hey i know it’s bisexual visibility day and i’m not trying to diminish that but today (september 23rd) is also the international day of sign languages! 

as a deaf person i feel so included and seen when hearing people decide to learn to sign, even if only a few simple words or phrases. making that connection with the D/deaf and hard of hearing people in your life is one of the most valuable things you can do as a hearing person, and also one of the easiest- it only takes a few minutes to learn to sign “hello,” “thank you,” “sorry,” “i love you,” etc.

Honestly, if you see an angel that’s all eyes and wings and wheels of fire, you should be worried. Like, not because it’s going to hurt you or anything, but because scripturally, angels invariably appear to ordinary people in human form. In general, they only show their inhuman true forms to prophets – which means if you’re seeing them like that, they come bearing responsibility.
