my garden

a drop of blood hits the floor

like a flower blooming

upon a new spring.

the mirror glistens with steam from a shower

my arms bloom with petals of red

and my ears ring with my existential dread

though the day is beyond new

i still yearn to be with you

to pluck the flowers from my hands

and make me anew.

to see into a world with bright hues

and color it into something new

for i too want see it grow

with the glistening rain falling from the clouds

i want to see a new garden grow

and this time, the flowers be graceful

i want them to dance with the wind

just as i dance with you.
