Hey Cherrry,

First off, I hope you had a Happy New Year! 🥳 Normally New Years makes me a bit sad but I actually felt pretty good about it this year. It might be because I’m really excited about one of my resolutions: I decided to bite the bullet and start writing/posting my own fanfic! (Not on this blog though lmao)

I only started seriously reading fanfic this past year, but I have always been enticed by the idea of writing it. The thought of sharing any of my potential work used to intimidate me (and still does a little tbh), but reading your writing and seeing how you don’t care about what others think have inspired me to push myself and write what I want. 

Though I know writing is an intrinsic thing, I hope that you know your work does have an impact on your readers. I think it’s super important to let fanfic authors know we as readers appreciate you all so much for the amazing and accessible work you give us (for free!). 

Sorry if I sounded like I was rambling lol but that's all I wanted to say. Again, Happy New Year and I hope you’re staying safe and healthy 🫶
