SITTING IN THE RAIN You ask me why I sit under the rain? Because it understands me. It falls from the skies, thinking it can fly, With only a desire to be free. It reminds me of memories old and lost; Like the soft dimples on her cheeks. it talks to me about the times she sat there with me, About those long drives and longer weeks. You ask me why I sit under the rain? because it gives me a reason for the tears; It talks to me, Whispering sometimes, words of solace that I wish to hear. But most of all the rain, for me, Brings new hope, saying again, That even those who might fall from grace Can be reborn like the gentle, nurturing rain. Though it might sometimes be hard To understand how those lost and alone, can have another start, a chance, And can find their ways back home. So you ask me, why do I sit in the rain? I say it understands me, and my pain. It is my saviour time and again; And I too hope to one day be someone's rain.

Reblogging this because I’m the same. I too find it hard to make friends, and on the other hand, my friends too have expressed how it was hard to get talking to me or to others. This is a good post and it’s how things should be, simple and straightforward. Except for Micheal. Goddamit Micheal what did u do *now*?! >○
