask is about life-and-death situation, let’s look at the clues left by Kishimoto in Gaiden Arc and Boruto movie.

As you can see Sakura was being sucked in by a Space-Time Ninjutsu in the following panel

Look at Sarada who is getting panicked, as she should be. And it’s fine!!!!

But why the hell Sasuke is constantly cribbing about Space-Time Ninjutsu???? Why didn’t he utter, “Sakura” with a panicked face????? 

Atleast Naruto was seen worried that he couldn’t do anything!!!! Sasuke was like, “Oh, So the enemy has Space-Time Ninjutsu, eh?”.... And Sarada just doesn’t know how to react. 

This reminds me of this panel in Shippuden.

In the Kaguya Dimension, Sakura was chased by the monster. It’s funny that Naruto is asking Sasuke to help her out rather than sending one of his clones to help her out.... or body moving on its own... Anyways... Sasuke seems to be attempting to save her

And, Pooof!!! Kakashi saved her.... But instead of getting happy, Why is Sasuke fretting about Kakashi’s Susanoo??????

Again, Sasuke was just focused on Kakashi’s abilities rather than being happy with Sakura being saved.... “No way... That’s impossible... But... He wasn’t supposed to still have his Sharingan”

Isn’t this very similar to how Sasuke reacted when Sakura was sucked in by that Shin guy???? So, Sasuke’s core character hasn’t changed.... It’s just that he became nice!!!

In the Gaiden Arc, Sasuke just wonders about enemy’s ability rather than getting worried about saving Sakura!!!!!

How Sasuke reacts when something happens to Naruto

In the same Arc, Naruto was also seen getting stabbed by Sasuke’s own sword.

Look at Sasuke’s reaction..... “What the hell just...?”.... Sasuke was completely terror stricken on seeing Naruto getting stabbed.... Funny thing here is, Sasuke knew that Naruto has regenerative abilities, thanks to Kurama. And Sasuke knows this very well.... And yet he panics... Why???? 

Because Sasuke has a weakness towards Naruto. He simply couldn’t watch him getting stabbed and be cool-headed like he did with Sakura. 

And Kishimoto was not trying to be subtle at all. LOL.

This is very similar to

How Sasuke was worried about Naruto after sensing his Chakra in Konoha.... At this point Sasuke wants to kill Naruto, and yet he couldn’t stop himself from worrying about his safety.

This is called Weakness and this is what Sasuke wanted to avoid. 

But he couldn’t.... And it was still evident in Gaiden Arc as well. 

You may claim Sasuke has confident in SakuTrash’s abilities and that’s why he doesn’t worry about her. Well, it’s not about trust and shit..... When it comes to danger, no matter how strong the person is, you will worry out of genuine concern.... 

For Sasuke, that person is not Sakura.

After Naruto was taken to another dimension by Momoshiki, Sasuke sensed Naruto’s Chakra and was planning to rescue him along with Boruto, as he should be. 

So far, so good!!!!

What Sasuke did when something happened to Sakura

After Sakura was taken by Shin in Gaiden Arc,  The fun part starts here!!!!

Naruto says, “I can’t sense Sakura-Chan’s Chakra at all”........ 

Sasuke found where Shin’s hideout were located at and asks Naruto, “Right around here.... Naruto, I leave the sensing upto you”....

What the fucking hell??????

Why could Sasuke sense Naruto’s chakra and not Sakura’s?????? 

It’s just plain weird and funny..... In Boruto movie, Naruto was taken to a completely different dimension than the earth and still Sasuke told Boruto that he could sense his Chakra.

Whereas Sakura was taken somewhere in the earth... How could Sasuke sense Naruto’s Chakra across dimensions whereas with ‘his wife’ he couldn’t even sense her Chakra even after reaching the destination????

It’s not just once but happened twice in the same Arc....

And it’s just deliberate from Kishimoto’s side!!! I mean logically, it doesn’t make any sense. He wrote Boruto movie where he made Sasuke to sense Naruto’s chakra. He also wrote Gaiden Arc as well. Kishimoto could’ve made Sasuke sense her Chakra and go straight away instead of asking Naruto!!!!!! But he didn’t.

Well, Why couldn’t Sasuke provide comfort to Sakura just like how he did for Naruto????

I don’t want to glorify the touch in a different way. It’s just that sometimes a gentle pat on someone’s shoulders provide a great warmth and comfort.

Sasuke after saving Sakura, “You can heal the scars yourself after, right???” and was not even bothered to provide the comfort or even some concerned words like, “Are you alright, Sakura?”... Now that I come to think of, Sasuke also knew Naruto can also heal his wounds by himself, he could’ve easily remained calm instead of panicking like Naruto was really going to die. Whooops!!!

This is not the example of someone who has a close relationship with his life partner!!!!!

Looking at all these scenes, 

Sasuke was not panicked when something happens to Sakura

Sasuke couldn’t track Sakura’s Chakra

Sasuke was being distant after saving Sakura....

All these screams, Sakura’s suffering won’t hurt Sasuke. Just like how he was in Shippuden. Yes, he would feel bad for her.... But that’s about it.

To give you the exact picture of Sasuke’s priority.....

Sasuke had a family once. His Father, His Mother and His much beloved Brother. After the massacre, Sasuke was seen remembering the memories of his Father and Mother only once. 

This is after Sasuke left Naruto after the VoTE1 battle. 

There were no other instance where Sasuke was seen thinking about his parents. He always thinks about the betrayal of Itachi. Which means rather than the death of his parents, Sasuke couldn’t tolerate the betrayal. However, he was seen remembering his best moments shared with his brother even during his battle against Itachi.

All these shows that Sasuke prefers Itachi than his own parents. He has a favourite even among his own family members. He could tolerate the loss of his parents death but the death of Itachi drove him to madness which shows the intensity of love he had towards him.

In a similar way, 

When it comes to Naruto and Sakura, Sasuke would inevitably prefer Naruto, because your body moves on its own only for the person whom you have a strong feelings for. 

What about Naruto??

For Naruto’s side, We don’t have many panels to discuss.

However, Naruto was so ready to leave his family and village to go with Sasuke!!! LOL..... What about Hinata????? Whooopsie!!!

It’s also funny that Hinata made a lovely bento her beloved Naruto-Kun and all he could think about is Sasuke when he gave his lunch during his Bell Test!!! 

This is where Naruto places his priority very clear....

“Bonds aren’t merely made up of just time and blood!!!! There’s something even stronger than both of those!!!!!”

Naruto is telling Sarada that Bonds are not just about blood ties. And Naruto thinks about two people before this panel!!!

Iruka Sensei!!!

And Sasuke!!!

Well, where is Hinata??? She was also not connected by blood with Naruto, wasn’t she???? 

So, still Naruto’s top most people are Iruka Sensei and Sasuke!!!!

Naruto prefers found family than his own family. Well and Good. That’s why he was always extra protective towards Kawaki..... He loves that boy more than his own son.

And yet, during the Jigen fight, Naruto asked Sasuke to escape

After that Naruto says, “Even if you can track Kawaki with your Karma, you can’t tell where Sasuke is”....

So, Naruto is okay with Kawaki, his favourite adopted Son, being tracked and hunted.... But he is not okay with Sasuke being tracked!!!!!

If this is not the example of Naruto’s preference.... What else is???

That’s why I feel Naruto would always prefer Sasuke!!! His marital status doesn’t change anything. Because if does, then he must have added Hinata in his top most important people’s list. Which means Naruto’s priorities are always the same!!!

Of course, they will be sad about their wives death, but that’s about it!!!! Whereas we can’t say the same when Naruto lose Sasuke!!!! He even went to the hyperventilation mode on hearing that Sasuke will be killed.  

Even if you consider them as friends, they would still prioritize each other. Because they promised to make Konoha a better place and protect it with their life. Minato died protecting the village and Itachi also died protecting the village. Both of them prioritized the village over everything even over their own family!!!! Minato made his own Son, a Jinchurikki and Itachi killed his own parents... 

For whom??? For Konoha. 

Both of their Will has been passed down to these boys. And I don’t see them throwing away all those sacrifices their predecessors and family members made for this village, just to save those two horny idiots who are as useless as this

From Logical point of view, It would be a bad story telling. Saving Hinata or Sakura will not save Konoha. 

No matter how many ways I think about it, I can’t see them preferring their wives over their Other Half!!!! Nope!!!!

I am so happy with these scenes, wit always was changing Levihan scenes (Ocean scene) or was not showing scenes with them at all ( season 3) so I am happy that mappa gave us this especially telepathy scene and new scenes (Levi standing next to Hanji and leg scene). ❤️

I want to ask about this. Is it Official and if it is, is it junior high manga or maybe something else ? Levi is resting on Hanji, Petra and Oluo are really close to eachother and Mike and Nanaba are so cute

Sorry but I think this is overinterpretation. Isayama likes squads that consists of simillar characters like one important girl and three boys e.g. Hanji's squad, Zeke' followers or even Mike squad or Jan' s squad.

Chapters 110-112-113: A Rivetra theory

Hi everyone, you might remember a previous post of mine when I stated that in chapter 113, Levi’s soldiers were compared to his former squad (Oluo, Eld, Petra and Gunther)

You clearly recognize here Petra, Oluo, Eld and Gunter, in the second one there is only Gunther and Eld.

Here you have Oluo, here the actual name of that soldier is Barris. Even the ones who colored the manga panels noticed it so they colored his hair like Oluo’s.

You even have Petra climbing the tree with her head towards the sky, it’s the same as when she died, notice there is Eld behind her.

So, now I’ve been looking for some rivetra proofs in the panels and I must that there are many of them!!

Let’s start with the most obvious, in chapter 110 when Levi and Zeke were chatting and he said:

So this one was pretty much put to the fore by fans since it’s obvious that the only female in AOT universe that was attracted in some way to Levi, was Petra. He says ‘before’, so it was in the past and Petra dead some years ago from now.

 Don’t forget that Isayama said that Levi was noted 02/10 on beauty standards in AOT Universe, which is different from what fans think of him haha. Whatever, and so, you notice that one of the most important element here is that they are in the forest of giant trees, the place where Levi’s squad passed away. Indirectly because of Zeke. So the tension is quite high, and also because he promised Erwin to kill Zeke. 

Now let’s move on to this, in chapter 112, another obvious point about rivetra, is that she appears in the middle of his memories. But also, there’s something else.

When you read what Levi says about Eren “I did it (I saved him) because I BELIEVED he was the hope for humanity’s survival…” = in other words, we TRUSTED him. And I say ‘we’ because when he says that, he reminds his comrades who used to do the same, they put their life in the line to save Eren’s because they thought he could save Eldia. 

The other thing is, Petra appears at EVERY MENTION of TRUST. And I insist on that, because her character was developped around that notion of trust, she believed in her squad members and teamwork was important for her above all.

Now, let’s see why I insist on that point: trust

Look how she seems to be sad and upset, you wonder why? Because they didn’t manage to trust one another (Zeke and the SC). Ah, and who do we see when Zeke mentions trust? Petra’s representation of titan. She’s the one who carries Zeke, btw it’s ironic since Zeke is Levi’s greatest enemy and Petra was one he loved the most. ;)

From the beginning to the end, Petra is sad, look at her facial expression:

Even when Zeke orders them to charge on Levi, she seems so sad. And that shows that even when she’s a titan, she won’t eat the one she loves = it’s a powerful proof of love. Even Barris (Oluo), Eld or Gunther didn’t hesitate even if they wouldn’t do that normally. But not her. She was never interested in eating Levi. It’s quite obvious here.

And other thing is that Levi didn’t get rid of her, it’s Zeke that killed her… once again. Levi had no choice but to kill his friends but he doesn’t kill her! 

Here’s what happens:

Levi hooks his ODM line to her neck but Zeke tore her head apart from her body… that’s so depressing tbh :(

PS: I didn’t show it here but everytime we have on one hand, a moment with Levi/Zeke and on the other hand, a moment with the SC along the chapters 110, 112-113 and everytime we see Levi, there are mentions to his former squad.

I DIED watching this scene!!! I was so happy, and I was laughing at the same time! Zeke knows guys... he was all sly like, "Yeah, I figured out the person who humanity's strongest soldier gets jealous over. Go me."

XD AND PETRA!!!

She was SO confused!!! It was cute!

I don't know if Levi knew he was jealous or not, but the way he straight up told Zeke to "shut up." was fabulous.

It's crazy because I never thought in a million years they would show something like this!

I haven't finished the game yet, but I hope there is a continuation of this with just these three character's! I. NEED. MORE. I hate it when they give us shipping material, and then nothing for the next couple of months or three years! They can't just let it end there. I need Levi to try and talk out why he is so grumpy with Petra, and Zeke eavesdropping, and as soon as the conversation is done Zeke walks away with a smug smile on his face while saying, "I knew it." He loves her! No one can freaking tell me otherwise!!!

I never knew how much I needed that in my life though! Had me on the floor and throwing up hearts!! 💜💜💜💜
