4: when I first started digital art, I was into archery. I suck at it btw, and I don’t even own a bow. And instead of a “bow and arrow” it’s a bow and brush

But if I suck at archery and I’m inconsistent I’m art, then I guess the name fits, right? :0

16: I’m sorry, I can’t pick one. I love all my Mutuals sorry dearly. But I’ll just mention a couple this time-

@truths33k3r4 is so sweet and positive- she has prayed for me in times of need and comments and shared my art. Truly a person everyone needs in life. She also makes awesome dubs and art :D

@ladysqueakinpip and @topazpearl are so cool. When I first wandered into tumblr and posted a very flawed sketch of Donnie reading the Bible, they just snatched me as a friend. It’s the equivalent of being alone on a playground as the weird new kid and these cool experienced older kids just say “hey, you’re my bud now”

@lokiwaffles comments and shares my art too, and is amazing. She’s awesome and makes really cool OC’s and animatic and is so very talented. It was so much fun drawing in magma with @exhaustedwriterartist, who is too an incredible artist AND writer, a double threat.

What made you fall in love with drawing and/or animation?

Like basically every kid, I was obsessed with animation and cartoons. Spirit, httyd, Calvin and Hobbes and Mlp were some of my favorites. And of course I had to draw those characters everywhere.

but I’m sure this has to do with (probably) bring neurodivergent. I spaced out in class, could not pay attention to boring things for the life of me, and hyperfocused on comics, drawing, and anything that wasn’t productive.(Obviously these aren’t the only symptoms, but are the ones that connect to this)

I’m a visual learner. I was good with science because our teacher had us play visual games and look at diagrams. And because art is purely a visual perspective learning curve, it was the only thing I was specifically good with. I also needed attention and praise. I don’t know why, but…I just do. Is it normal to seek validation from people? So I sought after praise by doing the thing I was best at, you know? yeah. First time I really told this to anyone in my life, so thank you for lifting that off my shoulders. If anyone is diagnosed with a mental disorder and experiences this, please share with me! Honestly my struggle with this is getting worse every day.
