What is our purpose…? Is it to accomplish good deeds and be reborn into paradise? If we are just going to sit on lotus leaves, swaying to and fro, it is useless, is it not? In paradise, will there be the pleasure of sipping and blowing on steaming hot soup, or the pleasure of filling our mouths with aromatic meat with crispy roasted skin? If not, and all they do is live by inhaling the mist, as in the tales of Taoist immortals, then I would hate it! I want no such paradise. Even though there are hardships, this world has wonderful pleasures that make me forget those hardships - so this world is best. At least for me.

You get stuck in an elevator with these aot characters.

Armin arlert:

Would click the emergency Butten as soon as he realizes what’s happening.

If you’re scared or show nervousness he’d reassure you that everything is fine and someone will come to help soon.

He’d probably be the first to strike up a conversation, some small talk to pass the time.

After about 20 minutes the two of you were rescued.

Ever since then Armin smiles or weaves at you whenever he sees you on the street or in the store.

Jean Kirstein:

Would be calm and a bit annoyed at first.

Would also strike up a conversation with you but more like a “do you live here? Does this happen often?”

You tell him about a rumor you once heard about the elevator in this building crashing.

He’s not scared untill 20 minutes have passes and the lights suddenly go out.

He’d reassure you that everything is fine even tho you’ve told him you’re not scared or nervous twice already.

You figured that he’s probably a bit nervous.

When you tried to tell him everything will be okay he gets a little defensive and says he’s not scared and that he’s fine

After 40 minutes had passed and still nothing had happened

He keeps talking to you to distract himself from his nervousness.

After 50 minutes you two get rescued and the power in the elevator is restored.

Would probably act like nothing had happened after the incident.

His behavior toward from before the incident and after would be almost identical

Connie springer:

Would not care at first and start talking to you about it.

Almost forgets to click the emergency button.

“Man, how long do you think we’ll be in here until someone notices the elevator even stoped?”

“They’ll know immediately.They have an emergency button you can just click it.” You tell him.

Would accidentally scare you by telling stories he heard about people who died due to being stuck in elevators.

When you get scared he feels a bit guilty and tries to make up for it.

“Those stories were probably fake don’t worry nothing will happen to us…I hope”

“What was that?”

“Oh nothing”

“Don’t worry, only like 30 people die in an elevator per month”

“Per month?!”

“Or was it per year? I can’t remember but hey how likely is it that umong these 30 will be one of us?”

He scared himself with the stories he told you.

You’re the one reassuring him in the end.

If the two of you are friends and you get nervous or scared he’d start jumping up and down to scare you even more.

Would (again) end up being scared himself if the lights go out of the elevator starts shaking a bit because of him.

If you two end up becoming friends he would tell Everyone who you meet or who he mentions you to the story of how you two met.
