Let's talk about Nino

Always that friend, never in the spotlight, an unpopular kid with popular friends- Nino. Anansi gave him the importance I've been wishing since so long! I love Nino and I more so love the fact that he is neglected no more.

Alya and Nino are perfect. I hope they get more screen time in future episodes. (When they come years later XD)

ECSTASY

I stood waiting at my doorstep.

It sure was a gloomy noon.

With a thumping heart and bated breath,

I knew he would come anytime soon.

He would come to me like he usually does,

The way to my house etched into him by now.

An expectant smile graced my face,

As it would when you’d wait for your love.

Oh, but it started raining.

The smile now dropped a tone.

There's no way he'll make it now- my brain declared.

There's still hope left- my heart whispered.

Woe! How I despaired!

And then through the sheath of rain

A brilliant light broke through

No it wasn't the good ol’ sun

Just a bike that had been a long long due.

And on the bike sat he,

I gazed at him, eyes full of glee.

With every step he came closer

My heart skipped, over and over.

Then he finally reached me,

And handed me the most precious thing.

I took it carefully off his hands,

Afraid it will fall, that's something I can't bear to see.

I rushed inside with a soaring heart,

Opened and took a peek at what's inside.

A smile began to form, a different kind.

And I took the first bite of my pizza,

Satisfaction filling my ecstatic mind.
