It’s only been one episode , but i think the reason i love it so much and keep rewatching it is that i feel seen in a way. i don’t have DID but i do have adhd and bipolar disorder and the amount of times i forget things, feel like two different people when manic and depressive episode occur hit home for me. The moment where Steven realizes he messed up again and forgot again when it came to his date made me feel so heartbroken and wish that i could hug him.

i always feel so guilty and bad when i forget to do things for my family or forget that i was texting them and i mess things up for them. i feel so embarrassed when i realize that i can’t remember where i left things or what i was talking about with someone or where i was supposed to be or do.

Idk i feel awful for Steven, but it’s also a relief in a way to know that im not alone and that other people struggle with memory functions and identity problems. With bipolar it’s hard a lot of the times to know who i really am or what i really want in life bc when im depressed i have no hope for the future, but when im manic i have all these great plans and ideas and feel unstoppable. And when it’s mixed i just loathe myself but also love myself at the same time.

Anyways, MoonKnight just might be my new favorite super hero <3
