Had this lil comic idea since the trailer dropped, and finally got around to finishing it

hehehehe, I know Khaji is a lot more tame in the movie, but I wish I could see Jaime call Khaji-Da a xenomorph (derogatory). Cool weapons or not, that kind of thing scars someone.

Ah yes, Watch me crawl out from under the bush and post -only to disappear in a poof of smoke while you’re confused as you can’t recall your name.

Anyway, MORE BABY DRAGONS!!!!! (Yes this is a continuation of the black baby dragon post thing.)

I love them all very dearly. They were all part of the ‘curse’ thingy, but I have more development on some rather than others.

Blue dragon; was a human wanderer in the desert with no particular affiliation. They liked drawing what they came across, but particularly things that could fly. Out of all the baby dragons, they were the first to get on the wing, and is the most confident flyer out of all of them. They were taken in by a clan of blue dragons, and were forced to adapt to life with a lot of annoying siblings, but they’d easily give their life to protect them.

Green dragon; I don’t have much on this one, just know that a pair of green dragons saved them from a bad situation and took them in. The baby green dragon desires dangerous adventures above all else, which doesn’t fit well with the fact that green dragons are the most protective over their young.

Red dragon; no clue. But I’m pretty sure they’re the ones that were the catalyst for the ‘curse’ and something else about dying in a battle. Idk. They’re very cute tho.

Brass dragon; a human from a small town in a desert. He kept to himself and spent most of his time in the small library provided. He didn’t like to socialise unless someone was equally into academic studies wanted to discuss something with him (read ; autistic. Yes, I am projecting my autism onto this character, because brass dragons remind me of a lot of the traits). When he turned into a dragon he couldn’t return to his town, but luckily found another brass dragon in their abode. This baby dragon is the smartest of the group, and the most curious about how this curse came to be.

White dragon; where as the others were pretty lucky to find the support they needed in the form of older dragons, this baby white dragon was an elf slave who was almost killed by a white dragon. The slaves were being transported when a white dragon attacked the vehicles while they were on a cliff, both slavers and slaves were killed but the curse took hold as the elf slave fell of the edge. Even as the adult white dragon saw a small white dragon, they were still intent on hunting and killing it. The baby dragon barely got away alive, and she decided the best course of action was to warn the nearest town about the impending dragon attack.

The designs were my interpretation of the dragon species, I’m very well aware they don’t look like the canon traits. This is both for cuteness and just what I would want to draw.

TO THOSE MAKING NATIVE OCS

I see this a lot, no one has actual names, or any reference for names, that are legit Native American, varying among the tribes, for their characters.

Babynames.com and shit like that will give you names made up by white people.

However, I’ve got your solution.

Native-Languages  is a good website to turn to for knowledge on a lot of native things, including native names. If you’re unsure about the names you’ve picked, they even have a list of made up names here!

Please don’t trust names like babynames.com for native names, they’re made up and often quite offensive to the cultures themselves.

You'll notice that people do this in multiplayer games for much the same reason!

I did not expect this much traction with the Jack Frost rides a snow wraith au. I got another animatic/animation in the works but I’m on holiday and I’m not back til Thursday. Sooooo, don’t worry, I’m not abandoning it or anything. Take a quick doodle of a teething snow-wraith, done on my phone, for a bit of serotonin.

Could I offer you a baby black dragon in these trying times?

I got this dnd idea where several kids get turned into dragons (through ‘cursed’ amulets), each a different colour. I don’t think I’ll ever develop it much further, but I can always make some cool art.

Idk how black dragons normally handle their young, all I know is that they have a very “hands off” approach, and leave the protecting to their lizard folk slaves. But I thought it would be funny if the adult black dragon was so genuinely confused when a whirmling -who they just presume was theirs- is so nice and sweet to animals, but says things like “we sacrificed a dude using that flower’s poison once” and “my mother told me to always take care preserving the eyes, or our god wouldn’t accept the sacrifice.” And the adult dragon is just like ??????????

I wanted to name the Jack’s Snowwraith ‘Windstrike’ but apparently there’s a dragon species called windstriker so back to the drawing board I go.

I finally have an idea or plot in the Jack rides a SnowWraith au!

So, I’ve decided that Jack doesn’t have his powers, but he does fall through ice and eventually gets white hair. I might do a small animatic with the story about that later. Anyway.

After Jack barely survives falling into a frozen river, Jack comes across an abandoned egg in a tiny burrow. Not knowing where he is, and the egg being warm to the touch -he decides to stay put and try to survive through hypothermia. Jack finds out he bit off more than he could chew when the egg finally hatches, and he doesn’t have the heart to leave the hatchling alone.

Imprinting was the most obvious choice with the fact that Jack doesn’t have his powers, but I wanted him to have a really close relationship with the snowwraith (still doesn’t have a name). 

Also, take note I that I wasn’t looking at refs while drawing, and I’ve never seen a baby snowraith so I assumed they were like baby rhinos. Bad eye-sight and everything.

 Also also, See 7? Well the reason the snowraith has their wing on Jack’s head is cuz I work with birds of prey and every now and then they’ll just drape their wing over your head. Some more than others, but they just leave it there sometimes and expect you to be fine with it (which I am). It’s normally the great grey owl, Misty, cuz she bites the glove looking for food and in the process flaps her wings.

Me; Acts nonchalant about a new au

Also me; *frothing at the mouth, imaginary scenes in my head constantly, spending hours on this*

So, I kinda want Jack to be his usual mischievous self, accidently becoming a cryptid in the process. Obviously, I’m making it Frostcup too, cuz chemistry. But once more thats really as far as I’ve taken it. Idk about the time-line, why/how Jack is in the archipelago, or if Jamie should be in it. I think I should add Jamie, he’s great.  

This was only meant to be a doodle but here we are.

Woahhhh, actual doodles? More likely than you think. So, I just finished binging OTNWAS, and it was one of the most spectacular fics I’ve ever read. It got me thinking about an au where Jack managed to be able to tame and ride a snow wraith. But that’s the extent of my thought process, idk if in this au he has his powers or not, or if snow wraith’s trust was given or earnt through Jack’s actions. I don’t even know what he’d call the dragon. He seems like the kind of guy who names something with a lot of thought, but 99% of the time refers to them as nicknames or curses them out. Poor snow wraith has no idea what their name actually is.

I’m sure someone's already done something with Jack taming a snow wraith, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, I’d be very grateful. I am very hungry for content, but I may just be having to do my own thing.

Shoutout to everyone on my dash that kept filling it with ROTTMNT until I learned that there was an autistic turtle, which is the only reason I decided to watch it.

(I adore RC9GN and Ben’s characters but TMNT was never my thing so I didn’t really want to watch it. Then I learned who Donnie was and that was probably the fastest decent into a fandom I’ve ever done)

Thought more about it, and realized the evil karma powers aren’t awful color wise, I still would change them up a little, give ‘Em a few minor tweaks to get me to like them. Except for one.

the Smoke power is UGLY in bad karma. Especially the smoke dash.

But honestly,here’s what I would’ve done for the colors:

smoke: make it more black,embers less red more dark orange, maybe a little hint of red in the flecks but definitely more focus on the black and darker orange.

neon: make it more hot pink than reddish hot pink, a little closer to Fetch’s color scheme but keeping the pink to orange/yellow

video= honestly this one can stay red, maybe add a bit of orange at the edges?

concrete= I don’t think it changes with karma, (which is fine) maybe make it a bit more jagged ? Otherwise I’d leave it as is.

every time i see art of a character where they have dark bags under their eyes i kick my legs and giggle like a teenage girl with a crush. like yes. yes!!! put some deranged but exhausted and utterly out of fucks to give vibes on that beast.

How fucking annoying is it when you feel so restless with creative energy but you can’t decide what to do with it and when you finally try to create something it comes out shit so you just give up and sit there being all creatively annoyed and jittery.

Soooo, I just made a new oc for no reason, and when I saw that the pic was overly crowded at the top but too empty at the bottom, instead of removing some details, I just put the oc in stockings sooo,,,,

Anyway, don’t take this as a good example of how to make an oc, the colours are all over the place and it doesn’t make sense. But that was the point of this oc anyway.

I may have gotten a lil attached already but oh well. That being said, I haven’t named them yet, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Izuku, bloody with several new broken bones; “Iida there’s some villains hiding out in that building, you have to believe me, we need to get a pro-hero before they can escape!”

Izuku, annoyed but knows this has to be done; *rolls a nat 1*

Izuku, concerned but glad he has advantage; *rolls another nat 1*

Izuku; …

Iida; “I don’t believe you.”

Izuku, fighting a villain he’s seen before and taken a whole ton of notes on; “what do you mean?! I’ve studied this guy’s weaknesses and fighting patter-“ *rolls a 2, plus modifier is 4*

Dm; “you know that they’re vulnerable to knives, if you stab them, they will bleed out.”

Izuku; “what?? I know more than that! I know they have a weakness to… a weakness… uh..”

Izuku, now fighting a new villain never seen before with a ambiguous quirk; “what? How could I have any idea what this person is and what their weaknesses are-“ *rolls a 19, plus modifiers is 21*

Dm; “you know that their quirk relies on a consistent source of power to maintain their control, that their sight can only see things that move, and that their decent into villainhood started with the death of their pet turtle.”

Izuku; “well I guess I know now!!”

I’d like to believe that the quirk isn’t just having some narrator, but has actually manifested its own omnipotence when the quirk arose.

Dm; “roll a D20”

Izuku who just got a package; “why??”

Dm; “just do it”

Izuku; *rolls a 13*

Dm; “the package has arrived in one piece, but you will find a few cracks.”

Dm, sculpting an underground dungeon with lots of doors and traps, now inserting a load of enemies with traumatic backstories; “ok, I got ya”

Izuku, with a world record of broken bones; “becAUSE THESE ONES ARE CURSED”

Izuku; “also can you make them purple and sparkly?”

Izuku, failing a stealth check and being found by the BBEG; “well you see, I was actually just going grocery shopping when I came across one of your guys and they said that you were out of eggs and milk so it’d be absolutely amazing if I could pick you all up some as well, so I did and that’s why I’m here right now, in your secret base.”

Shigaraki; “in your hero uniform?”

Izuku; “…yes”

Dm; “roll a persuasion check with disadvantage”

Izuku; “rolls a nat 20, then a 19”

Shigaraki; “sounds legit, continue.”

The more I think about this au the more I love it, dnd’s appeal comes from the improv of the players and death defying dice rolls (or rather dice that just want to see you burn). A casual d20 check which resorts in a nat 1 could create an entire subplot which last for days and only resorts in you finally finding that sock you were after the entire time. And so when it comes to this au, it could just go completely off the rails, you don’t need reasoning, you have dice which dictates everything.

Okay Izuku's quirk is called DND! When he turns 4, he sees some dice, a few books and a notebook that appeared on his desk.

Okay so this one too I had to think about a bit, books just appearing sounded a bit anticlimactic so here's my take.

- on Izuku Midoriya's fourth birthday he is suddenly enveloped in a green glow and a voice introduces itself as his DM or Dungeon Master system that will help him navigate his quirk and his adventure called life.

- the DM can either be heard only by Izuku or by everyone in close to proximity to Izuku, depending on the situation.

- along with the DM he mentally has access to several books or catalogs starting with the players guide, the others he can access later on in his journey.

- Izuku is ecstatic about the activation of his quirk and spends the entire day researching and his player sheet starts to form from then on out.

- DM informs him that he will have to choose a player class, but he can also decide to multi class later on or change his class entirely.

- any spells he learns will be able to be used even if he switches classes.

- his deeds in real life will boost up his stats.

- and whenever needs to use specific stats a mental dice appears and by tapping it he rolls the dice.

- the dice also appear before certain outside events happen.

- so like he's walking under a bridge and all of a sudden the dice appears and the DM states "roll for initiative" and Izuku is just like "what????"

- Izuku's main class is paladin but has also multi classes as an arcane rouge and cleric before and has those skill sets.

- by the time he is in middle school his stats are:

Strength: 9

Dexterity: 13

Constitution: 11

Wisdom: 17

Intelligence: 15

Charisma: 6

- also if Izuku has anyone join his party he can add bonuses to their abilities or moves and view their stats and possibly their character sheet depending on how close they are.

[TURN UP YOUR BRIGHTNESS SO YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE SOMETHING] it’s mermay so I may as well complete a h2o x infamous comic I’ve refused to finish cuz it includes a vehicle and I absolutely despise drawing them.

Reggie saw everything, but whether he believes what he saw is questionable.

Bonus;

It’s Eugene btw, since he’s the more heroic one even before Delsin finds him in the game. Also, my initial idea was to have him just pick up the car and put it back, but then I realised that even though the mer people are huuuge, they’re not big enough to just lift up a car and plonk it back onto the road. So instead he used a grapple invention he made, which not only fixes the problem, but it actually makes Eugene’s character more interesting. Plus I could use the grapple that was confiscated as a reason as to why Delsin and Eugene meet.

As you can probably tell, this au never truly leaves my mind. I may not draw it for long periods of time, but it’s not like other aus i abandon cuz I’m not in the fandom anymore. It’s probably cuz I’ve done so much world building that I don’t want to just leave it all behind. So don’t expect frequent updates, but know that they can come whenever and wherever.

Plus plus, I’m so so so proud of this lil shot of him, it’s probably the best dynamic pose I’ve done ( which isn’t that good but I acknowledge that it’s really good for me). Look at the physicsssssssss
