Alternatives to KMPlayer for those who are struggling

It’s been a while since I don’t use KMPlayer because it’s exclusively Windows software, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence when many people have come to me asking why does it crash, why doesn’t it take screencaps correctly and some other issues.

I thought it’s about time to create a post that gathers all alternatives, for both Windows and Mac.
