Hello! You can call me Ryn. I don't really post a whole lot, but I reblog things sometimes. This will likely turn into a clusterfuck like all my other social media. My profile picture was drawn by my good friend Maddie! @electriclord

JON PET GHOST!!!!!!!!!!

To the people who love to workout, how do you do it? How do I become like you? How do you find the motivation to work out on your own?
I was with a workout group for four years. I still DESPISE working out. I just hate it. Still, I went because I had a “responsibility” essentially. I had to leave for a lot of complicated reasons, but in the month following that my mental health has been awful. I have body dysmorphia and I have essentially been attacking myself daily at this point. I want to workout on my own to allivate it but I can’t seem to find the motivation. (You would think my brain being rude as fuck would do it but NOPE.) What do you recommend?
This is the only thing I’ll be remembering from the finale. Everything else was a dream

Oh no are you pro life
By the apprehensive “oh no” I’m gonna assume that you’re pro-choice lol. But the answer is yes & no. I don’t see it as a starkly black and white issue like the hardliners do, which makes this a pretty difficult question to answer.
I would say I am personally pro-life, but I don’t think it’s right for the government to force people to carry to term a pregnancy that wasn’t their conscious choice or one that might kill them, which is why I’m against the laws that were recently passed in Alabama and Georgia. That said, abortion is by no means a form of birth control and I really wish that the pro-choice side of the argument would stop trying to make abortion seem like a positive thing and treating it like it’s a trivial decision without any consequences because it isn’t, especially in the later stages of pregnancy. I don’t know, it just comes off as extremely callous and screams “selfish” to me, as there seems to be a complete lack of regard for innocent life. (Also we can’t be abhorred by the astronomical abortion rates of black women while simultaneously advocating for abortion on demand and without question. Seems kind of counterproductive to me.)
On the other hand, pro-life hardliners tend to be quite unreasonable too and the result is the passage of ridiculous and dangerous laws like the aforementioned. I think it’s absolutely absurd to outlaw abortion at such an early stage, especially when conception of the child was through rape or incest. At the same time though, if a heartbeat is present, it must be acknowledged that a life — or a potential life— regardless of how it came to be, is being ended. I think the decision should be made with that in mind.
I believe in the concept of personal responsibility and if you got pregnant because of your lack of it, then the onus is on you. If you want an abortion, then you have to pay for it yourself. If for some reason you can’t and the child can’t be cared for, then putting them up for adoption is always an alternative. However, if it’s an issue of rape, an abusive relationship or if your health (or the baby’s) heath is in jeopardy, I believe it should be available to you without issue if that’s the path you choose to take.
Bottom line is that abortions should be a rarity and generally discouraged, except in extreme cases like the ones mentioned. I also support upholding the Hyde amendment, as I believe it’s not anyone else’s job but your own to pay the price for your personal irresponsibility. If all the celebrities groveling at the feet of Planned Parenthood want it to continue offering its abortion services, they can very easily donate some of their millions to ensure that it does. Taxpayer funding (namely for abortions) is not necessary.
Additionally, I believe that the only way we’ll be able to see a lower abortion rate in time is through sex education and access to contraception (especially in poorer areas), so it’s important to emphasize that too.
Also, abortion isn’t a human right and it really gets on my nerves when people say that it is lol
