Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Gold
Revenge is a dish best served Gold
Part 1
Soo I moved to London to try get somethin outta life more than that small town in Oklahoma was ever gonna offer me 3 months in an I was already wanting to go back man...

Got a couple people I know, not many though, but my roomie Matty.... the guy can be such a moron. not like he's mean, but we aint got anything in common at all, I was looking for a buddy who could show me round, we same age basically 25 and he looked like he was into same stuff, wanted him like be my brother from another mother. But nah, after I moved in found out he's hella narcissistic always buying new styles, he mad into vintage 70s fashion, plays old music very loud all the time, smokes joints like a furnace, and whenever I ask him if he wanna do something he always busy or just kinda like 'Its cool dude, not my thing' means we basically never speak and I heard him talking shit about his 'bore of a roommate Ashton' to friends.

I'd been out skating, walked in to Oasis blaring through Matty's boombox, him sat with 2 friends and a lotta empty bottles on the coffee table. He barely even noticed me until he perked up 'Who pissed in your coffee this morning lol?' he said jokingly, I just ignored him and went upstairs.
I just gamed for a few hours, missing my friends back home, I then went to get a coke from the kitchen and guess who was standing at the back door, smoking a joint as per usual he turned his head 'Got this party happenin over the street, that fancy place, you wanna come offers there but ur probs too boring man' he flicked the joint out the door and strutted past.
It was early afternoon and wondered what party he meant, like had there even been invites? He does know what's going on pretty much every night round here, any excuse for him to pose until I saw what he probably meant, that fancy white house over the road, never rlly paid attention to it before but today there was a gold Porsche pulling up outside, definitely someone with money, and who deffo don't mind standing out.

A guy with blonde curly hair got out, he was wearing all gold, like everything to match the ride, wow this guy looked good, maybe a lil in ur face but still. Wonder who he is?

I stared out the window for a bit, wondering about the guy I'd seen go into the house opposite so hot, amazing body, basically opposite of me, fuck I wish that was me...
A lil while later bout 5pm I'd had to go out to the store, I got to near end of my street when I saw 2 gold Lambos turning into our street, wow more fancy cars in all gold? On my way back I was tryna find my keys when this gold Merc pulls up.
The dude that got out, fuckk I couldn't look away, the guy was so hot, gold football tracksuit, gold jordans, lotta gold chains. I wished that was me man.

It was 6:30pm when my door flew open, Matty leaned in 'Last chance mate you coming out or you gonna be boring as usual?' I was gonna just decline and not let him bother me, some reason tho, I said 'Okay then'. He looked surprised almost like he knew what I was gonna say and then I said the opposite 'Hurry tf up then I aint waiting around for ur arse'.

He had his two friends from before, plus me tagging along, we went out the front door as the sun was low in the sky and the other side of the street was lined with parked gold cars, you could hear the music inside the house already plus a few already kinda drunk people hanging around near the door.
Just as we were about to go in he stepped behind his two friends and pulled me aside 'Now try not make me look bad mate, aint rlly into football but this is being hosted by that new team for their new members, their rlly popular and don't want u embarrassing me ok?' I just nodded accepting that in Matty's eyes I was just there to make Matty look better.

The party was basically my idea of hell, rlly loud music, lotta people some drunk some not and I literally didn't know anybody apart from Matty so I basically found a quiet corner and tried my best to not look like I was desperate to get outta here. One of the guys dressed in gold then looked my way, he gave me a smile and I smiled back to be nice, he was deffo one of the guys hosting. He went off to talk to 3 other guys, one wearing full kit, one wearing a gold tracksuit and puffer jacket and the other a gold nike hoodie and gold football shorts, he glanced at me while talking to them. Shit I probs wasn't invited, and they noticed I aint meant to be here, the guy then turned and headed towards me I wanted to just run for the door but it was like my feet were glued to the floor.
The guy then sat down next to me 'Yo bro you okay?' I legit thought I was gonna get thrown out, fuck Matty would find that hilarious, 'Um, yeah man I'm okay' he grinned 'U don't look it bro, seen u come in with some peeps you not with em?' still basically on the edge of passing out I replied 'meh, they aint friends, I just tagged along' he leaned forwards to see my face more clearly 'Ahh well we all bros in the team ye, there for each other always, I'm Scott btw' 'Um I'm Ashton' 'U aint from round here are u bro?' 'Oklahoma' I replied he nodded 'U deffo looking like u need some bros mate, and maybe a lil payback on the peeps who ditched you' I looked up 'Its okay man am used to it' he offered me a glass with a golden coloured drink in it 'Take this bro, should help u out and if u wanna hang come sit with us ye?' he then got up 'Um, thanks man' I smiled back at him as he went back to the guys he was with earlier.

I had no idea what this drink was, or if it was spiked, of if i even liked it but what the hell, not like Matty gonna give a fuck if I come in wasted and it not like I live miles away, I basically downed it right away, fuck that was nice, wish I knew what it was.

It was then I felt it, idk what it was but it was weird like the room kinda became woozy, and felt a warmth across my skin. I then felt a knot in my stomach like I was gonna throw up 'Shit!' I slammed the glass down on a table and looked frantically for a bathroom, there wasn't one but I saw the stairs, gotta be a bathroom upstairs, and less people. I sprinted for the stairs and down the hallway at the top, all the doors looked identical in the dim light, I opened the nearest one into a rly fancy bedroom, I made it about halfway across the room when the pain in my stomach went away but then my whole body started to feel weird 'Fucking hell!' my mind started to go foggy as I watched the first things happen, my arms started to swell, not just my arms, all of me like my scrawny arms were growing to that of a gym rat!

My mind started to zone out, Bros need to train crossed it, wtf? You wanna be a bro don't u? U wanna join the team don't u? U wanna become gold don't u? WTF IS THIS as my I started to flex my arms, show off ur muscles bro be proud of em, time to gold up bro, become one of us.
The warmth on my skin increased and my arms then began to turn gold, not just my arms but my entire body, I pulled off my hoodie to see my torso slowly fading to gold, was like it was spreading!

Further and further, up to my neck, I looked in the mirror opposite the bed, my face as well, fuckk help me!

The sensation continued, I felt my body begin to change more, my eyes started to turn gold as well, my hair started to fall out like all of me was turning into a shiny gold muscle freak, my mind was barely able to keep up, zoning in and out to see the changes happening. Growing, golden, bro.

It was then my thoughts began to morph, fuck this felt nice, I feel like a bro đ a golden bro đ one of the team đ one of the golden army đ

It was then my body froze, like a huge golden statue, frozen in the position, flexing its huge muscles, I felt my conscious sink into a golden haze I felt amazing, beneath the golden skin, my mind and body began to transform...
Part 2 due asap bros already underway. Remember to message out Captain if u wanna be part of our Golden Team and be a bro đđđ

Playing some baseball for the Golden Army
Thanks bro @brodygold for deckin me out, fit as fuck

As James sat in the chair, gripping the golden jersey tighter, his mind raced. The room felt smaller with every second, the energy of the golden team around him almost overwhelming. Their smiles were broad, but behind them was a certain intensity that made his heart pound faster.
"Bro, you're overthinking it," one of them said, leaning in slightly. His muscles bulged under the shimmering AC Milan kit, and his grin was so wide, it was almost unsettling. "Just put it on. Youâll see. Youâll be like us in no time."
James shifted in his seat, glancing down at the golden jersey. âI donât know⊠this feels weird,â he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper. âI mean, Iâm not sure if this is⊠for me.â
The room erupted in laughter, not mocking, but knowing. Theyâd heard it before. One of the team members clapped his hands on his thighs, grinning. âDude, thatâs exactly what we all said at first! Itâs totally normal to feel confused. But trust me, once that jerseyâs on, everything becomes clear.â
Another chimed in, crossing his arms over his chest. âYou wonât even remember why you were hesitating. I mean, look at usâdonât we look like we have doubts?â
James frowned, looking at the way they all stood confidently, their golden kits almost glowing in the sunlight pouring through the windows. âBut⊠what if I donât want to change?â he asked, his voice shaking a little. âWhat if Iâm fine the way I am?â
The man across from him leaned forward, his voice dropping a little. âJames, bro⊠thatâs what everyone says. But the thing is, you donât really know what youâre missing until you try it.â His eyes locked onto Jamesâs, a spark of something deeper. âYouâll feel stronger, more confidentâpart of something bigger than yourself.â
James blinked, looking around the room. The pressure was mounting, but his head swirled with questions. "But... what happens when I put it on? Do I change immediately?"
The group laughed again, this time with a touch more reassurance. "Nah, bro, itâs not magic,â one of them said, smiling. âYou just start feeling betterâlike everything makes sense. You'll be thinking clearer, feeling more confident. And before you know it, you're one of us."
James glanced at the jersey again, his hands trembling. The fabric seemed to shimmer in his grasp, almost as if it was waiting for him. But deep down, he could feel the pull. He could feel his resistance slipping, just like the others before him.
Still unsure, he looked back up, confusion clouding his face. âAnd what if I donât want to be like you?â
The room grew quieter for a moment. The man standing closest to James smiled, but his eyes were serious. âBro⊠thatâs not really how this works. Once you put it on, youâll want to be like us. Youâll understand.â
Jamesâs heart raced, his fingers curling tighter around the jersey. The decision was closing in on him, but the confusion lingered in his mind. Could he resist? Could he stay the same?
Or was it already too late?

Golden Adonis
After looking around the facilities of the Golden Army you were surprised to see they didn't seem to have anything weird going on. They were just a bunch of friendly jocks who enjoyed playing soccer and treating each other like family. You decided to keep an eye on their games.
You noticed the team's biggest fan at every game all season. He was some scrawny nerd who had painted himself in full gold bodypaint. You watched as he cheered every time the team scored a goal. You had never seen someone get so into a sport.
But after the last game of the regular season you noticed something, the team called the fan down for a meet and greet. He was so happy. They even offered him his own jersey as a temporary member of the team.
Nothing seemed off, but you followed behind them stealthily. You watched as the scrawny nerd underwent a rapid transformation. In mere minutes, you couldn't even tell he was the same person as a golden adonis stood next to the team carrying a golden soccer ball.
Was this jock that same nerd? You knew you couldn't stick around to find out.
You kind of hoped they wouldn't find you, but at the same time you couldn't deny that transformation was hot. Maybe signing up wouldn't be such a bad thing.
So are you saying that even something like wrestling or biking has a Golden division? I recently saw some guy in tight golden gear in my gym recently and I was wondering about that đ
Exactly, bro. Every sport is getting the Golden Army treatment. Weâll be dominating every sport soon enough, even the more obscure ones like water polo will be golden. Of course, with all these new sports comes rosters to fill. Thatâs where our recruiters come into the picture.
You happened to run into one of our top recruiters at the gym. Drewâs the head of the wrestling team, and his imposing figure means he doesnât take no for an answer. He noticed you checking him out, but he didnât say anything. He just winked at you and went back to his routine.
You couldnât get the image of Drew out of your head. His shiny golden singlet perfectly fitting to his jock frame. Imagining a singlet on your own body. You needed to see him again. You need to wear that singlet. You need to be a golden soldier in our army.
So you head back the next day. Drew has a knowing smile on his face, as if heâs expecting you. And he is. Heâs one of our top recruiters for a reason. He hands you the golden singlet and you immediately put it on, eager to become a true bro.
As you put the singlet on, your body changes to fit into the perfect image of a wrestler. Your mind goes blank, only being able to focus on how to wrestle and hang with your bros. You donât need anything else, bro. We can take care of you. Your old name is soon forgotten, replaced with a cool new jock name for your cool new jock body. How about Dale? I think it suits you.
Welcome to the team, bro! I know youâll fit in nicely. Everyone always does.

Absolutely fantastic story Captain.
The Golden Office: Prequel
It started innocently enough. Brody, the department manager, had always been focused on pushing the team to meet targets. He was the classic middle-managerâdriven, slightly stressed, and always running between meetings. But that all changed the day he was invited to lunch by Ryan, a regional director who had recently joined the company.
Brody had noticed something odd about Ryan lately. The man had come into the company wearing a typical business suit, but over the past month, Brody saw him transitioning into something differentâhis appearance, his attitude, even his clothes. Ryan had started wearing this strange golden jerseyâa tight, shimmering AC Milan kit that made him look more like an athlete than a director. And ever since, his demeanor had changed too. He was more laid-back, confident, but with an edge, like he knew something others didnât.
Brodyâs curiosity got the better of him, and he agreed to meet Ryan for lunch. The moment he walked into the cafĂ©, Ryan greeted him with a firm handshake and an even firmer grin.
âGood to see you, Brody,â Ryan said, his golden jersey glinting under the lights. âTake a seat, bro. Iâve got something special for you.â
Brody sat down, eyeing Ryanâs muscular frame. He had never seen Ryan look this fit before. Ryan noticed his gaze and smirked. âYouâve been wondering about the kit, havenât you? I can tell.â
Brody cleared his throat, trying to play it off. âYeah, I mean, itâs... different. Didnât know AC Milan had a fan club in the office.â
Ryan laughed, a deep, relaxed sound. âOh, itâs much more than that, bro. Trust me. Itâs all part of something bigger.â He leaned in, his voice lowering. âAnd I think youâre ready for it.â
Brody shifted in his seat. âReady for what?â
Ryan didnât answer immediately. Instead, he waved the waiter over and ordered for both of them. âTwo golden coffees, please.â
Brody raised an eyebrow. âGolden coffee?â
Ryan grinned. âYouâll see, bro. Itâs the first step.â
The coffee arrived shortly after, and Brody stared at the cup in front of him. The liquid inside was unlike anything heâd seenâit shimmered, almost glowing, with a deep golden hue. The scent was rich and intoxicating, making his mouth water despite his hesitation.
Ryan lifted his cup, taking a long sip, his eyes locking with Brodyâs. âGo ahead. Take a sip, bro. Itâll change everything.â

Brody hesitated for a moment, but curiosity and peer pressure won out. He lifted the cup and took a cautious sip. The taste exploded on his tongueâsmooth, sweet, with a strange kick of energy that hit him like a shot of adrenaline. His entire body tingled as warmth spread through his veins, his muscles tightening as if he had just finished a workout.
Ryan smiled knowingly. âFeels good, right?â
Brody blinked, his mind spinning. âWhat... what is this?â
Ryan leaned back in his chair, flexing his arms. âItâs the start of something amazing, bro. Once youâve had the golden coffee, youâll start feeling the pull. And soon, youâll be ready to put on the kit.â
Brodyâs head buzzed with energy. He wanted to ask more questions, but the coffee had clouded his thoughts. All he could focus on was how good he feltâstronger, sharper, more alive.
The next day, Brody couldnât stop thinking about the golden coffee. He had been skeptical at first, but the way it made him feelâhe hadnât experienced anything like it before. It was as if the coffee had unlocked something inside him, giving him a surge of power he couldnât ignore.
That afternoon, Ryan showed up at Brodyâs office, unannounced. He was wearing the same golden AC Milan kit, looking more confident than ever.
âBrody, bro, you ready to take the next step?â Ryan asked, tossing a folded golden jersey onto Brodyâs desk. âYouâve had the coffee. Now itâs time to join the team.â
Brody stared at the jersey, feeling the same pull he had felt when drinking the coffee. His fingers twitched toward it, but a part of him still resisted. âRyan, I donât know... this feels... weird.â
Ryan shrugged, a casual smile on his face. âI get it, bro. Itâs a big change. But trust me, once you slip this on, you wonât look back. Youâll be better in every way.â
Brody looked at the jersey again. The way it shimmered in the light, the golden crest glinting, almost felt like it was calling to him. With a deep breath, he grabbed it and slowly pulled it over his head.
The moment the fabric touched his skin, Brody gasped. His muscles seemed to swell, his chest tightening as the jersey molded to his body. His posture straightened, his shoulders broadening, and a rush of energy shot through himâstronger than what the coffee had given him. His mind cleared, and suddenly everything felt right.
Ryan clapped him on the back. âThere you go, bro! Looking good!â
Brody flexed his arms, watching his biceps bulge under the tight golden jersey. He felt powerful, more in control than ever. âBro... this is unreal.â
Ryan grinned. âTold you. Welcome to the team, bro. Youâre one of us now.â

The following week, Brodyâs transformation didnât go unnoticed. He started coming into the office every day wearing his golden AC Milan kit, his once-stressed demeanor replaced with pure confidence. He no longer talked about deadlines or quotasâinstead, he flexed, laughed, and kept throwing around the word âbroâ in nearly every sentence.
His employees exchanged confused glances as they saw their once-hard-driving manager become a jockish, overconfident version of himself.

One day, during a team meeting, Brody casually tossed his legs onto the conference table and grinned at his team. âAlright, bros, letâs crush this week! Weâre all leveling up soon. Whoâs ready to join me?â
His employees looked around awkwardly. Steve, the quietest member of the team, raised his hand timidly. âUh, join you for what, Brody?â
Brodyâs grin widened as he reached under the table and pulled out another golden jersey. âTo join the team, bro! Itâs all about leveling up. The golden kit makes you stronger, faster, better. Youâve seen it in action.â
Steve frowned, eyeing the jersey like it was something alien. âIâm not sure, Brody. This seems⊠weird. Whatâs with the whole âbroâ thing?â
Brody leaned forward, his muscular arms resting on the table. âThatâs just how it is, bro. Once youâre part of the team, you get it. Youâre stronger, more confident, and, well, youâre a bro! Thereâs no room for hesitation, just winning.â
The team stared at him in silence. Steve shook his head. âI donât think thatâs for me, Brody. I like the way things are.â
Brodyâs smile tightened. âCome on, bro, donât be like that. Just try it on. Once you do, youâll see what Iâm talking about.â
Steve looked around, uncomfortable with everyone watching him. But Brodyâs insistence was unnerving. Reluctantly, he took the jersey from Brodyâs hands, holding it as if it might bite him.

A few days passed, and Steve hadnât put on the golden kit. Brody noticed. So did Ryan. And while Steve had managed to dodge wearing it so far, the pressure kept mounting.
One afternoon, as Steve was heading toward the breakroom, he found himself face-to-face with Mark and Alex, two guys who had already joined Brodyâs team. They were standing by the coffee machine, both wearing their golden AC Milan kits, flexing casually while sipping on their golden coffees.

âYo, Steve, bro,â Mark called out, grinning widely. âWhy arenât you wearing your jersey yet? What, scared to level up?â
Steveâs heart raced. He had hoped to avoid this conversation. âUh, yeah, Iâm just not sure itâs for me, guys.â
Alex laughed, tossing his empty coffee cup into the bin. âBro, you donât get it yet. Once you put it on, everything changes. Youâll be part of the team. Trust me, youâll feel amazing.â
Before Steve could respond, Brody appeared from around the corner, his golden jersey glinting under the fluorescent lights. âSteve, my man, whatâs the holdup? Itâs time to join us, bro.â
Steve shook his head, backing up slightly. âIâm fine, Brody. I donât need the jersey.â
Brodyâs smile faded slightly, but his voice remained smooth. âSteve, bro, this isnât optional. Itâs time to level up.â
Mark and Alex stepped closer, each of them holding golden jerseys in their hands. Steveâs heart pounded in his chest as he backed up against the wall. âNo, I donât want toââ
But before he could finish, Brody and Mark moved quickly, pulling the golden jersey over his head. Steve struggled for a moment, but as soon as the fabric touched his skin, his resistance began to fade. His eyes widened as his body tensed, the jersey tightening around his chest and arms. His muscles swelled, his posture straightening as the transformation took hold.
Within moments, Steveâs face relaxed, his confusion replaced by a wide grin. He flexed his arms, admiring the way the golden jersey hugged his new, athletic frame. âBro... this is sick!â
Brody clapped him on the back. âTold you, bro! Welcome to the team, Chase 18.â
Steveâno, Chaseâlaughed, his voice deeper now, more confident. âBro, I feel amazing! Why didnât I do this sooner?â
Alex and Mark high-fived him, their grins matching his. âTold you, bro! The golden kitâs the best. Weâre all bros now.â

The resistance
Arthur and Luke sat quietly in the cramped breakroom, whispering to one another, eyes darting across the office. They were part of the last remaining resistanceâa small group that had managed to avoid being recruited into the golden team. Nearly everyone else had succumbed, one by one, to the allure of the shimmering golden AC Milan kits. The jerseys, once a strange curiosity, now signified power and dominance in the office, worn proudly over white button-up shirts.
Arthur, sharp-eyed and determined, had resisted the longest. He saw what the kits did to people. First, they changed their bodiesâmaking them stronger, more confidentâbut it didnât stop there. Their minds followed, their personalities flattening, becoming more jockish and loyal to the team. Words like âbroâ flooded the office as workers flexed and laughed their way through their days, the golden coffee fueling their transformations.
Luke had been close to breaking. He almost wore the kit once, but Arthur had pulled him back from the edge, reminding him of who he really was. They had agreedâno matter what happened, they would resist together.
But now, things were getting worse. Brody and his golden team were coming for them, and they knew it.

It started subtly, just like with the others. Arthur found the golden spiral card in his desk drawer one morning, the swirling design almost pulling him in. He tossed it in the trash immediately, but the message was clear: they were targeting him next.
Luke noticed the tension in Arthurâs jaw as he sat at his desk, eyes scanning the office. He leaned over, voice low. âYou okay, man?â
Arthur nodded stiffly. âThey left the spiral for me. Theyâre coming soon. I can feel it.â
Luke clenched his fists. âThen we have to act fast. We canât wait for them to surround you.â
They met after hours in a forgotten corner of the officeâa spot where the golden team rarely went, too consumed with flexing and joking near the breakroom or conference room. It was the last place where they could talk freely without fear of being overheard.
âTheyâve already converted too many,â Arthur said, his voice quiet but steady. âWeâre running out of time.â
Luke nodded. âWeâll need a plan. If we donât get out soon, theyâllââ
He stopped mid-sentence. Footsteps echoed down the hallway, growing louder. The door to the small breakroom creaked open, and in walked Brody, flanked by two others from the golden team, all wearing their kits proudly over white shirts.
Brody grinned, his muscles flexing under the tight golden fabric. âHey, Arthur. Luke. What are you guys doing here all alone?â
Lukeâs heart pounded in his chest. Arthur stepped forward, trying to block Brodyâs path. âWeâre not interested, Brody. Just leave us alone.â
Brodyâs grin widened, but there was no humor in his eyes. âOh, Iâm afraid itâs not that simple anymore, bro. You see, weâve got a jersey with your name on it.â
From behind his back, Brody pulled out a folded golden AC Milan kit. It shimmered under the fluorescent lights, almost glowing as he tossed it onto the table between them.
âGo ahead,â Brody said smoothly. âJust try it on. Youâll feel amazing. Trust me, bro.â

Arthur stepped back instinctively, his eyes locked on the golden jersey. He knew what would happen if he touched itâheâd seen it too many times before. His resistance would crumble, his body would change, and soon, heâd be flexing and talking like the rest of them, lost to the golden team.
Luke could see the panic in Arthurâs eyes. Without thinking, he lunged forward, pushing the jersey away from Arthur. âStay away from him!â Luke shouted.
But in his haste to protect Arthur, Lukeâs hand brushed against the golden fabric.
The moment his fingers grazed the kit, Luke froze. His breath hitched as a jolt of electricity shot up his arm. His muscles tensed, and a strange warmth spread through his body, as if the jersey were reaching out, pulling him in. Luke tried to pull his hand away, but it was too lateâthe jersey had already started its work.
Arthurâs eyes widened in horror. âLuke, no!â
Lukeâs heart raced as he felt the pull of the golden kit. He had been so close to saving Arthur, but now, he was caught in the same trap. His hand trembled as he tried to fight the sensation, but the golden fabric was warm, inviting, and he could feel his resolve slipping away.
Brodyâs grin only widened as he watched Luke struggle. âI told you, bro. Itâs inevitable. Once you touch the kit, thereâs no going back. Only we can touch the kit as much as we like, see thisâ

Lukeâs body shuddered as the golden energy coursed through him. His muscles twitched, his mind buzzed, and he could feel the power of the jersey calling to him. It would be so easy to give in, to let the transformation take him, to join the team like so many others. But deep down, he didnât want it. He didnât want to lose himself.
âArthur...â Luke gasped, his voice strained as he tried to pull his hand away from the jersey. âI... I didnât mean to...â
Arthur rushed forward, grabbing Lukeâs wrist and pulling him back. âFight it, Luke. You can still fight it.â
But Lukeâs eyes were starting to glaze over, his body slowly responding to the touch of the golden kit. His muscles began to tense and swell, his posture straightening as the pull grew stronger.
Arthur shook him, desperate. âLuke! Stay with me!â
Luke groaned, his free hand gripping the edge of the table as he tried to hold on. The golden jersey sat between them, glowing with an almost sinister warmth, and Luke could feel it drawing him in, deeper and deeper.
âI donât... I donât want to be like them...â Luke muttered, his voice faltering. His grip on Arthurâs hand tightened, but the temptation was growing too strong.
Brody leaned against the wall, watching the struggle with amusement. âCome on, Luke. Youâve already touched it. You know what happens next. Just let go, bro. Youâll be one of us soon enough.â
Lukeâs body trembled as the last of his resistance began to slip. His muscles were already changing, thickening under his skin, preparing for the transformation that was about to overtake him.
Arthurâs heart pounded in his chest as he held onto Luke. He couldnât lose himânot like this.
With a sudden burst of strength, Arthur yanked Luke back, away from the golden jersey. Luke stumbled, falling into Arthurâs arms, breathing heavily. His body still buzzed with the energy from the kit, but for now, he had pulled him away from its grip.
Brody shook his head, almost disappointed. âYou canât hold out forever, Arthur. Lukeâs already halfway there. Itâs just a matter of time.â
But Arthur wasnât ready to give up. He helped Luke to his feet, his eyes filled with determination. âWeâre not done yet.â
Luke, though weak and shaken, nodded, still fighting the effects of the jersey. âIâm not... Iâm not gone yet, bro,â he said, his voice strained, but with a flicker of hope.
Brody and the others laughed, pushing off from the wall. âWeâll see, bro. Weâll see.â

The battle wasnât over, but Arthur knew they were running out of time. The golden team was closing in, and Lukeâs accidental touch had already put them at a disadvantage. But as long as they had each other, they still had a chanceâhowever slimâto resist the growing force of the golden team.
And as long as they could hold out, they would fight.
Arthurâs heart pounded in his chest as he and Luke bolted down the hallway, dodging cubicles and avoiding the watchful eyes of the golden team. Luke, still weak from the near-transformation, stumbled behind him, his breath coming in ragged gasps. The golden AC Milan jersey he had accidentally touched was clutched tightly in his hand, and as they ran, he hastily shoved it into his bag, hiding it from view.
Behind them, Brody and the other golden team members watched them go, trying to chase them. Brodyâs lips curled into a knowing smile, as if he already knew how this would end. âRun while you can, bros,â Brody muttered under his breath, flexing his arms. âYouâll be back.â

Arthur threw open the door to the office locker room, pulling Luke inside before slamming it shut. The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead, casting a dim glow over the rows of lockers and benches. They were alone for now, but Arthur knew it wouldnât be long before the golden team came looking.
Luke slumped against the wall, wiping the sweat from his brow. âI almost... I almost lost it, man,â he muttered, still shaking. His eyes flicked to the bag at his side, where the golden jersey now rested, hidden but pulsing with its strange energy.
Arthur crouched beside him, his voice low. âWe donât have much time. Theyâll come for us soon, and we need to be ready.â
Luke nodded weakly. âYeah, bro. But what now? We canât fight them...â
Arthur shook his head. âNo. But we can hide. We can blend in, pretend like nothingâs changed until we find a way out.â
The locker room was quiet, save for the distant hum of the office beyond the door. Arthur paced, his mind racing as he tried to come up with a way for them to escape without being spotted. Luke sat on the bench, still recovering from the strange sensations that had gripped him when he touched the jersey.
âWhat if we blend in?â Arthur said suddenly, breaking the silence.
Luke frowned. âWhat do you mean?â
Arthur gestured to the lockers. âThe golden team knows who we are. If we stay as we are, theyâll find us easily. But if we look like weâre part of the officeâlike weâre just another cog in the machineâthey might not notice us. We could pretend to be someone else.â
Luke raised an eyebrow. âLike... camouflage?â

Arthur nodded, scanning the rows of lockers. âExactly. If we dress like some of the othersâsomeone theyâre not targetingâthey wonât pay attention to us.â
Luke thought for a moment, then stood up, still shaky but determined. âYeah, bro... that could work. What do we need?â
Arthur crossed the room and opened a locker. Inside, he found what he was looking for: a neatly folded green suits. The classic attire for the accounting departmentâprofessional, bland, and most importantly, invisible.
âWeâll disguise ourselves as accountants,â Arthur said, pulling the suit from the locker. âNo one bothers the accounting department. They keep their heads down, they donât draw attention. We can use that to our advantage.â
Luke grabbed another suit from a nearby locker, slipping off his jacket and quickly changing into the new attire. As he buttoned up the shirt and adjusted the tie, he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. It was strangeâjust moments ago, he had been on the brink of transformation, nearly consumed by the golden teamâs power. But now, in this suit, he looked... normal again. Almost like he was one of them.
Arthur finished changing and nodded to Luke. âAlright. We look the part. Now we just need to act the part.â
With their green business suits on, they exited the locker room cautiously. The office was still alive with activity, golden team members walking around in their shimmering kits, laughing, flexing, and tossing "bro" into every sentence. But there were still a few normal employees milling about, unaware of the resistance lurking in their midst.
Arthur and Luke kept their heads down, walking with purpose as if they were late for a meeting. They passed a group of golden team membersâChase 18 and Blake 11 among themâwho were busy discussing their next workout, oblivious to the disguised pair slipping by.

âJust stay calm,â Arthur whispered. âDonât look at them.â
Luke nodded, his heart pounding in his chest. The temptation to glance back, to see if anyone was watching, gnawed at him, but he kept his focus straight ahead.
They made their way through the maze of cubicles, heading toward the exit at the far end of the office. With each step, Arthur could feel the weight of their situation. They were running out of time. They couldnât keep hiding foreverâeventually, the golden team would find them, and then it would be too late.
But for now, they had a chance. If they could get out of the building, they might be able to regroup with the rest of the resistance.
As they approached the exit, they passed Brody, who stood near the door with a few other members of the golden team. He was smiling as he chatted casually with his bros. His eyes flicked toward Arthur and Luke as they walked by, but he didnât say anything. Just smiled knowingly, as if he could sense something was off but didnât care to stop them.

Arthurâs breath hitched, but he kept walking, his steps steady, his face expressionless. He could feel Luke tense beside him, but they didnât break stride.
Once they were past, Arthur whispered, âAlmost there.â
Arthur and Luke moved through the office halls with purpose, dressed in their carefully chosen camouflageâtheir accounting business suits. The tension was thick in the air, but they had managed to avoid the eyes of the golden team as they worked their way toward the exit.
But what Arthur didnât knowâwhat Luke hadnât told himâwas that the moment he touched that shimmering golden kit, something had changed. Something inside Luke had weakened, a crack had formed in his resistance. As they ran for cover in the locker room, Luke had slipped on the jersey, letting its pull take over. Beneath the dull gray suit, the golden fabric now clung to his skin, tightening with every step, every breath.
Luke wasnât Luke anymore.
He was Jimmyâa new recruit for the golden team, silently waiting for the right moment.
The two of them walked with brisk, steady steps, blending into the office crowd. The weight of their situation pressed on them both, but for Arthur, there was still hope. He hadnât realized that hope was slipping away with every minute that passed.
Lukeâno, Jimmyâkept his head low, following Arthurâs lead, but his mind was no longer on escaping. His heart pounded with excitement beneath the golden jersey, hidden under his buttoned-up business suit. His transformation had already begun, the energy from the golden kit filling him with strength, confidence, and a new identity. He wasnât resisting anymore. He was part of the team. He wanted to be part of the team.
But for now, he needed to wait. Arthur still thought he was Lukeâstill thought they were on the same side.
As they approached the far end of the office, Arthurâs nerves were on high alert. The building was alive with activity, golden team members moving between departments, flexing, laughing, completely oblivious to the two âaccountantsâ slipping through their ranks.
âWeâre almost out,â Arthur whispered, glancing over his shoulder. âJust stay close.â
Jimmy nodded, his face calm, but inside, he was waiting for the inevitable moment when Arthur would find out. His fingers twitched against the fabric of his suit, feeling the golden jersey underneath.

They reached the final hallway just before the exit when things took a turn. Out of nowhere, a group of golden team members appearedâBrody at the front, grinning widely. Behind him, Chase 18 and Blake 11 stood, arms crossed, blocking their way.
âWell, well, well,â Brody said, his voice dripping with amusement. âI wondered how long you two would try to run.â
Arthur froze, his heart dropping into his stomach. They had been found.
âBrody,â Arthur said slowly, his eyes darting around the room, searching for an escape route. âLet us go. Weâre not part of this.â
Brody chuckled, shaking his head. âCome on, bro. Youâve been resisting long enough. But now? Itâs time.â
Arthur stepped back, but something felt off. He glanced at Luke, expecting his friend to be just as tense, just as ready to boltâbut Luke stood there, perfectly calm. Too calm.
âLuke?â Arthur asked, his voice tinged with confusion.
Lukeâno, Jimmyâsmiled slowly, and for the first time, Arthur saw it. The change. The subtle shift in posture, the way Lukeâs body seemed just a little bulkier under the suit, the way he was standing too confidently.
Then, as if on cue, Jimmy unbuttoned his suit jacket, revealing the golden AC Milan jersey shimmering underneath. The golden crest gleamed against his chest, the fabric tight against his muscular frame. His transformation was complete.
Arthurâs stomach lurched. âLuke...?â

Jimmy laughed, flexing his arms under the golden kit. âItâs Jimmy now, bro. Lukeâs gone. I joined the team. I shouldâve done it sooner.â
Arthur took a step back, his mind reeling. âNo... You... You didnât.â
Jimmyâs grin only widened. âI did, bro. They got to me, and you know what? It feels amazing.â He took a step closer, his eyes gleaming with the same confident energy that radiated from the rest of the golden team. âYou should join us, Arthur. Youâre the only one left.â
Arthurâs heart raced as he realized the full extent of what had happened. His best friendâhis last allyâwas gone. He was surrounded, and the golden team had already won.
Arthurâs hands shook as he took another step back, his eyes darting between Jimmy and the rest of the team. They were closing in, and he knew there was no easy way out.
âYou donât have to do this, Jimmy,â Arthur said, trying to reach the part of Luke that might still be in there. âYou can fight it. You donât have to be one of them.â
But Jimmy just laughed, shaking his head. âBro, itâs already done. Iâm part of the team now, and itâs the best thing that ever happened to me. Youâre missing out, Arthur. Once you put on the jersey, youâll understand.â
Brody stepped forward, tossing another golden AC Milan kit onto the ground in front of Arthur. âHeâs right, bro. Just slip it on. Youâve been resisting for long enough. Itâs time to join the team.â
Arthur stared at the jersey, the temptation creeping up on him like a wave. It would be so easyâjust one step, one touch, and he would be free of the fear, the running. He could be like themâstrong, confident, unstoppable.
But he couldnât. He wouldnât.
Arthur shook his head, his jaw tightening. âNo. Iâm not joining.â
Brodyâs smile faded slightly, and he shrugged. âYour call, bro. But trust meâyouâll come around.â
Jimmy flexed again, grinning at Arthur. âYeah, bro. Youâll be one of us soon. Itâs just a matter of time.â
Arthur felt trapped. His mind raced for a way out, but the walls were closing in. His best friend was gone, and now the team was coming for him.
The golden jersey lay at his feet, shimmering in the dim office light.
Arthur knew he couldnât resist foreverâbut for now, he would fight.
Arthur stood frozen, staring down at the golden AC Milan jersey shimmering at his feet. The pressure was unbearable, his mind swirling with panic, fear, and confusion. His best friend, Lukeâno, Jimmyâwas grinning at him, already fully transformed into a member of the golden team. Brody and the others stood around him, flexing and waiting for him to make his decision.
âYou canât resist forever, bro,â Brody said, his voice calm, but commanding. âItâs time to join us. We need someone like youâa real asset.â

Arthurâs heart pounded in his chest. He had held out longer than anyone, but now, standing in front of the team, the golden jersey glinting beneath the fluorescent lights, he felt his resolve slipping. What was left to fight for? He had no more allies, no more strength to keep running. It would be so easy to give in, to finally stop resisting.
Jimmy stepped forward, placing a hand on Arthurâs shoulder. âCome on, bro. Donât make this harder than it needs to be. Youâll feel incredible once you put it on.â

Arthurâs hands trembled as he knelt down, his fingers brushing against the golden fabric. The moment his skin touched the jersey, a familiar jolt of energy shot through him, just like it had when he touched Lukeâs. This time, however, Arthur didnât pull away. He lifted the jersey slowly, feeling the pull growing stronger, the warmth of the fabric seeping into his skin.
Brody smiled, his arms crossed as he watched Arthurâs surrender. âThatâs it, bro. Youâre going to be great.â
Arthur slipped the golden jersey over his head. It clung to his body like it was made for him, the fabric tightening around his chest and arms, molding itself perfectly to his form. His muscles swelled, his posture straightened, and the buzzing in his mind intensified. He could feel the transformation happening, his body growing stronger, his mind becoming sharper.
But something was different. As the jersey settled against his skin, Brody tossed something else at his feetâa golden goalie kit, complete with matching gloves. The jersey was slightly different from the others, with padded areas on the chest and shoulders, designed for the teamâs new goalkeeper.
âWeâve been needing a new goalie, bro,â Brody said, grinning. âAnd youâre it.â
Arthurâs hands shook as he picked up the golden gloves, the fabric warm and inviting. As he slid his hands into them, the transformation took full control. His muscles tightened further, his legs felt sturdier, and his reflexes sharpened instantly, like he had been born to stand in front of the goal. The gloves fit perfectly, as if they had been waiting for him all along.
Arthur flexed his fingers, feeling the strength coursing through him. His mind, which had been full of resistance and fear just moments ago, now felt clear, focused on one goal: being the best. His hesitation melted away, replaced by an overwhelming sense of purpose. He was no longer Arthur, the last holdout of the resistance.
He was Arthur 1, the teamâs new goalie.

Arthur stood tall, his golden goalie kit gleaming under the lights. His mind was calm, at peace with the decision he had made. There was no more running, no more fighting. He was part of the golden team now, and it felt right.
Brody clapped him on the back. âSee, bro? I told you itâd be great. Youâre going to crush it out there.â
Jimmy grinned at him, flexing his arms. âWelcome to the team, Arthur. You look sick in that goalie kit, bro. Weâre going to dominate with you guarding the net.â
Arthur nodded, adjusting the gloves on his hands. The transformation was complete. He could feel the power of the golden team flowing through him, the connection to his new teammates stronger than ever.
As they walked back toward the main office, Arthurâs thoughts drifted to the game ahead. The team had needed a new striker, but what they really needed was someone strong enough to protect their goal. Arthur had become that playerâthe wall they needed to win. And as far as he was concerned, nothing could get past him now.

Arthur stood with the rest of the golden team, fully integrated and ready for whatever came next. His golden jersey and gloves glinted in the light as he flexed his arms, feeling the strength surging through his body. He was no longer the hesitant, fearful man who had resisted for so long. Now, he was part of something biggerâsomething stronger.
Brody smiled at the assembled team, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. âAlright, bros. Weâve got the perfect squad now. Letâs go crush it.â
As they walked together, Arthurânow Arthur 1âknew that he had found his place. No more resistance, no more fear. Just the golden team, united and unstoppable.
And with him as the goalie, there was no way they could lose.
