The outstretched hand fell, and the scent of regret rose over the other scents, overpowering. “But your father—“

I don’t know much about the world, but it seems like if you take #keith's dad and add it to #my fics, you end up with #ulaz.
Mine is based on a really weird dream I had. Instead of going to a breeder, or the local animal shelter for a pet, people in the dream went to orchards and picked a piece of fruit and loved it and kept it warm until it hatched! Apples hatched into kittens (Granny Smiths were always black cats, and I think Golden Delicious were ginger tabbies), pears hatched into puppies, and bananas into snakes! There were more fruits into pets, but the specifics kinda faded over time.
Anyway, when I woke up I just had to draw one. So there it is, the genesis of the Apple Kitten Icon.
hello I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. The anonymity of tumblr means that I associate my idea/image of you with your icon and sometimes I look at people’s icons and I’m like ‘hmmm….what is that and why?’
